Well…this is one I didn’t want to write…my brother died last night…I am so glad I went to see him for the last time Monday…through my whole life he was there and now he’s not…I will miss the phone calls when we would talk for an hour or so just to catch up and see how each other was doing…and he always had things to give or to sell me…two of my bikes were his, my stereo speakers, my lawn care equipment, and my gas grill were all from him…and now on our birthday it will only be mine…I know it’s life but it still sucks…
March 20th
Well…damn, running late today with not getting out of bed til 6:30 and I need to get on the bike in 9 minutes to get a ride in before the grocery run…slept okay last night with only getting up once but I still feel pretty worn out today after cleaning the dining room and doing the wood floors that I need to wax today…and then I need to get on the living room and wash the couch cover when I rotate the couch cushions…the weather is going to be cold and crappy for the rest of the month and it sure doesn’t feel like the first day of spring that came yesterday….oh, well…I do need to get outside on the bike if I’m going to make it to 2K miles by the end of the month but it looks like I’m not going to make it…have about 300 miles yet to do and at 16 miles a day indoors and only 11 days, the math doesn’t add up…I am going to buy a big ham today since Meijers has them on sale for 89 cents a pound and I can’t pass that up….okay, need to get on the bike right now after I pour this cup of coffee down….more later…
A couple of things…
Well…I find it funny that 17 upper level people in the idiot trump’s administration have come out to say that idiot boy should never be anywhere near the WH again…and a former Sec of defense has listed a litany of things that idiot boy did to disrespect the military from trashing Gold Star families to failing to visit any military cemeteries when he was in Europe because it was raining a little bit…and now there is a war going on between Liz Cheney and the idiot and she is not taking any crap from him anymore…but my question is: “where the hell were all these people when trump was in office and doing all this stuff that he is still doing?” The could have spoken up then and saved the country so much trauma…and I just read that the incompetent way idiot boy handled the covid pandemic cost the US more lives than were lost in WWII…yep, new number crunching says that more than 400,000 people died directly from idiot boy’s inaction and resistance to vaccines……and Biden’s response should be to hammer him on these two issues now that there are numbers to back him up…I guess they have already used the 17 resisters to trump but they haven’t done anything on covid…and they need to hammer him on the well reported fact that idiot boy doesn’t care about anyone but himself…geez…
March 19th
Well…yesterday sucked…went over to see my brother and he’s gone…only recognized me for a brief second and it hit me like a punch in the face…I’ve been getting myself ready for this day for a while now but that doesn’t make it any easier…he’s been there my entire life and soon he won’t be…I know it’s how life goes but it makes me feel my end coming….the heater core in my car is still leaking and I need to find a new car soon but all I want to do is just sit here…feel so damn worn out and the cold weather we are having doesn’t help…rain and snow again today and a high of 40 with wind of 20-30 and I am so tired of the wind…it was blowing the car around on the trip into GR yesterday and that was a lot of work…didn’t do the weight work yesterday and I don’t want to get on the bike today…but I will…and the cleaning won’t do itself so I need to get that started today…damn, it’s 7:10 and i need to get on the bike here in 20 minutes…just feel old today and that sucks…the wind is howling already and I could use a little peace and quiet…not much to do today…cleaning, cleaning, cleaning….more later…
No PSA til May…
Well…not sure if it’s good news or bad news but they have changed my PSA test schedule from every three months to every 6 months and I’m guessing it’s from the two that they took after the surgery that shows that it was undetectable…so, when I called my doctor this morning to schedule one, they said they have one ordered for the first week of May and I can go out to the lab any time that week…I did get the bike rides in this morning and it was a little easier than normal for some reason and I even got started a little after 7 and done by 9:30…and now I’m going to read a bit to start the afternoon…damn, it’s cold out here today and it snowed about 3 inches overnight so that is pretty depressing with the forecast of cold weather into April…brrrrr…oh, well….reading time…
No bond for you…
Well…I just started laughing out loud when I read that no bank of bonding company will touch the 454 million dollar bond that the idiot trump needs to be able to appeal the judgement in NY…and every day he can’t find someone it costs him 114,000 dollars in additional penalties…so I guess he doesn’t have the 400 million dollars in cash or cash equivalents that he bragged about during the trial…and none of the bonding agencies will take property as collateral so it really does look like he is not going to be able to appeal if he doesn’t find some way to satisfy the court…and then James will start seizing his properties in NY…and that process should start April 1st…and look, the appeal is not going to work anyway since the case against him was so strong an there were no appealable mistakes by the prosecution or the judge…your move asshole…geez…
March 18th
Well…darn, it snowed overnight and it must be a few inches and I’m so damn tired of it…so no outdoor ride again today since it’s not getting over 35 again today…I wonder where spring is? Up at 4:24 and out of be by around 6 and I am exhausted today….stayed under 1K calories again yesterday and that probably has something to do with it…and for some reason my left knee hurts like crazy today but lots of other pain so I guess that’s normal…started to clean this place up and that will continue today…need to get on the bike in 19 minutes and I really don’t want to…have been on the bike every day since the first of the year and I think I’m wearing out…and I have lots to do this week that I don’t even want to think about…then I have the yard work to get started on as soon as the snow melts…it’s another leftover day but I do need to plan meals for the rest of the week and get the freezer emptied a bit…not much to do today…just the routine of two rides and then maybe a little reading…want to finish the third book today so I can go to the library Wed or maybe even tomorrow…more later…
A strange day…
Well…it’s been a little bit of a weird day and I didn’t get much done but the bike rides since I wanted to finish up the second of the three books I got from the library…and there was a race on for background noise…my new beard trimmer came and I hate it so it’s going back to amazon this week…have already ordered a different one that will be here Friday…the one I got today didn’t cut smoothly and couldn’t be adjusted for the length I want my beard to be and it had these weird adjustments that I would never need and didn’t have a ear trimmer attachment that I use all the time on the one that broke…tomorrow I have to call my doctor to get them to order another PSA test since I’m a month past when they should have ordered it and I really want to know if the cancer is back or not…then I need to start cleaning the house since one of my sons and his wife are coming over and bringing dinner Sunday along with their dog Art…and I’ve been lazy about cleaning lately…
“There’s going to be a bloodbath”…
Well…if you heard any of the idiot trump’s speech yesterday, and I hope you didn’t, you heard him making terroristic threats against the country saying if he doesn’t get elected in the fall, the is going to be a “bloodbath” in the US…so how is this not terrorism? If you or me or anyone else stood up anywhere in this country and made that statement, the FBI would be at our doors within hours…and then we’d be in jail soon after that…but again, the criminal trump gets away with it…and his defenders spout the bullshit that it is his first amendment right to say it…but we know that the SC has ruled that the first amendment is not absolute like the right says about the second…there are limitations and when you threaten to murder your political foes, that is illegal…sow hat’s it going to be Garland? Are you going to let idiot boy continue to break the law? This terrorist needs to be held accountable and it should be today…geez…
March 17th
Well…that was better…didn’t get out of bed til 6 or so and it broke the string of 4 to 5 am wake ups…but that still leaves me with 13 minutes before I need to get on the bike…had a pretty easy day yesterday and got some cleaning done…I now have a clean kitchen floor and have started to de-clutter the dining room and living room so that is progress…slept okay last night but with too little food I’m out of energy today…I mean a half a bowl of soup and a piece of pizza is not enough to support two rides and working around here…but will I do anything about it? Going to try today…have thawed a pork loin fillet and will have it with some broccoli and a baked potato…the temps outside have crashed down to 33 and it’s not getting much warmer than that for the day today and tomorrow and I am tired of the cold…but that is going to continue the rest of the month…I need spring to come right now….not much to do today…just need to get the rides done before the truck race from Bristol comes on at 10 but I’m having a hard time getting going…but I will…now…more later…
