Well…with the revelation this week that the entire Biden/Ukraine “investigation” that the repubs used to start impeachment against Joe Biden was a Russian operation run by putin, another more damning piece of information came out that the repubs were warned that their star witness was a Russian spy back in 2020 and that it was all fabricated to get trump reelected…but, as I have said many, many times before…the repubs don’t care if it’s true or not…if it hurts Biden, they will use the full force of the government to use lies or the Russians to do it…my problem with the whole thing is that no one is holding these repub assholes responsible for using your and my tax dollars for political purposes which would have gotten people thrown out of congress but it’s run by repubs who have no ethics at all and who still support a 91 felonies criminal for their presidential candidate….the repubs truly are captured completely by putin and the only way to fix it is to never vote repub again…ever…geez…
February 24th
Well..damn, it’s only 17 degrees out here and I really hope that this is the last bout of cold weather until later in the year…yeah, I know…it still snows into March and April here in Michigan but I can have hope, can’t I? Today feels like the day where I just wing it and take it easy but I just can’t do it and you know that….I used to know how to do that and was pretty good at it…oh, well…okay, it’s 16 degrees not 17…does that change anything? Nope…one thing that is a little weird about this winter is that we have not gotten close to zero when I remember February as the month where it got below zero a lot….but I’m not complaining….and this coming week is going to be about 60 at some point and I’ll take that any day….not too sore this morning even with getting an outdoor ride in yesterday…my hands and forearms did hurt last night but they are better today…although my fingers still feel numb from getting frozen yesterday…need to get on the bike soon but I sure want the coffee to work first…have about 10 minutes to sit here before I have to get going…not sure what the work is going to be for today but it will be something….I should start getting the basement straightened up and I may…who knows? more later…
An easy day…
Well…I did get out to do an outdoor ride today but it was cold…started out okay with it 40 and sunny, but by the time I got out to the beach, clouds had rolled in and the temp dropped into the thirties along with a cold wind off the lake…so I didn’t stay out there long…they have started to clear the sand off beach street so it looks like they are going to open it early this year….didn’t have a lot else to do today but I did get the stove and microwave cleaned and just finished up my weight work so that leaves me a couple of hours to read before the entertainment starts…had a nice clean bike when I left today but it is going to have to be cleaned again Sunday since I’m not riding outdoors tomorrow with the high forecast to be around 34…too darn cold for me…had two pieces of pizza for lunch so I’m skipping dinner today and just had some celery and ranch dressing in place of it…I’ll have some cheese and crackers later and that will keep me under 1K calories today….bean burritos tomorrow….

Well…I really do wonder where the heck the idiot trump gets the bottom of the barrel lawyers he’s using…after getting smacked down on his claims of “presidential immunity” by a DC appeals court, these idiots try to do the same thing in the stolen documents case in Florida…essentially telling the trump fluffing judge in that case that she doesn’t have to listen to the appeals court because they say that something something, unconstitutional….that is just not how it works…they are claiming immunity for time after he was out of office and lied to the FBI as he hid documents…and the new twist here is that they loudly proclaim that he magically turned these top secret documents into “personal” papers that he could then keep…and again, that’s not how any of this works and a first year lawyer should know all of this…but these morons don’t…geez…
February 23rd
Well…it looks like this is going to be a two ride day with the high temp only around 35 and that’s too damn cold to ride outside…and tomorrow is going to be the same so I’ll have a little extra time to get some stuff done around here…need to do some meal planning or just go down to one meal a day again and that may be easier and help me continue to use weight…had an okay day yesterday but it was busier than I want…it’s 6:45 and I should be getting on the bike by 7 but I may wait a while since I only have two rides to do…I have to do maintenance on both bikes today but I have all afternoon to do it so that should be easy…I really do have to get off my butt and get some cleaning done today…or anything…have been such a slug lately…no, that’s not true…after three rides, making a pizza, doing laundry and washing the bike yesterday, that should be enough for anyone to say it was a productive day…but not me….I’m not sure where the compulsion to fill my days comes from but I’m getting tired of it…oh, well…not much to do today…have to clear out the fridge of spoiled food and I may make some bean burritos to use the tomatoes I have in there…not sure yet…more later….
Busy again…
Well…darn, another busy day again and I may have to re-think how I’m doing things…three hours on the bike every day essentially takes up all of my free time and I know that has to happen with my big goal on the bike…so what else can go? Not sure yet but it’s pushing 5pm and I’m still doing this when I should be reading and having some relaxation…started the day with getting two rides in downstairs, then straight into making a homemade pizza for lunch on the grill in the garage…then straight out on the outdoor bike in shorts it was so nice…and not having my thermasuit on gave me a bunch of energy and I came back all the way from the beach in a sprint in 24th gear and that felt good…then I had to wash the bike since it was so covered in grit that you couldn’t tell what color it was…I’m hoping the trails dry out by Sunday since that will be the next outdoor day with cold coming in for Fri and Sat…will have to lube the bike in the next couple of days but it has to dry out first…so that was my day…oh, and the weight work and making dinner, too…going to thaw some brats to grill next week when it warms up…but right now I want to read a bit…

Well…with the breathless bleating by the repubs that they are impeaching Joe Biden for bribes by Ukrainians, it came out yesterday that the whole thing and their star witness is part of a Russian intelligence operation to hurt Joe Biden and get the idiot trump re elected…all planned by putin and just the same thing as they did to steal the election for idiot boy in 2016…and the only question that still needs to be answered is how many repubs knew about it and willingly went along since the only thing in their minds is to get the criminal trump back in the WH…they were either used by putin or they committed treason…and that is james comer and jim jordan who are up to their necks in this just as they were in January 6th…when will they be held accountable? Do they just get to continue to commit treason every day? where the hell is Merrick Garland in all of this? these guys should be locked up right now and I don’t care how political it looks…geez…
February 22nd
Well…darn, need to get moving soon and I sure don’t feel like it right now….so damn tired and I forgot to turn the coffee maker on….today is going to be a lot of effort with making a pizza for lunch but I need to get three rides in before that…had an okay day yesterday and got an outdoor ride in that left the bike covered in dirt as I was when I got back here…it was still a nice ride and the trails were clear and it looks like they will stay that way into March and I may be able to transition into only outdoor rides soon…but I will miss watching tv on the tablet downstairs….it’s only 31 degrees out there right now so it appears the outdoor ride will wait til the afternoon….have 14 minutes until I have to get on the bike and I need more coffee…going to do some cleaning in the kitchen today while the pizza is cooking on the grill…need to have a little more discipline around here to make sure I get things done…not much to do today…it starts here in a minute and I’m not sure I’m up to it….I am really craving a day off to watch old movies and just sit here…oh, well,,,more later…

Well…just a little shorty about an article I just read over on Mastodon…it appears that the idiot trump is having a little trouble raising cash for his political campaign…they just reported that they only raised 8,500 bucks for the month of January…yep you saw that right…8,500 bucks for an entire month where Joe Biden raised millions…so, maybe being such a loser is starting to dry up maga money? I wonder what happens when he gets convicted this summer and ends up in jail? Can’t wait to see…geez…

Well…I know we’re all tired of the idiot trump and a lot of us on the left don’t want to hear a thing from him, don’t want see his face, and don’t want to read any of his rants…I know I’m tired of writing about him but we all have to suck it up and keep paying attention…and keep highlighting that while Joe Biden may be old, the idiot boy is just pure evil and will end democracy if he get put in office again…and that is the only way he will get there is if Russia puts him there…again…and look, I know Joe mixes things up sometimes, but so do I and I’m 10 years younger than Joe…and if you have listened to idiot boy lately, you know he’s barely lucid most of the time…but do you ever read that the media is “concerned” about the idiot when he stands in front of his fascist followers and makes no sense at all?
