Well…who’d have thought that putting an illiterate moron in charge of the economy was going to push it towards a recession? The past three months have only added 34,000 jobs with June being revised to show that the economy actually lost 12,000 jobs…and this is in direct comparison to the last two months of the Biden presidency where over 500,000 jobs were added…and qualified economists are now warning that the job market is “frozen” and are predicting a bloodbath coming in the next few months as economic growth ends…and there is only one person to blame…and we all know it’s the idiot trump and his ignorant henchmen…soon it’s going to be that the people who voted for this asshole are going to be out of jobs and broke and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch…after all, they saddled this country with the stupidest president in history who has saddled everyone with the biggest tax increase in history with his stupid tariffs…geez…
September 5th
Well…damn, up at 5 again this morning but there wasn’t a chance of getting back to sleep so here I am drinking my first cup of coffee at 5:40 and resigning myself to a day of sleepwalking from being exhausted…and the wind is howling so I may have to do an indoor ride for the first time since April…and that will take some work to get the indoor bike ready…and emby crashed again last night so I don’t have any tv to watch and that sucks…I do need to clean the kitchen today and figure out meals for the weekend but I really don’t care since I can’t taste anything anymore…okay…that’s enough of that…I do need to keep my 700 day streak of riding the bike going but I may only do 8 miles today to give my body a rest or try to ride outdoors in the wind…it’s 62 out there so it will be warm enough if I decide to go out…not much to do today…just cleaning and reading…I did finish the first book yesterday so that only leaves me with 3 for the weekend so I guess I need to parcel them out a bit….more later…
Got some work done..
Well…it’s 2pm and I am done for the day…got the rides in but at 48 degrees it was a little cold…and I put the top down for the library run where I got 4 more books and have started the first one…then I tore the couch apart, vacuumed it, and rotated the cushions…then dusted everything in here…but before I did that, I had to find a replacement for a foam filter that had disintegrated and a scotch brite pad worked fine…I really do think I need to replace the vacuum soon since it is almost 20 years old and sounds like a 747 taking off…probably should look on amazon to see what’s out there…I only paid 49 bucks for this Bissel and I’ll probably look for another one…but it will probably be over 100 bucks…oh, well..time for more reading…
Prices are not going down…
Well…the idiot trump is lying his ass off again today with saying that prices for everything are falling and fast…I guess he wouldn’t know about food prices since he’s never set foot in a grocery store or even bought any food…let’s talk about potatoes…two years ago a bag of frozen fries was 2.69 and guess what I just paid for one Tuesday? Yeah, it’s not lower at 4.00…up over 50% and let’s talk about meat prices, too…two years ago you could get pork chops on sale for 99 cents a pound…and now? 1.99 a pound on sale, more than a 100% increase…and I don’t buy beef anymore since those prices are ridiculous…two years ago I could get ground beef at aldis for 1.99 a pound on sale…now they never put it on sale anymore and a pound goes for over 5 bucks…luckily for me, I can afford to absorb the increases but a lot of families can’t so they do without…and a lot of those people voted for the idiot…what do you think now, maga assholes? He is going to starve you out and you’d still vote for him again…what a bunch of morons…geez…
September 4th
Well…running late this morning with my site being down when I got up…so I did the rides and went to the library first…up at a little after 5 this morning but was able to get back to sleep until after 6 so that’s not bad…allergies are still terrible and I’m still coughing so I may have to take something for it and I really don’t want to…I guess we’ll see…it’s going to be cool the next few days and I need to remember to close the basement windows since it’s barely going to get to 60…I’m curious to see what the big rain we got yesterday does to the lawn…there are patches of green in it instead of the brown it was all summer…but I think we’re going to need rain every few days to bring it back before winter…pretty sure I’m going to have to reseed a lot of it in the spring and that will be the big project for the year…not much to do today…just need to go over the kitchen and probably should flip the couch cushions today, too…more later…
Took it easier today…
Well…after filling the majority of the day yesterday with tasks, I took an easier day today with just the rides and reading…I did finish up the 5th book so I can get more tomorrow…it finally rained out here and heavy enough to turn my street into a river for the half hour it rained…I’ll bet we got close to an inch of rain in that half hour…rained so hard that it looked foggy and I could only see about a block in any direction…not sure if that will help my lawn much but it didn’t hurt it I’m sure…so tomorrow will be another easy one with just a little cleaning to do along with the bike rides and of course reading…time to get ready for tv…

Well…with the idiot trump threatening to invade blue states with the army, a new idea on how to check his power is gaining traction across the country…with blue states financing a large majority of the federal government with some states sending over 4,000 dollars per capita over what they get back, it’s time for the blue states to shut of the tap of dollars going to the federal government…I mean why should blue states finance the invasion of their cities? And all of the red states are welfare states getting back 1.24 for every dollar they pay in taxes…so if the blue states want, they have the power to stop all of the illegality that idiot boy is doing…after all, trump and his cronies ignore the constitution every day and with California being the 4th largest economy in the world, if they just stop paying federal taxes the government will go into default and idiot boy won’t have any money for his bullshit…geez…
September 3rd
Well…I’m getting damn tired of my wake up times starting with a 5 and that has been going on for weeks now…and that is getting really old…the rain is coming in and it looks like I’ll be getting wet on the bike today…and cold weather is coming starting tomorrow with the high barely getting out of the 50’s for 4 or 5 days…but that is supposed to happen in September in Michigan…don’t have a lot to do today other than the rides and reading…have one last book in this batch so I’ll be heading to the library Thurs or Friday for 5 more…coffee…and lots of it is needed right now…going to do another covid test today to see if I’m still contagious…still coughing a bit but I think part of that is allergies with all the damn goldenrod along the trail…still have an hour before I need to get on the bike when it gets light so I’m going to sit here and have more coffee and read the news…think I’ll do the weight work before I get on the bike so I don’t have to think about that…more later…
Busy day…
Well…it was another busy day today with tasks that needed to be done all day…got the two rides in then did the grocery run and then cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom…and I still need to get the trash put together and out here in a few minutes along with all of the normal things I need to do to finish up the day like doing the dishes, making coffee, and making ice…at least I didn’t need to cook with the few days of leftovers left…but I do need to start to do some meal planning for later in the week…oh, and I went to the city offices to pay my property taxes and water bill…so yeah…it was a little busy today but I am finishing up right now so I can get a little reading in before I watch a little tv…out to do the trash…
Finally…
Well…a judge just ruled that the idiot trump and his minions violated the law when they sent troops into LA to “enforce” the law that no one was breaking…and he also ruled that they knew they were breaking the law and pointed out the weasel words they used as justification…the only problem is that the judge made it a narrow ruling that only applies to LA so when idiot boy sends troops into other dem cities, a new suit in that jurisdiction will have to be filed…so it looks like the good guys will be playing whack a mole for the time being or until someone files a lawsuit that has monetary damages attached to it…gee I wonder it this will be in the articles of impeachment when we retake the House? It should be…geez…
