Well…finally, the media is starting to report on the idiot trump’s severe mental decline after a couple of incidents over the past week…the first one was where he was doing one of typical rants when the teleprompter froze and he did, too…then to fill the time he went off on the most bonkers rant about electric boats and sharks that made no sense at all…and in a meeting with his rich supporters in DC Thursday, his decline was on full display as he could barely put a coherent sentence together and went of on rambling rants about Taylor Swift, Nancy Pelosi and anyone who has a caring wife…and finally, the media has started to report and comment with USA today saying this after the bonkers press conference after he was convicted of 34 felonies a couple of weeks back: “trump’s cheese slid off it’s cracker. It ain’t coming back”. I now know why Joe Biden wants to debate him without teleprompters…and the low information voters who aren’t paying attention will be shocked when they see him and will know he doesn’t belong anywhere near the WH…geez…
June 15th
Well…normally, when I hurt as bad as I do right now, I’d take a day off of everything and give this old body a rest but with the goals I have of riding every day and getting to 7,100 miles won’t allow that…but I may just skip the indoor ride and just do two outdoors today…it’s almost 60 out there so I can get out as soon as the coffee starts to work…was up at 3:40 but didn’t get out of bed til after 6 but the extra time didn’t do a thing and I’m still exhausted…the new blind looks good and modern and it makes me want to get the other two up in here but I’m not sure if that will be today….maybe…but I need an easy day to grill some chicken and potatoes…damn, it’s pushing 7 and I need to get going but I have no energy…it’s going to be 90 here for the next three days and I wonder if I should go to the beach for the first time Monday? The water is still too cold to swim but I think I need to start evening out my biker tan and I could use the relaxation time…I normally like to go out there in the morning but that would mean cutting out at least one ride and I’m not sure I can do that….I guess we’ll see…not much to do today…just need to get my butt moving right now so I can finish the two rides before 10…damn, I’m sore…and tired….more later…
One blind up…
Well…damn, what a pain in the butt but I do have one of the new blinds up in the living room…the cheap ass screws they included look like they’re made to only go into plaster or pine but my windows are trimmed with walnut and it was almost impossible to make them go in even with drilling the holes almost as big as the screws…I even had to go downstairs and get leftover screws from other work since the heads of the ones with the blinds just stripped out…but the blind works and looks good and the other two should be easier after figuring out this one…didn’t get any other work done but the bike rides and an errand…and my hands hurt so much from doing this one that I am going to have to treat them later…crap…
Now guns have more rights than people…
Well…the SC does it again and awards more rights to guns than people and the corruption just oozed from this partisan opinion…you recall what a bump stock is? It is a little device that turns a semi automatic gun into a full automatic one that was used to kill 58 people in Las Vegas a few years back…and today the repub SC said that they are just fine for anyone to buy or use…what the hell is next? Can I get a full automatic 50 cal and mount it to the front of my car? I’m sure someone will sue to get that right in one of the right wing infested courts and then everyone will be able to carry full automatics wherever they want…look, folks, if you didn’t have a reason to vote before, you do now…how long do you think it will be until some asshole shoots up a school or a mall or a church using a bump stock on a semi automatic? Days probably and the unhinged righties will be the ones doing it…the court needs reform and the only way we’ll get it is if we get out and vote…geez…
June 14th
Well…damn, I’ve been feeling the depression coming for a couple of weeks now and it hit overnight….up at 4:34 this morning and haven’t slept for crap for the past week and it’s probably connected but I’m too tired to think about it right now…it didn’t rain like forecast yesterday so that means I’m going to lose the lawn for the second year in a row…I wonder if I should just plant dune grass on it and let it go? Today is going to be a struggle with needing to go out and get the new blinds, stop at aldis, and then hit DD but I’m not sure if I’m going to have the energy to cook anything today….I do need to tear the couch apart today and rotate the cushions but that seems to be a daunting task right now….watched the last “Discovery” last night and I’ve now endured the end of 6 Star Trek series starting with TOS when I was 15…damn, that’s a long time and I’m really old…I just hate it when a show I like ends…oh, well…need to get on the bike in an hour or so to get the day started but I may do that earlier since I’m already bored…I do need to put one set of blinds up today to replace the one that fell apart when I tried to clean it but that seems like way too much work with how I’m feeling…and it’s not going to rain until next Friday so I give up on the lawn for another year….more later…
Had to take an easier day…
Well…after wearing myself out all week, I really had to take it easier today…I still did 33 miles but not a lot of work other than putting the new tabs on the plate and putting the new beach parking sticker on the windshield so I guess I have to keep it until at least the end of the summer…I do have veggies coming with beans and peas already growing and the cuke plants are flowering and they never did that last year…and even the pepper plants are flowering and I have a tiny little Jalapeno growing already…not sure what’s going on with the sunflowers this year but I have 8 of them up when last year they only got about 4 inches before some animal cut them off…a couple of them are over two feet tall and growing and have started to make flowers…so tomorrow I’ll go out and they will be gone…the flowers I put in on the east side of the house are taking off and have started to flower and I can’t wait til they all do…I do have to figure out where the next beans and broccoli are going to go since I want to have some late in the summer and I have lots of seeds…my new blinds have come in at depot and I’ll pick them up tomorrow and I’ll hit aldis right next door to get some mushrooms for the pizza I want to make this weekend…and maybe run over to DD to get some spicy chicken patties for 5 pounds for 6 bucks so I’ll have something quick and easy when I don’t want to cook…time to get ready for the night…
The fight is not over…
Well…even with the SC ruling today that abortion medications will stay legal for now, that doesn’t mean that trump controlled FDA could still rule that they are illegal and take that right away from everybody…even in blue states that have enshrined women’s right into their constitution like here in Michigan…so that puts abortion on the ballot here…again…and we need to get the hell out an vote to make sure the idiot toddler never sets foot in the WH again…and this is not the only damage he will do…just take a look at the fascist 2024 plan that the extreme right plan to impose on this country if they take control ever again…they already have a plan and trump people ready to replace every civil servant that kept them from doing it the last time idiot boy was installed…so, get out and vote like your life depends on it…it really does…geez…

Well…damn, I hurt frickin everywhere this morning and I have no clue why that would be…all I did was mow the lawn on top of the rides yesterday but that’s normal for me…hmmm…the allergies have been terrible the past few days and I need to take something for it here in a minute…it looks like rain is finally coming in soon so I’ll be down on the indoor bike in a half hour or so…up at 3 today but was able to get back to sleep til 5:34…left the house open overnight since it didn’t get below 70 all night and it is nice to have a slight, cool breeze blowing through here as I wait for the rain…didn’t get a lot done but mowing the lawn yesterday and I wonder how much I’ll get done today? I think I’ll grill some chicken legs today along with some sliced potatoes but I’m not sure if I want to do that much work…I do need to make some chicken masala again so I have some easy leftover food to eat…it seems like cooking is getting to be a chore like everything lately…it’s after 7 and I need to get on the bike soon but I sure need a day to just veg and take it easy…just want to sit on the porch couch and listen to the rain when it comes…not much to do today…if I can get through the bike ride indoors it will be an accomplishment…and I’ll keep my string of riding every day this year intact…have 165 days in a row of riding and I know my record is 186 days so that will fall by early July…and that is just for this year…I really started this string last October 19th so I’m already over the record…more later…
Man, I’m used up…
Well…another day of starting out at 7am and now I just finished up at 2pm and I am used up…got the first ride in downstairs to start my day…then out for groceries where I did pick up a new tire for the bike and that was an ouch at 25 bucks…then two rides outdoors and mowing the lawn since it may rain off and on for the next two days…I did see a mama turkey with 8 little ones crossing a busy street this morning and the little ones were so tiny I could hold two of them in the palm of my hand..was going to stop and get a photo but didn’t want to spook them and have them run out into traffic…still waiting to hear from depot that my blinds are in so I can get them up…should probably put the groceries away but I just want to sit a minute and read some news after I’m done here…bought some chicken legs at aldi’s for 99 cents a pound so the grill will be working overtime the rest of the week…okay, time for some news…
Talk about the economy, dems…
Well…as the idiot trump cheers for the economy to crash before this fall’s election, the reality of the performance of the economy needs to be talked about by the dems since the media in this country is in the hands of the billionaires and they want their stooge installed in the WH again…the truth is that the US economy is the envy of the world with low inflation (it was actually zero last month), falling gas prices, and rising wages just to name a few accomplishments…and it is Biden and his team that has done it…even “breaking” OPEC through the use of US oil reserves…and let’s remember that he even made a profit after refilling the reserves…and now even though OPEC and Russia are cutting oil production to try to manipulate the market but they are not getting effect they used to get since transportation has gotten more efficient with hybrids and electric vehicles lowering demand for oil…and that is going keep happening…and one good side effect is with oil prices dropping, it make it harder for putin to pay for his was in Ukraine….and all of this is the effect of Biden’s policies…do you think trump would have the finesse to have done all this? Yeah, that one made me laugh, too…not a frickin chance…so get at it dems…we have the best economy in 40 years so talk about it…geez…
