Well…I have been looking for a political topic to write about and even started thinking about it on the bike but I just can’t get anything to solidify…so maybe a few small things…first, the idiot trump has started his mass deportation scheme and I really wonder why his business buddies that depend on that cheap labor are staying silent? You think the price of housing is nuts now? Wait until idiot boy deports the 65% of the housing labor workforce…oh, and let’s not forget the 25% tariff on Canadian lumber that goes into effect on Monday at noon…almost half of all housing in the US is built with Canadian lumber…so you think we have a housing shortage now? Wait for the chaos that is going to start Monday…hell, my house could be worth a quarter of a million bucks by the end of the idiot’s term when he screws up the economy like he did last time…glad I’m not looking for a house now…geez…
January 16th
Well…man, I feel like crap this morning and I slept in til 6:50 and that makes me late for the whole day…it’s after 7 now and I should have been on the bike already but I guess I need to relax and take it as it comes…had some pretty severe pain in my lower left jaw last night that had me reaching for the ibuprofen but it seems better today…the swelling has gone down and no pain this morning so I’ll take it…we did get 4-5 inches of snow last night and I am happy that I don’t need to go anywhere for a week or so and I’ll just hunker down here for that time….I’m still grinning that I found the key ring yesterday…it was always nagging me that they were gone…little darn things make me happy…I did thaw some of the pulled pork I got yesterday so I’ll try that with some bullseye bbq sauce for lunch…hope it’s not terrible since it’s taking up space in the freezer…but I still need to figure out other things to cook…maybe some more potato soup…and I have some ham in the freezer I could put in it…hmmm…not much to do today…the bathroom has been calling to me that it needs cleaning and it may be the thing I do today…who knows…more later…
350 miles already…
Well…still working on days in a row of riding and two weeks into the new year of riding I’ve already done 350 miles…and that means a 700 mile month is possible and that leads to being able to ride over 8,000 miles this year…do I dare to try to beat my 10,449 mile record? I will have over 3K indoors before I can get back outdoors and I’m still thinking about rebuilding the driveline on the outdoor bike before I take it back outdoors…I have the parts here already but the bike was still working fine when I cleaned it up and put it away…so, I don’t think I’m riding outdoors in the slush this year…it’s just too damn comfortable to walk downstairs and not have to suit up to go outside…still so happy that I found the set of keys today…had looked everywhere and really thought I’d dropped them in the trash by accident…and they are a full set that unlocks every type of lock I have on the house…okay, still have some reading to do…

Well…I think it’s about time that we stop with the pretense that talking to the idiot trump is about the “office of the presidency” and not the orange ogre who will be infesting it soon…and Michelle Obama has taken the lead of not attending the inauguration and I think that everyone who is not a trump ass kisser should do the same…deprive him of the only thing he craves other than money…and that is the attention the he gets from squatting in the WH…I think this treatment started at President Carter’s funeral when President Obama was the only one to even talk to the idiot…everyone else ignored him as they should have…if I was the Carter family, I would have made it clear they didn’t want him there…and I think world leaders should do the same thing…isolate the US until the tumor is out of office…after all, what’s the point of talking to him? He is the dumbest person to ever sit in the WH and can’t bring one thought to any policy discussion…the thing that will kill him will be ignoring him…and it needs to start now…geez…
A good morning…
Well…it’s been such a good morning this morning and it has me smiling…started out with getting three rides in and then getting ready to head out to Meijers and DD…when I got my heavy woolen coat out to wear, I found the key ring and keys I have been looking for at least two years…on a space needle key ring that I bought at the space needle when I was out there for my daughter’s wedding…I thought it was lost and gone and now all three sets of keys are on key rings associated with her…she gave me a Mazda key ring, and I bought a Statue of Liberty one when I we took the tour of the statue and the rest of NY city….then out to DD to get some boneless/skinless chicken for 2 bucks a pound and 5 pounds of seasoned pulled pork for 8 bucks…glad I have enough room in the freezer now…then to Meijers for a few things and the prescriptions and laughed out loud again when the clerk told me the cost…1.20 for 90 days of two BP meds…one of them was free and the other was 1.20…so very cool…so now I don’t have to go out again for a couple of weeks…okay, need to have some lunch…more later…
January 15th
Well…it’s 6:45 and I’m already running late to get the things done I need to today…want to get three rides in and run an errand to pick up the new prescriptions and hit DD to pick up 5 pounds of pulled pork for 8 bucks…made enough room in the freezer over the past two weeks and it will come in handy to have some easy food…slept okay last night but I still feel pretty worn out as I always do until the coffee gets to work and I may even make some good coffee later…the weather is going to be pretty extreme over the next week with lots of snow and the high temp on Monday is going to be 6 degrees so I want to get everything done today so I can hunker down and wait it out…it’s supposed to be almost 40 tomorrow and then crash Friday…oh, well…didn’t get a darn thing done yesterday but I am going to clean the bathroom today…I made some whole wheat bread yesterday but it fell like a bad souffle and it is the strangest looking loaf I’ve ever seen….it tastes okay so I’ll have some of it with the Masala today….not much to do today…just need to get off my butt and get moving right now so I can get three rides in before I head out for the errands….more later…

Well…it’s almost 2:30 pm and I am finally done for the day and it’s been a busy one…got the three rides in, made Masala, worked on the car, and then shoveled the snow…and I was freezing after I finished and I couldn’t figure out why…and then I looked at the weather channel to find that it’s only 15 degrees out here and we are now under a winter weather advisory that lasts until 1am wed morning with the possibility of 5 more inches of snow…but it looks like the lake effect has set up just offshore so the snow is pretty light here but could change in an instant if it just moves inland…I did get the results of the blood work I had done yesterday and I normally get that from the mychart page but today they called me and that freaked me out a bit…but no problems with my kidneys or electrolyte levels and they still can’t believe that I have no health problems other than the high BP…I do have to get out tomorrow to pick up the new prescription but that won’t be til after I get three rides in…okay, time to make some bread…
The Smith report…
Well…with the idiot trump being elected last fall, it looks like he will never be held accountable for trying to overthrow the government…and Smith’s investigation and report showed without any doubt that he had the goods to convict idiot boy on all charges but the SC gave him a “get out of jail free” card with their ruling of limited immunity for a sitting president…but, since Smith proved that his actions on January 6th were in no way part of his legal duties, the evidence should be preserved and the idiot should be recharged as soon as he leaves office…I know that some of the pundits are saying that the idiot will commit more crimes this time since he is a criminal and we should just wait for those and then charge him again…and it we take the house back in two years, there will be at least one more impeachment and maybe even charging him in the ICC with war crimes he committed in his first term and will commit in this one…we need to restore the rule of law in this country to get ride of ogres like trump…geez…
January 14th
Well…I feel so damn small this morning…got an e-mail from the city commissioner that I whined to about the snow removal problems and she told me that she just lost her son and that’s why she didn’t get back to me sooner…I guess that puts my tiny little problem in perspective….and I really don’t know why I reacted so strongly to the snow…after all, I’m really good at driving in it after doing it for the past 56 years…and doing it on bald tires when I was younger….I will e-mail her back this morning with my condolences…okay, I just did that…but I don’t feel better…I know the world continues to spin but the loss of a child is terrible…it changed my brother when he lost AJ and he was never the same…okay, life goes on…damn, I slept okay last night with not getting up til after 5:30 and then out of bed a little after 6 and I need to get moving…why, I don’t know but I want to get on the bike by 7 and that is 14 minutes away…more coffee first…today is going to be an easy day with only having to make some Masala for lunch…BP was down to 127/72 this morning and the pharmacist gave me the same advice the NP gave me…stop taking your blood pressure so much…and I am going to take that advice…not much to do today…just the rides and cooking and a little introspection….and maybe some cleaning…and I am going to let myself understand how lucky I’ve been in my life…more later…

Well…when are the maga morons going to figure out that the idiot trump and his minions have been lying to them to get their votes? that may have started happening just the past coupl of days when the idiot vance came out and said there will be no pardons for violent January 6th rioters…and this was in the top 5 of why these morons voted for trump…but, really, these people are too stupid to even understand they’ve been lied to and really don’t care if idiot boy lies to them…just today the “end the Ukraine war on day one” believers had their bubble burst when senior advisors to the idiot said that is not going to happen…and I’m sure there are trump supporters who lot their houses in the California wildfires who are going to hate that trump is already floating withholding federal aid for the California because the state didn’t vote for him…ha, ha…this is what you get trump voters and it is so sad that they have to take the rational people with them who voted for a competent woman who would have the aid package ready to go…geez…
