Well…I’m not sure how it happened but I’m back to getting out of bed at 5:14 again and that is way too damn early…I know it helps me get my day going but having my first cup of coffee before 5:30am seems a little weird to me…so I’ll be on the bike before 6am and I could even get two rides in before I head out to the grocery run but I’m not going to do that…want to get an outdoor ride in to take a look at the trails to see if they are passable…if they are, it will be the earliest in the 5 years I’ve lived out here…need to do some meal planning today but I am picking up some smoked turkey so there will be sandwiches for the next few days…need to get some food out of the freezer but I’m not sure what that will be yet…a little tired of pizza but I still have 4 in there so I’ll probably use one this weekend…it’s going to rain a ton over the next few days so the snow will all be gone but, with the 30’s that are coming, we could get more next week…ick…not much to do today…just the normal stuff and grocery runs…and maybe some cleaning…more later…
Got some cleaning done…
Well…finished up the last book this morning so I had time to do some cleaning and that felt good so I think I’m going to wean myself off books for a while…but I am going to pick up a few more tomorrow but not 8 like I got last week..going to do a wander in the stacks tomorrow to try to find new authors who look interesting…my BP machine has been throwing error messages so I think I may need a new one…and it’s reading about 10 points higher than it used to and I’m not doing anything different…or I guess I could just stop taking my BP since we do have the meds figured out…going to hit DD to get some sliced smoked turkey they have on sale for 4 bucks for 2 1/2 pounds and I have lettuce and tomatoes so I can make sandwiches with it…looks like I’ll be able to ride outdoors tomorrow with the high getting to 50 or so then we have a short stint of warm weather and then it freezes again on the 12th with temps in the 30’s…ick…oh, well…that’s March in Michigan…

Well…I really don’t think the idiot trump even knows what obliterated means…he used that term when he bombed Iran’s nuclear program in his first term…but now that “obliterated” program magically restored itself and it is the new reason that Iran was attacked last week…what it it asshole? Did you lie to us then or are you lying now…of course both can be true since all that moron knows how to do is lie….and yet the repubs who control congress don’t care, they are perfectly happy to cede their constitutional power to the idiot and then sit there cheering when he spends hundreds of billions of dollars as they starve people in this country…the founders gave the power to declare war to the congress just so one unhinged moron couldn’t do just what idiot boy is doing…war is supposed to be debated and declared by the people’s representatives to give the people the power to stop this crap…and the polls show that 75% of Americans didn’t want this war…and the repubs will pay for it in November…geez…
March 3rd
Well…up a little before 5 this morning and I went straight out on the porch to look for the lunar eclipse but it’s cloudy here so I didn’t see much of it…slept okay but feel pretty worn out this morning and it’s going to be tough getting going this morning…and, while it warms up this week, then it goes down into the 20’s for a week and that sucks…didn’t eat much yesterday but I need to do better today…so, I’ll have a bagel before I get on the bike here in a few minutes and lots more coffee…didn’t get much done yesterday but wash the car but I do need to get the grocery list ready for the run tomorrow even though I don’t need much other than milk…going to do the breakfast for lunch thing again today…have been having trouble with my BP the past couple of days and I may have to make a doctor appointment…I couldn’t get under 140 yesterday and that’s way too high…not much to do today…just need to get started on the weight work now and then grit my teeth and get the rides in…more later…
Washed the car…
Well…after I got the normal stuff done early today and finished up the 2nd ride a little after 8 so then I decided to drag my butt out in the cold and wash the car…the only problem was that it was only 13 degrees and the car turned into a block of ice and I couldn’t get all the soap off of it…oh, well…I did get the last of the sub 3 buck gas today but we won’t see that price again this year after the idiot’s stupid war…only did one meal today of two slices of pizza and no bagel for breakfast…so that is about 700 calories for the day and I can live with that…will have to plan meals for the rest of the week and get some food out of the freezer…but I can do that tomorrow since I have one more day of leftovers to have…got my new BP cuff a few minutes ago and I’m going to try it out and then go back to reading for a bit…
No money for food but plenty for war…
Well…I just hate the repubs…they in one breath that we can’t afford to feed people so they cut food benefits, then they burn through billions of dollars in the idiot trump’s stupid war where 3 of our fighters were shot down…and those are 100 million dollars each along with 500 tomahawk missiles at 10 million dollars each for a round 500 million dollars…so in the first two days we’re in for over 2 billion dollars and this is going to go on for weeks so, by the time it’s done, idiot boy will have spent well over 100 billion dollars…more than double it would take to restore the Medicaid and SNAP cuts that the repubs made last year…and no one in this country wanted this war with only 27% of those polled saying they agree with it….so we need to turn this into a landslide in the November election and we need to control the house so this bullshit war is not repeated…this is an impeachable offense…the idiot has no power to do this crap in the constitution…and we need to hold him accountable…geez…

Well…darn, back to getting out of bed by 5:14 again and that just sucks…but I feel okay so I guess that’s something…need to get off my butt and get going by 6am so I can get two rides in before I take the car to wash it around 9am…the stupid trump war has raised gas prices by 45 cents a gallon so now I guess 3-4 bucks a gallon is the new normal and it’s just another tax that asshole has put on the country…and who benefits? Yep, the Saudis and his cronies in the oil industry…I can’t wait to see the inflation numbers after that…I’m sure it’s going to be 6-7% for this month…nice job, maga…you did this to us…okay back to life…took an easy day for the second one in a row yesterday but it’s not going to be 3…in 14 minutes I’ll be on the weight work and then the rides…my BP cuff sprung a leak yesterday so I had to spend 10 bucks to order a new one…need to plan some meals in a few days but I have leftovers for the next two and I really do need to eat out of the freezer for a couple of weeks…more later…
An easy Sunday…
Well…It really wasn’t much of a plan but today has turned out to be a pretty easy Sunday…only did one ride today and I didn’t even go out to shovel the 3 inches of snow we got overnight…I’m done with shoveling this year until November and I’m going to just let it melt since it’s sunny out here…the sports for the day started out good with Man U winning their 9am game and then watching some MotoGP, and now indycar until the Nascar race comes on at 3:30…and there will be reading in between…just remembered I took a half pound of bacon out of the freezer so I think I’ll have breakfast for dinner to go with the bowl of soup I had for lunch….okay time to post at Mastodon and then back to reading…

Well…You probably haven’t heard this story yet but I just have to do one of these about the abject evil of the ICE thugs who are terrorizing this country…just a couple of weeks ago, ICE picked up a blind Rohingya refugee from Burma who spoke no english…once they determined they had no basis to deport him they dumped him in a parking lot in the cold 5 miles from his house and without notifying the family…he died trying to find his way home and the reaction of ICE is just a shoulder shrug and a smirk from the spokesman…these people are just evil and they better figure out that with the change coming in November, they will be held accountable for this and every other incident where their actions have caused harm..and a bunch of them are going to end up in jail…geez…
March 1st
Well…that kinda sucked…up and down all night and woke up for good at 5:14 but I tried to sleep more but gave up at 5:44…feel pretty worn out but need to get off my butt and get moving now to get the rides in before Man U plays at 9am…not sure if I’ll have a bagel for breakfast but I probably should so that means I need to get the teeth in now and get on the weights by 6:30…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks the same with soccer and two races on starting at noon…and I have a book to finish so it will be a nice relaxing day…okay, not really with needing to get two rides in before 9 and that is pretty stressful…and it snowed overnight and again I think Michigan is just screwing with us…we made it to March and it’s supposed to be warming up and it looks like it’s going to but then it’s going to crash back into the 30’s by the middle of the month…ick…only 17 degrees out there right now and I am just so damn tired of the cold…more later…
