Well…with the discovery of even more fraud by the idiot trump that was discovered by the court appointed overseer in place to keep idiot boy from hiding his assets, I think the judge in trump’s fraud case is going to nuke him…3-400 million dollar fine and banning him and his kids from ever doing business in NY again, and they are going close the trump org to sell off his assets…and that was before he lost almost 90 million dollars to E. Jean Carroll…so, sometime this week the nukes will start to fall on idiot boy’s head and there is not a damn thing he can do about it…and this is before the criminal trials start later in the year…he could finally be silenced…oh, and he attacked Carroll again so there may be another defamation trial, too…if it sounds like I’m gloating you are right…this asshole has been polluting this country far too long…geez…
January 29th
Well…that sucked…the Lions lost and didn’t get to the super bowl and I didn’t sleep and woke up at 4:40…but I did stay in bed until after 6 and just poured the first cup of coffee that I need to work right now…it was a little busy yesterday and I am going to end my healthy eating for a few days by grilling some burgers and brats today that will last me the rest of the week…have two days of soup left and I wonder if I should buy some chicken thighs this week…I guess I’ll have to look in the freezer to see what’s there before I do…got lots of exercise yesterday and I am going to try to do the same today but that means getting on the bike in less than an hour…this warm weather is going to last through the 12th of this month and that puts us only two weeks from March and the start of the permanent warm up for spring…all of the snow on my yard will be gone by the end of the week and I’m going to have to start feeding the squirrels again…they have been more active with the warm up and have taken the bread I threw out there…not much to do today…just the rides, weight work, and grilling…and I need to watch the FA cup match this aft since Wrexham is playing….more later…
Got an outdoor ride in…
Well…after the Daytona 24 hours ended, it was only 1:45 and 40 degrees so I decided to suit up and get an outdoor ride in…first was a ride down the hill to take a look at the trail and see if it was passable but there was still so much snow on it I couldn’t tell where the trail was…but the roads were clean and dry so I did a couple of laps around the city and got 10 miles in…absolutely no traffic at all and only a few people out so it was nice…I think I’m going to add an outdoor ride to go with the indoor rides since I need to start pouring on the miles if I’m going to hit the goal of 7,000 for the year…already have over 400 miles for the month but that isn’t going to do it…I need 600 miles a month to do it and I’m already behind by 200 miles…but I’ve ridden every day this year and I wonder if I can get to my record of 186 days in a row? I guess we’ll see….go Lions!
January 28th
Well…damn, I feel like crap this morning and I think it may be not eating enough…only had two bowls of soup yesterday but I feel so fat that I may cut that back to one today….I really could use a day off the bike today but I may just delay until 9 or so…still thinking about getting outside on the bike today since it’s almost 40 but I don’t want to think about anything right now….didn’t get anything done yesterday and I wonder why I feel that I have to do something every day? Haven’t take a day off of everything in a long while and lying on the couch and watching the race is pretty attractive to me….and eating whatever I want….I wonder if I have anything in the freezer to cook on the grill? The doves disappeared yesterday with only 3 of them on the feeder all day and I wonder if it’s the warmer weather? Only had to fill it once yesterday and it’s still full right now…okay, it’s still dark but it was full when I closed the blinds last evening…not much to do today…it’s 6:46 and I have an hour or so before the bike rides start but I don’t want to start them…just so damn tired….more later….
Holy crap! Bare spots on the lawn…
Well…just looked at the yard and was really surprised to see some bare spots appearing…we have lost almost 2/3rds of the snow out here since last Wed when the warm up started and I buried the car in 10 inches of slush in the alley…and the alley is clear right down to the dirt and I hope it stays that way…and it looks like the snow will all be gone by the end of next week since the high temps are going to stay near 40 until the 10th of Feb…and I’ll take that all winter…I will be riding outdoors a bit if it dries up some…won’t be on the trails but I can use the bike lanes on the street or just ride in the streets without them…will be nice to get outside and put some miles in to add to the 400+ indoor miles I’ve done this month…we’ll see…

Well…the dumber than a box of rocks trump just found out the cost of him attacking E. Jean Carroll (who he sexually assaulted) for a second time…the first time it cost him 5 million dollars…and this time it cost him 83 million dollars…and you and I know that this won’t be the last time…he can’t help himself and is going to continue to run his big mouth until they take away all of his money if he still has any after the 300+ million he is going to have to pay in his business fraud trial that ended yesterday…finally, he is starting to be held accountable for being the worst asshole on the face of the Earth…and we haven’t even seen his criminal trials yet that really do look like slam dunks that will land him in jail for the rest of his life…I can’t wait for the day when we won’t have to have his toxic bullshit polluting this country…okay, I need to read some news…
January 27th
Well…up at 6:05 this morning and that always makes me think of the SD song “Glamour Profession”….slept okay last night but sure don’t feel like it and I hope the coffee starts to work soon…have had back/hip pain for a couple of weeks now and it is getting really old as is all the pain I feel every day….man, I’m feeling old today…but I’m also feeling lucky to have this place and everything I need when so many people of my age are struggling….and there is something wrong with that….got a bunch of cleaning done yesterday but I’m not sure how much I’ll do today with the 24 hours of Daytona on starting around 1…it will be good background noise for whatever I do and there is a Barrett-Jackson auction on, too…so lots of car stuff today…and soccer….but I need to get on the bike in less than an hour and I really don’t feel like it…but I’ve been on the bike every day so far this year and have over 400 miles in and need to keep it up…do I try to get to my record of 186 days in a row on the bike? There are people on Mastodon who have over 1,000 days in a row on their bikes and that is something I’ll never be able to beat….more later…
The alley is almost all melted…
Well…just went out and filled the bird feeder and decided to take a look at the alley and it looks like it will be all melted by the next time I have to go out for the grocery run next Wed…it has two tracks of bare ground and it is raining out here right now so the snow is going away pretty fast…and the weather is going to stay this warm until at least the 9th of Feb and I may even be able to ride outdoors next week…won’t be able to ride on the trails but I can ride around on the roads and get a few miles in….I did get a bunch of work done today with finally getting to the living room…tore the couch apart to clean it and rotate the cushions to even out the wear, then I cleaned the tv stand and tv, vacuumed the rug and cleaned the wood floors and vacuumed the rug in my room and got rid of the cobwebs everywhere…just had the tiniest Nuthatch on the feeder…the thing is only about half the size of a Chickadee….this is kind of funny…when I went out to do the final filling of the feeder last night, I counted 32 Doves sitting in one of my trees…reminded me of a scene from “The Birds” and now I know where all the food is going…
Is there any law they didn’t break?
Well…damn, when idiot boy was squatting in the WH, was there any law they didn’t break? Just the other day it was revealed that the WH pharmacy was just a candy store to trump and his minions to the tune of 150,000 dollars…and that included idiot boys favorite adderall, along with valium, oxycontin, and every other drug you can think of…and most of it was dispensed without following procedures or the law that governs pharmacies across the country…but, did we expect anything else from the guy who is under 91 felony charges? Now, Merrick Garland, what the hell are you going to do abut it? Nothing I’m sure….I’m sure there is video of the people coming in and out all day long and this could be an easy case to bring…so get on it….geez…
January 26th
Well…damn, slept through the night last night until 5 this morning…the rolled over and stayed in bed til 6 and I’ll take that any day…and I feel a sense of peace this morning with not having anything to do but the bike rides today…so I’m going to enjoy that as I have my first cup of coffee and contemplate what my day is going to look like…don’t have to cook today with making the potato soup yesterday but I do have to think about what I’m going to make next week…but there is no urgency to it and I have a couple of days to decide….I’m pretty beat up from chopping ice the past few days and my right shoulder is screaming at me right now so I may have to take something for it even though I don’t like to…when I went out to do the last fill on the bird feeder yesterday I counted 32 doves in one tree in my yard and now I know why I’ve been using so much food…and they were slugging it out on the feeder…much more aggressive than normal…I really do need to clean a bit around here today to make sure I have at least a little accomplishment to keep my guilts away…not much to do today…have an hour or so before I have to get on the bike and I don’tthink I’m going to use that time productively….more later…
