Well…the ruling in the idiot trump’s fraud trial is in and it’s going to leave a mark…idiot boy himself has to pay 355 million dollars for his fine and is barred from doing business in NY for 3 years…each one of his demon spawn boys have been ordered to pay 4 million dollars in fines each with the same business ban…oh, and here’s a nice part…idiot boy will have to post a bond of the whole amount if he wants to appeal the ruling and he doesn’t have that kind of cash so he’ll have to sell off some of his tacky golf clubs or hotels to either pay the bond or the fine…just think, if he wouldn’t have tried to kill this country by running for president, he would still be grifting along…I just can’t wait for the ketchup covered response on his failed SM site…should be glorious…
Not a busy day…
Well…after my busy Thursday, I made plans to make today a recovery day and I’ve been able to do it…yay! I did get two rides in this morning and made potato soup for lunch to use up the bacon I found in the freezer earlier in the week…I sure like that recipe that I now have memorized and didn’t have to look it up so that’s cool…taking the rest of the day off and will probably read some in a bit before I make a roast beef sandwich with swiss cheese and horseradish sauce…just like an Arby’s…I think I’ll even heat it for tonight…tomorrow will be chicken masala again to use up the last of the chicken breast I took out of the freezer…and then I’ll have food until mid week of next week and then I’ll start eating the food I got from DD this week…time to read…
Ha, the repubs star witness against the Bidens arrested..
Well… the breathless attacks on Joe and Hunter Biden for taking bribes by fox news has gone eerily silent today…I wonder why that would be? Oh, yeah…the repubs star witness was just arrested for fabricating the whole thing…and that was the only bit of “evidence” that they had of any wrongdoing by the Bidens…so I wonder what they are going to use to drive the impeachment “investigation” forward now? I know they don’t need any evidence since they never had any since Biden was elected but that didn’t stop idiots like Hannity doing hundred of programs about this exact story…or james comer going on tv almost daily to call the Bidens corrupt and that he has evidence of it but then he never shows it…now if I were Hunter Biden, I would file a suit against fox news for knowingly lying about him and make Hannity the center of it…I wonder if they can afford another 800 million dollar payout? Hope not…geez…
February 16th
Well…damn, I’m sore this morning but it feels good I have the car fixed…slept okay last night but was up at 3 and then out of bed at a little after 6…I am going to have an easier day today with just the rides and a workout with the weights…I should make some potato soup or some chicken masala today but I may wait til tomorrow for that…have some of the bacon I thawed left after making blt’s the past couple of days that will go in the soup…I have some breaded chicken tenderloins I got from DD that I want to have with onion rings…and I am going to make a pizza next week to use the pepperoni that is filling up my freezer…have to remember to stop buying so much food…it’s going to be cold today but a warm up is coming next week and I hope it will clear the trails so I can get an outdoor ride in every day…need to get to 1K before the end of the month for a new record but I’m still behind to get to 7K for the year…going to be doing lots of 45 mile rides this spring/summer if I’m going to get there…not much to do today…I need a rest so I’m not going to press it…just two rides and maybe some cooking…and reading since I have two books going and another one to start…I’m really enjoying getting back to having books going….more later…
The problem with so many charges…
Well…as he has done his entire life, the idiot trump is trying to delay all of his trials with his claim of “absolute immunity” now at the supreme court after the DC appeals court voted unanimously that there is no such thing…so that will delay the Jack Smith trial on his attempt to overthrow the government…so what does the judge in the NY criminal fraud trial do? He says that now it’s fine if that trial starts in March since the delay in DC cleared idiot boy’s calendar…and that’s the problem with trying to delay everything when you have so may trials that are up…what happens to one effects the others so on March 24th idiot boy has to be in NYC for the fraud trial…and that made me laugh…he is going to be convicted since this is the hush money to Stormy Daniels trial and his signature is on the checks…here we go…geez..
Man, that was a pain…
Well…as you know, I got the new brakes for the back of the car yesterday with plans to install new ones on the side that failed and I thought things were going to go okay when the caliper retractor started to turn…but, it didn’t pull it back all the way so after turning it for ages…I got out my c clamp and pushed the piston back enough to get the caliper on the new pads…they had so much paint on the new pads that they wouldn’t fit over the slides…so I had to get my angle grinder out and take the paint off so I could install the pads…what a pain…but the car is back together and it will sit until Monday or so with the 8 inches of snow we got here and then I’ll take it out for a test run…at least I know it’s not going to grind and now I can relax and watch the races from Daytona tonight….
February 15th
Well…darn, got 6 inches of snow out here and it’s still snowing hard so there will be shoveling later…I did get the brake pads for the car and am going to try to get the pad retracting screw loose after the bike rides today…if that comes loose, it’s an easy job…maybe 15 minutes to put the new pads in…I guess I’ll see…I did get an outdoor ride in yesterday but it looks like I won’t be back out there until late next week when the temp get back in the mid 40’s…only have 150 miles to go to get to 1,000 and should be there by the end of the month…and that will be the earliest I’ve gotten to 1K…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but the grocery runs where I got some bargains…I mean 5 pounds of pepperoni for 7 bucks? It’s normally 1.50 for three ounces but I’m not sure how I’m going to use 5 lbs…need to break it down into smaller bags as I do with the chicken tenderloins I got for 7 bucks…should have some of them with the o-rings I got in the next few days…not much to do today…just the rides, shoveling and working on the car…so happy I got the pads last night so I’ll have a dry car to work on…more later…
Decision coming Friday…
Well…the judge in the idiot trump’s civil trial has set Friday as the day he will deliver the decision on how huge the fine is going to be…the floor is set at 250 million and speculation has been all over the map for the top…maybe up to half a billion dollars and taking away his licenses to run any business in NY permanently…I really can’t wait to see what the judge has to say since he already said that trump family and Weisselberg committed long term business fraud by manipulating the worth of his properties and Weisselberg is trying to make a deal with the prosecutors in NY since he committed perjury at the trial saying he didn’t have anything to do with the evaluation of idiot boy’s apartment when e-mails have surfaced that he was right in the middle of those lies…and further forensic accounting details have been reported that the idiot stole almost 170 million dollars from the banks by their fraud…so, it’s not going to be a good day for trump Friday…and after losing 90 million dollars to E. Jean Carroll, I don’t think he can cover the fine that’s coming without selling off a big chunk of his assets…and all of them are leveraged to the hilt so the proceeds will probably be around 10 cents on the dollar and I wonder if he can even cover the fine? Sure hope not…seeing him broke will be wonderful…geez…
Old cars…
Well…one drawback of continuing to drive a 30 year old car is that the parts store don’t have anything in stock anymore for the Miata…luckily, they still have them and I should get them later today…but the pad release screw is not coming out so I soaked it in wd and I hope it doesn’t need a new caliper…one good thing that happened is I found the set of keys I’ve been looking for almost a year…they were in the pocket of the work coat that I must have had on the last time I worked on the car…and that one had my Statue of Liberty key chain I got when my daughter and I did the tour of the statue….
February 14th
Well..damn, up at three today and out of bed at 5:30 and I only have 15 minutes before I have to get on the bike to get a ride in before the grocery run…I am just so worn out that it’s going to be a chore to get moving…just poured the first cup of coffee and need to choke that down for some energy before I get going…I think I may have figured out why the car has been leaking coolant…the overflow tube to the tank was plugged up so it was getting over pressure…at least I hope I’ve fixed it…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I’m hoping to get outdoors on the bike today…we are supposed to get rain/snow/sleet tonight with maybe 3- 4 inches of that stuff but it won’t stay around long…I hope…have to hit DD today since I have more to get there than anyplace else…how can you pass up 5 pounds of pepperoni for 7 bucks or two pounds of onion rings for 4 bucks? Damn, only 5 minutes to get on the bike…and I’m not ready for that…not much to do today…I did find three pounds of bacon in the freezer so I took one out for blt’s since I have lettuce and tomatoes in the fridge…and I’m going to fill the freezer again today with food that is bad for me…yay!
