Well…there are a lot of stupid Latinos in this country who voted for the idiot trump and now see their friends and families being rounded up and deported and now they are wailing “that’s not what we voted for”…ha, ha, ha…idiot boy’s whole campaign was that he was going to deport 12 million “illegals” and has plans to build a concentration camp at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba that will hold 30,000 people…who the hell did these stupid voters think were going to end up in these camps? At every damn speech he gave the overriding theme was hatred for immigrants…so why would anyone think he wouldn’t deport every brown person in the US…even legal immigrants and even a big group of veterans who served this country in the military…and this stupidity was not limited to Latinos…the chair of the Arabs for trump is whining that idiot boy has now supported pushing all Palestinians out of Gaza and relocating them somewhere…and he said exactly the same thing: “that’s not what we voted for”…stupid , stupid people…they are getting just what they deserve…geez…
January 30th
Well…darn, only 24 minutes before I need to get on the bike and this pushing all the time is wearing me out…or it could be that life in general is wearing me out…it looks like I’ll get to 700 miles for the month tomorrow and the string of riding every day is still going…497 days in a row isn’t bad for an old guy…I wonder why I’ve stopped having dreams? It’s been months since I’ve had any but I’ve been sleeping okay so that is a puzzle…oh, well…didn’t get much done yesterday so I’ll have to get something done today…what that is I don’t know but something…it’s going to be in the 40’s for the last day today and then back in the 20’s but we’ve lost a lot of the snow over the past few days an I’ll take it…and there isn’t any big snow in the forecast for the next 10 days so I’m going to put my shoveling clothes away for a while…still don’t have to cook today but I do need to start planning what needs to come out of the freezer for the weekend…not much to do today…10 minutes until the bike rides need to start but I’ve only had one cup of coffee and I’m not sure if that’s enough…no, it’s not but I’ll drag myself down soon…more later…
A nice day…
Well…it’s been a nice day out here today and it’s been sunny almost all day so that means we lost a lot of snow…I did get a mini grocery run done today and won’t have to go out again for a couple of weeks and I don’t mind that at all…I did get the laundry done but not much else since the library books have been calling my name…and I’m going right back to that after I finish this…we have one more day of relatively warm weather so more of the snow will be gone but we still have inches of ice on the roads up here but I hope the next three days of freezing will help that…still won’t need to cook for a few days but then it will be alfredo and stir fry along with some chili dogs…I bought 4 cans of chili since they were less than half price…can you believe that a 16 oz can of Hormel is 3.19 regular price…but I got them for 1.39 and I thought that was a deal…and that is the no bean chili that has lots more burger in it…now I’m going to read a little and plan what cleaning I’m going to do tomorrow…
What the hell is it with these people?
Well…over the past few years, one of the right’s many terrible acts was the constant attacks on transgender people and now idiot boy has taken it even farther by banning all transgender people from serving in the military…what the hell is it with these people? Why do they hate transgenders so much? It’s not like there are very many of those people and it’s not like they are coming to force people to transition…I’m sure they would like to just live their lives and have everyone leave them alone…is that too much to ask? I guess this is the repubs idea of “freedom” that they are always going on about…and that is only the freedom to be hateful bastards 24 hours a day…they are going to get people killed with this hate…and when these murders happen, idiot boy will just pardon the murderers just like he did to all of the January 6th attackers who beat policemen and women…and who are now being re-arrested for new crimes they committed since they know they will be pardoned again…geez…
January 29th
Well…damn, I feel pretty lousy this morning and not eating enough for days is the reason…have been under 1K calories for 4 days in a row and today is going to be the same…it stayed over 35 degrees overnight so that will make the mini grocery run this morning easy but we are supposed to get rain/snow later today and I will be in until Monday…have about 4 minutes til I need to get on the bike and that is going to be a chore with just starting on the first cup of coffee…damn, I’m worn out….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks the same but I should do some cleaning…my coffee table is full of books and mail that need to be taken care of and I should get after the dining room….but who knows if I will? I still need a day off at some point but need to get off my butt right now and get going…lots of champions league matches on today and I’ll hope to see a couple of them…this is going to be a hard day…more later…
Pretty normal day…
Well…after all of the running around yesterday, today reverted to be pretty normal with three rides in before 11 and then making some Masala for lunch that will last me 4 more days of so…and I probably won’t have to cook before Friday or Saturday and then I’ll make the Alfredo sauce with fettuccine and maybe the guilty pleasure of some chili dogs with onions and pickles…no other protein and my freezer is getting light but I should buy a bag of stir fry veggies to make since I do have a couple of chicken breasts in the freezer I could use for that…it was another melting day out here and we get two more before the temp drops on Friday and I’ll take that…down to a month of really bad cold weather and I can’t wait to get back on the outdoor bike…I may rebuild the driveline on the bike before that since it’s going to need it but I am a little curious how much farther I can go before it starts to skip all the time…and it’s hard to get the shifter adjustment right without riding it on the street…this will be the first year in a long time I didn’t ride outdoors in the winter…and I’m okay with that…I will have over 700 miles for the month by the end of Friday and I feel okay about that…okay, have three books to read….
Where the hell is congress?
Well…with the idiot’s executive order essentially stopping the government from spending any money, we have reached peak unconstitutionality and it’s only going to get worse…after all we are only a week into idiot boys term and the question is: where is congress? The constitution give the power to spend money to congress, not the executive branch and, if I were a congressman, I’d be right in his face telling him to stop usurping the power of congress…if he wants to be the head of congress, run for a seat…that is what the separation of powers is for…to keep idiots like trump from taking over the whole government and ignoring laws passed by them…but it’s just like everything else, he thinks the constitution doesn’t apply to him…I now need the dem reps to raise holy hell but I have not heard one peep out of them…and they need to get on it now…geez…
January 28th
Well…damn, it was windy here yesterday and we had one gust last night that just shook the house and it was so damn loud it sounded like a jet was landing in the yard…going to be in the 40’s today and I’ll take that for the end of January but then it goes down into the 20’s for weeks but I’m okay with that if it doesn’t snow…slept okay last night but I should have with getting up at 5 yesterday…stayed in bed til a little after 6 this morning and I need to get on the bike in 30 minutes to get all three rides in before noon and make the Masala for lunch…didn’t eat much yesterday…just two bowls of potato soup and I can feel that right now…but I need to do that since the soup goes bad pretty fast…and with it having milk in it, it doesn’t freeze well…I am going to make some alfredo sauce later in the week and what I’ve learned thickening the milk for the potato soup will work for the alfredo, too….I need to straighten this place up some today but I want to just read the new books I got from the library…I’ll have months worth of reading from these three authors and that is cool…not much to do today…one of these days I’m going to take an easy day but I need to get to 700 miles for the month by Friday and that means 24 miles a day til then…more later…
It’s liberating…
Well…for the first time this year, I was able to just get in the car and do the grocery run without having to shovel or worry about burying the car in the snow…and I didn’t have to plan anything…just got in the car and went…and even after I forgot to go to the library, I just got back in the car and went over there and that is just so liberating after being trapped in here for so long…and getting back in the car, I noticed that I hadn’t disconnected the battery and it would have been dead in a couple of days so that worked out well…and I got the car washed and went to DD to get 2-46 ounce cans of coffee for 10 bucks…I did forget my grocery list but remembered all but one item from Meijers and that isn’t bad for an old guy…and now I have the Parmesan I need for alfredo sauce…but I’m not going to make that until later in the week…have chicken thawed for Masala tomorrow so I’ll just have another bowl of potato soup for dinner…I did get three new books so I want to do some reading this aft…but need to take care of the dishes first…

Well…with the asshole in chief blundering around trying to implement his racist immigration policies, he has hit Columbia with a 25% tariff that he is threatening to raise to 50%, so go out and buy coffee now before they hit…your 13 dollar 2 lb bag of Columbian beans is going to cost 20 bucks in the next couple of weeks and that is just the first of the trump taxes that you are going to be hit with as the moron uses tariffs for his personal vendettas against the world…I’m going to order 6 more pounds of beans from amazon today along with getting two 46 oz cans from DD for 10 bucks so I’ll be set for most of the year…thanks maga morons…you did this to all of us…oh, and Brazil is already raising prices on their coffee to take advantage of the tariffs price rise…this is what you get when you put a moron in charge of the economy…
