Well…had a pretty good day today with getting this place running again and having a little dustup with one of my sons…but we fixed that and aired out a bunch of stuff…and I found out who has been pressuring my son to cut off contact with me..and we have tentative plans to meet my granddaughter when my son has some vacation in November…so that worked out but I’ll believe it when I’m in front of her…skipped the weight work today since I didn’t feel like it but I still may do it after I read a bit…saw a big group of 15 turkeys along the trail this morning and they were pretty funny as were the deer I saw…okay, time for some reading…
Doubling drug prices…
Well…as we listen to the “profoundly stupid” trump talk about drug prices and promise to cut them by “1,000 percent”, which is a mathematic impossibility…you can’t lower anything more than 100%…and then idiot boy raises tariffs to 100% on all imported drugs…essentially doubling drug costs on October 1st since 60% of all drugs consumed here are from foreign countries…so that prescription you bitched about at 75 bucks is now going to cost 150 bucks and there are some people that will be making the hard decision between eating and taking necessary medicines…and that is all because of the stupid maga voters electing this moron a 2nd time…here comes more inflation…geez…
Trump’s suit against the NYT thrown out…
Well…this is what happens when an idiot has idiot lawyers file a suit for him…they tried to sue the NYT for 15 billion dollars but the judge took one look at it and called it legally improper puffery” and included non stop grievances and did not meet any standards for federal court…so they filed this 85 page piece of shit in the courtroom of a trump appointed judge and he immediately threw it out…and that comes in a week that idiot boy’s speech an the UN was panned by leaders across the world as “unhinged” and “crazed”…really helping our standing in the world…oh, and Disney reversed their cancelling of Jimmy Kimmells show so there must have been a semi truck worth of ketchup on the WH walls…geez…
September 28th
Well…still haven’t figured out what happened to the font to make it so small but I’ll soldier on as best I can…man, it’s been hard to not do these for the past couple of weeks but now I’ll have to get back up to speed…have had a good week this week with getting the rides in every day and then going over 7,000 miles for the year today…so that means I should get to 8K for the year by the end of it…nothing much else has happened really…just normal days of reading and taking it easy…I did talk to my son today and blasted at him a bit…but we settled that and it looks like I’ll be heading over there in November to meet my granddaughter and I’m pretty geeked about that…and I like the effort he’s made to stay in contact with me as his mother and brother keep putting heat on him to not talk to me anymore…and with him having a toddler and a disabled wife I think he’s working his butt off just to stay above water…so I’ll be back in a bit to do more of these…won’t get caught up for the month but I’ll end the month on the upswing…

Done for the day…
Well…it’s noon and I think I’m done for the day…got the rides in, hit the library, and fed what remains of my lawn since it’s forecast to rain tomorrow…ha,ha…the rides were great with no wind and I did take an ibuprofen since both thighs have been aching and they still do but it’s better…will get to 4,000 outdoor miles tomorrow and with the 2,620 indoor miles I’m probably going to get to around 8,000 miles for the year and that’s without any goals or 100 mile days..not bad for an old guy…and that will get me over 30,000 miles since I moved out here…it’s going to get up to 80 for a few days next week and I think that will be the last gasp for warm weather for the year and I don’t mind that…fall has always been my favorite season and I’m looking forward to that a bit…okay, time to read…
Violence is caused by the right..
Well…look, I never cheer when anyone dies, but I would make an exception if the idiot trump fell over today..after the right wing asshole kirk was murdered this week, the media fell all over themselves trying to both sides political violence and that is a lie…every violent political attack has been done by right wing assholes spurred on by the idiot trump’s threats against dems almost every day…what the hell did they expect? Idiot boy murdered 11 men last week and as the right wing crazies howl for more of that against their perceived enemies, kirk was right there at the front of the line demonizing everyone who is not a straight white man…and now they are whitewashing his hate speech that he constantly spewed…so no, kirk was not a hero or a truth teller as the right would have everyone believe…he was a right wing bigot who made a living off hate speech…and don’t let anyone tell you anything different…that said, he didn’t deserve to be murdered…no one does…geez…
September 12th
Well…it’s nice having this thing working this morning so I can get my day started right…slept okay last night and didn’t get out of be til after 6 and that has become a pattern that I don’t mind…only up once overnight and that is a far cry from what was going on before with getting up 4 or 5 times…pretty sore today and I may take an ibuprofen before I get on the bike…not sure why that would be but my thighs are burning as they have been for a couple of days…oh, well…I do need to hit the library after the rides today since I’m down to the last book and don’t want to run out over the weekend…I do need to feed the lawn for the last time this year today since it’s going to rain tomorrow and I would really like to get the lawn to green up some…and I need to bundle the branches I cut off the trees to put them out Tuesday…I had this thought with my debit card expiring next month…why the hell do they have to expire? I mean it’s just a way to access my checking account and it’s not like anything changes…just a pain in the butt…not much to do today…just a normal Friday that I need to get moving soon…more later…
Tried the burgers…
Well…wanted something easy for dinner today so I gave the burgers I got from DD a try…they are pretty darn good and, since they are fully cooked, it only took 50 seconds in the microwave to get it hot so that works out really well…not sure how my body is going to react to the first beef in a couple of years but it should be okay…the big blue cruise ship was back again this morning for the third time in 10 days…and I saw them unload and load the tender they use to get people to shore when the ship is not at the dock…it fits in a tunnel at the back of the boat…pretty cool…I did get the 3rd book read just a few minutes ago so I can go to the library and get three more tomorrow so I’ll not run out over the weekend…didn’t do much else today other than ride and now the ARCA race from Bristol is on and then the truck race is on right after that…I still like to watch Bristol so I won’t burn any of the good shows I have left on plex…
The boat had turned around…
Well…as we hear more about the murders of 11 people by the idiot trump, it just keeps getting worse…idiot boy justified it by saying they we killed because they were “attacking” the US…a flimsy excuse that has fallen apart over the past 24 hours when the NYT reported that the boat had turned around and was heading back to Venezuela before it was attacked…and high ranking military lawyers have said that any “threat” that could be argued evaporated once the boat turned around…so this attack needs to be called what it is…the deliberate murder of 11 people by the idiot and anyone who was involved should go to jail including the pilots who bombed the boat…geez…
