Well…have been writing about the idiot too much lately so today I won’t….so, what to talk about? Gym Jordan is trying to do another hatchet job on Joe Biden in hearings today and it’s another big swing and a miss and Jerry Nadler brought a supercut of the idiot’s decline for comparison…had to laugh about that…I sure hope we can hold all three branches of government here in Michigan this fall…so many good things have been done with the dems in control of everything and I’d really like to grind the repubs into the dirt…one of the things that I’ve read about that I really like is the possibility that we can take control of the entire federal government this fall and then Biden will be able to get a national anti gerrymandering law passed so the states don’t have to do it on their own…especially red states that want to be able to cheat in every election….that’s the problem with the repub party these days…it is built on cheating in everything they do since no one wants their ideas if they have any….okay, that’s enough for now…I’ll be back later for one more…
March 12th
Well…damn, sore again this morning and I think it’s from riding outdoors after being inside for a week or so…slept okay but up at 4:54 and that’s two night in a row…only have 20 minutes before I have to get on the bike for the first ride indoors since I’m going to do the grocery run today…want to make some potato soup today to use up the celery and potatoes before they spoil…and I need to make a pizza in a couple of days to use the mushrooms and red pepper that are in the fridge…it looks like a couple of days of okay temps and then back down into the 30’s and 40’s for the rest of the month…there just has to be a break soon…it’s almost spring after all…oh, well…didn’t get the chance to read at all yesterday with the day getting away from me and the same thing could happen today with the grocery run in there…don’t have a lot to get at the grocery stores today but the pizza fixings and bread to replace the loaf that went moldy…going to see if aldis has the big heads of broccoli and I wonder if that would go good in the potato soup today….not much to do today…just need to get going on the bike right now and then out for the errands….might try to do three rides today if the day starts off right…more later…
Damn, it’s 5pm…
Well…I am really not sure how this day got away from me but it did…didn’t get on the indoor bike until after 10 so that made me late for getting outdoors for a ride and didn’t get back here til almost 1:30…then I had to do laundry after I bled all over a pillow and pillowcase from a scratch on my scalp that I got from banging my head on the freezer door when I was cleaning it yesterday…and it bled a lot overnight right through to the pillow…crap….still sore from something I did sleeping last night and my right lower back and side still hurt like crazy…was okay on the bike and even going into the big wind didn’t hurt much…but my hands do and I think that’s from the weight work I’ve been doing a lot of…and that I still need to do right now or I won’t get any reading in today…
What the heck is wrong with old people?
Well…I have a question…what the hell is wrong with old people? They keep voting for repubs and every one of them has vowed to cut the programs that keep them and me alive…I sure as hell would never vote for any repub again with a party that is filled with liars an crooks…and just today, in a softball interview, the idiot trump lied about SS, medicare and Medicad causing the deficit which it isn’t…and the righties have now said if they are elected, they will abolish the SS taxes which will effectively kill the programs…and millions of Americans like me who depend on it to live…and I’m sure as hell not going back to work at my age…so, we need to vote for dems up and down the ballot…and the dems need to run ads with a supercut of every time idiot boy has said he will destroy SS…they had a good one up in one of the posts over at Kos today…go watch it, then vote like your lives depend on it…mine does…
March 11th
Well…it’s almost 9 am and that means I’m running late today and I am really sore from sleeping last night…my back hurts and I am just generally sore all over…stayed up way too late last night and I think I’ll be feeling it all day…should have been on the bike for the first ride already but that is going to wait for a while….damn, I’m getting old…didn’t get much done yesterday and it’s going to be the same today with how I feel right now…could this be that elusive day off? No….just need some time to get going with the damn time change…I whacked my head on the headboard sleeping last night and have a big scrape that bled a bit so I’m doing laundry right now to get it out of the pillowcase…oh, well…the coffee needs to work right now and it’s not…not much to do today…just need to recover from the soreness and get going but that’s not happening yet…one of these days I won’t be able to recover and that will suck….more later…
Daylight savings…
Well…these first few days of daylight savings time always screws up my body clock so it looks like I’ll have to stay up later tonight or I’ll be flipping and flopping around in bed for hours trying to get to sleep…didn’t get a lot done today but watch races and read…I did give myself a haircut because I like the way it looks when it is trimmed really short and the same for my beard…don’t like it shaggy…didn’t even try to ride outdoors since it never got out of the 30’s today…there was still snow on the lawn most of the day and it is still on the dirt patches for some reason…I am going to try to get outdoors for a ride the next few days that are going to be in the 50’s but I’m still going to do two rides indoors as I wait for the temp to come up…didn’t grill the pork loin I made for dinner but I did cook it in the air fryer and that worked good…still on sale this week but I still have 8 more of them in the freezer and two of them are enough for a week or two…okay..want to read a bit more before 7 so I’ll end here…

Well…yeah, you know who I’m talking about…after paying an 84 million dollar bond on Friday after losing a lawsuit for libel, the idiot trump is back out there saying all of the same crap about E.Jean Carroll that cost him that money…I will bet she is going to sue him again to add to the 90 million he has to pay her…so I wonder if the next court is going to smack him down to the tune of quarter of a billion dollars? Doing this again has to earn him the prize for being the dumbest person in the world…has he deteriorated so much mentally that he can’t help himself? Or is he pissed that Biden tore him a new one in the SOTU and he’s trying to get the spotlight back on his orange hide? Who cares? I sure don’t…he should just have a stroke and get out of our lives…geez…
March 10th
Well…damn, going to be doing time conversions in my head all day today with the time change last night and I wonder when they are just going to give up on it? I mean they didn’t do it when I was a kid and we survived pretty well…oh, well…slept okay last night but with not eating much yesterday, I’m going to be pretty worn out all day and I’ll probably repeat that today….this would be a perfect day to take the day off and watch Moto GP but with the new goal of riding every day for the entire year, that’s not going to happen….my record for riding daily is 186 days and I’m 70 days in from the start of the year…it looks like they plan to have the big condo complex open by the end of July and I’ll get my trail back that goes across the point then…but I think they are being a little optimistic…the marina is done but they really just started on the condos and other buildings so I don’t see July…it’s still damn cold out here and we even had snow yesterday but we are slowly moving toward spring…I hope…still won’t be out on the bike today but I am going to try to get two rides in downstairs after more coffee…not much to do today…going to make one of the pork fillets with a baked potato for lunch and then do a salad for dinner….then I need to plan for the rest of the week….more later…
An easy Saturday…
Well…it’s been and easy day today so I can’t figure out how I’m still doing these at 5 pm? The day just got away from me with all of the sports on tv today so I’ll have to do better tomorrow…I did get two rides and and the weight work so I guess that’s something and I’ll have to do some meal planning tomorrow or make some potato soup…have all of the ingredients so I should do it before the potatoes spoil…and I may grill a couple of the pork loin fillets I got but it’s going to be cold out here tomorrow so maybe just in the air fryer…after I hit the car with the stop leak there wasn’t and condensation on the windshield when I drove it Friday so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that will buy me another month to find a car…but right now I want to read a bit with the race on in the background…
He borrowed the money from putin’s cronies…
Well…one of the big stories to me from this past week is not even in the news after one day and I think that’s wrong…on Friday, the idiot trump had to post an 85 million dollar bond since he lost both E. Jean Carroll cases and didn’t have the cash to put up…but where did he get the cash? I’ve seen a couple of stories that say that he got the money laundered through a man with contacts in the Kremlin which means Putin…I’m sure no bank here in the US would lend him a cent with all of the money he has stolen from them by manipulating the worth of his properties so he had to go somewhere and where else would he go? He’s tried to give Ukraine to Russia and I’m sure that putin sees it as a good investment just in case he gets re elected (he won’t)…but how much of national security risk does this make him? Damn, he and his idiot son in law were already giving away classified information before the loan so now he has even more reason to steal more and give them to putin…so, he should never be anywhere near any state secrets ever again…geez…
