Well…after the second ride this morning, I was sorely tempted to go out to the beach today but I have other things to do so I didn’t and I didn’t have any beer cold anyway…finally starting to feel better than I did this morning but I am still pretty damn worn out and that had something to do with me not going to the beach…just didn’t want to make the effort so I probably won’t get much done, either, but that’s okay….don’t think I ate enough yesterday with just a small bean burrito and three tacos but I will try to do better today…have already had 6 onion rings and a small pork chop and will have a couple of tomatoes in a bit and then three tacos again…and that should be enough….more later…

Well…damn, why the hell isn’t the idiot trump in jail? With the revelations yesterday that he stole detailed nuclear capabilities of foreign powers as part of his crime spree, he should be arrested today an held without bail…these are secrets that are so closely held that maybe 5 people in the whole country has seen them and yet DOJ allows him to walk around freely with how many damn copies is anyone’s guess…but we don’t have to guess what he took them for…it was to blackmail foreign powers to monetize his thievery…how much would a foreign power pay to keep this stuff secret? Billions? We can see how much this info is worth by the 2 billion dollars that was given to Jared Kushner as an “investment” after trump lost the election and they were looting everything they could get their hands on. If they don’t move against idiot boy soon, you can say goodbye to the rule of law in this country…as evidenced by the idiot judge that gave him a get out of jail free card the other day…this crap has to stop….geez…
September 7th
Well…the change of seasons is getting pretty real since it’s almost 7 and it’s still too dark to get on the bike…I am looking forward to the fall…it used to be my favorite season with the cooler temps and the trees changing color and I wonder how that changed? It could be that I got older and started to run out of years so each passing one reminds me of my mortality…but I am going to enjoy this one and take some color tours with the top down on the car…I remember doing one in my Fiat when there were Northern lights happening and it was so cool to just look up and see it with the cool, crisp air in the car…..going to try to not hurry today since I don’t have to and I need to decide if I want to hit save a lot and buy 10 pounds of ribs for 11 bucks….or 10 pounds of leg quarters for 7.90…..leaning toward the ribs but they are bad for me and shouldn’t eat them….hmmmm…I did give away some of the tomatoes yesterday when my neighbor yelled to me “you have any of those tomatoes left?” and I filled a bag to give to him and stood around listening to his stories for a hour or so…glad I could do that since it’s why I grow them….not much to do today…it’s 7:06 and I need to get out on the bike by 7:30 to get the day started….but I don’t really have anything else to do other than the grocery run….still haven’t started on the dining room and should get on that but still have no motivation so I probably won’t…who knows? A few things…
Well…yeah, running late again today and it’s for a reason this time…did both bike rides and took out half the garden, then mowed the lawn so that makes me a little late…and I don’t have one big topic for this afternoon so I think I’ll talk about a few things instead…a little noticed thing happened in Arizona today that needs to happen across the country…a judge there removed a county commissioner for his role in the January 6th attack making the precedent that yes, the attack was an insurrection and ruled that the 14th amendment allows for the removal of any elected official who was part of it…now I hope that this is not the last one…now do Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley and all of the rest of the repubs who voted to overturn the election…they are just as guilty as those who did the actual attack. One thing that has made me laugh after the primaries is how all the repubs are scrubbing their websites of any mention of the idiot trump or the Dobbs decision against women’s rights and are trying to make themselves un-maga…but, and in this day and age I wonder how they are so stupid to think that because they change their sites the old information goes away…but it doesn’t, their are cached files all over the internet of what the sites used to look like and any dem with a little bit of knowledge can find them to use in attack ads against these morons….just so stupid but perfectly descriptive of the modern repubs…geez…
September 6th
Well…okay, I wonder if there is a jump starter for the human body? Sure feel like I need one today with waking up at around 5 but not getting out of bed until after 7….and it’s now 7:54 and I need to get on the bike in 6 minutes and I really, really don’t want to…took the day off yesterday other than riding and can’t do that again today….had tomatoes out on my chair all day yesterday with no takers so I need to eat a bunch of them over the next week or just toss them out….maybe I’ll just eat tomatoes for a couple of days but that is not enough calories….damn, I’m tired of thinking all the time…I wonder when I can just be instead of planning and riding and counting calories? I’m so tired of all this crap…..and even doing this…I’ve done over 10,000 of these since I started and is it from habit or for some other reason? Yeah, you can hear that I’m having an existential crises this morning and why is echoing through my head….oh, well…not much to do today…I’m going to drag myself out by 8:30 and I should take the garden down and get it out to the trash tomorrow….but they probably won’t pick it up so I’ll have to drag it back to the garage and I don’t want to do that….crap…it’s going to be one of those days…..more later,,,
Every trump judge is corrupt…
Well…with the ruling today from a judge appointed by trump after he lost the election that the investigation into his theft of secret government documents has to stop until a “special master” reviews the documents, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that all of the trump appointed judges are corrupt….just like the supreme court making up rulings that are entirely based on the outcome they want and not the law, this judge, who doesn’t even have the authority to take this case, has ruled not on the law since there is no law that would support the judge shopping the trump’s lawyers did, but again on the outcome that she wanted…and that was to do everything in her power to help trump out….even though her ruling has been panned as nonsensical by every real lawyer that has commented on it…it still has the force of law until it is appealed and overturned…so what the DOJ needs to do is charge trump now so this ruling will be moot and she can’t meddle in this case again…and then when we take the house and senate in the fall…this judge needs to be impeached and removed since she has proven with this ruling that she is not fit to have this lifetime appointment….get moving, Garland…lock him up…
Going to work outside instead…
Well….after looking at the garden and the other work I have to do, I think I’ll work outside today…I did pick almost all of the tomatoes and have them sitting on my chair out front with a free sign on them and I hope someone takes some since I am getting all tomoatoed out and just don’t want to eat them anymore….I think I’ll wait to mow the lawn til tomorrow, though, since it really can go another day or maybe even Wed….and I do need to find a topic for later but there just isn’t anything in the news that grabs me right now…so I guess we’ll see….more later…
September 5th
Well…didn’t get out of bed until 6:35 this morning and that should mean that I feel okay but I don’t…still feel pretty worn out and I hope that is not the new normal for me….I know I’m getting old and that feeling crappy is inevitable but I have too much to do around here to let that control me….man, I would just love to have a day off and just screw around and I used to know how to do that when I was younger…oh, well…had an okay day yesterday but didn’t get anything done…I am going to get on the dining room today and start prepping it for paint…need to take the shades down from the windows and put some paper over them so I can start sanding and filling them….and I need to start working on the door frames, too…I sure hope that the filler I have downstairs is still good or I’ll have to run out to depot and I don’t want to…I do need to get on the bike for two rides today and would like to start by 8….but right now all I want to do is have more coffee and sit here for a bit….there are live drag races on all afternoon so that will give me the background noise I need to get some work done….I really should clean some, too, but we’ll see about that….don’t want to overdo it….more later…
Boycott CNN…
Well…with the new guy running CNN, they have gone from a somewhat objective news organization to competing with fox news for the right wing asshole viewership…and they have started to fire all of the good journalists that worked there and are replacing them with fox retreads…and from the ratings, they are shedding viewers at a rapid pace and I think this move will cost them the 40 years of good will that they got by being a news organization….and the last thing we need is more right wing bullshit on the tv…I guess they are too stupid to understand that the maga crowd is maybe 25% of the country and they are giving up the rest of the country to appeal to those morons…and look, they are never going to leave fox news for fox news light…for most of them, even fox news is not fascist enough…so, boycott CNN, I know I’ll never watch it again…hey, I did get a political one in today…yay me….
Got two rides in…
Well…yeah, if I don’t have a political one done by this time of the day, I probably won’t do one…but who knows? I did get two rides in but the first one was so brutal with how I felt and went out so early in a vicious wind that I was sure I wasn’t going to be able to do the second one…but, after watching the F1 race and then watching Man U beat Arsenal…yeah, I’m in shock, too…that buoyed my spirits enough that I suited up and went back out and the second ride was much better even though it was still pretty windy…but, I feel like crap right now after making way too much food for dinner…haven’t eaten like that in years but all I had was a bean burrito and 6 chips loaded up with two tomatoes, lettuce and onions so I guess there was a lot of no calorie stuff on it…but I won’t need to eat again until tomorrow night….there was a huge new cruise ship down at the landing today that had a French name so I’m guessing it came out of Quebec…very modern looking dark blue and streamlined…and it was there all day….okay, that’s about all I wanted to say right now…the nascar race is starting and I need another glass of water….
