Well….got the grocery run done on time today and now it’s time for news…but first, slept okay last night but feel a little warm this morning and I think I have a bug…didn’t feel that hot yesterday and that continues this morning…but, I am going to try to burn it out on the bike today…it is already almost 50 so I am going to get out in shorts in a few minutes….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but fixing the water pipe noises that have been bugging me for a week….and today looks like just a little light cleaning until I meet up with T later….my heel has been hurting the past few days but it doesn’t this morning and that is a little weird but I’ll take it….might even wash the car if it is going to dry up this morning…it needs it’s spring wax job but I’m not sure if I’m motivated enough to do that….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but, again, I didn’t get much done and I’m okay with that…slept okay last night and had some really weird dreams that I really don’t know how to describe but they were fun…there was a government job for me, dogs, and lots of snow…but, I’m not sure there is a connection between all of them…I did get a nice bike ride in with no stocking hat, finally, and I may be able to do the same today…it looks like we have a couple of days of good weather and then back int he 30′s again…I am at the point where I am going to write off April as being a total loss for spring weather…so there will be more hunkering down and no shorts this month….I do have some things to do today but not much so it looks like another easy one for me….need more coffee and to see if anything happened in the news last night…more later….

Well….I’m not sure if you’ve ever heard of ocular migraines, those zig zag, pulsating lines and stars that happen in your vision…usually before a migraine occurs but not always? Just had my first case in a couple of years and they have left me exhausted….I’m just glad they are normally benign and only last about 30 minutes….but it is weird having your vision appear like you’re looking through shattered glass…..and that no one knows the cause of them…just that they are not a symptom of of other underlying problems…and, I think my vision has gotten better in the hour or so after they ended….yow!

Well….running a little early today and just didn’t sleep long enough….or well enough with being up and down all night…and I am feeling it right now….can’t remember being this tired in quite a while so it’s another one to ease into…it was an okay day yesterday and we tied at pool so that was cool….and it was nice to get out of here for the first time in a couple of weeks…I have been coughing for the past couple of days and I wonder if that is why I feel so tired….the allergies are in full swing already and that could have something to do with it, too….didn’t get anything done yesterday and I might today but that will take some motivation that I just don’t have right now….I think I was well under on calories yesterday so I am going to try to make that up today…the problem is that nothing even sounds good…it took a lot of work to just get through a couple of chicken thighs…I think I may have to vary my diet some to get around that…but, I’m not sure what that would be…..more later….

Well….on time this morning and it really didn’t take any effort….slept okay last night but I’m feeling kind of slow today and I think I’ll ease into it today….not sore anywhere today and that is a little weird….we’ll see how I feel after I get on the bike later….the trails are still closed for tree removal and that is just annoying since they will be moving through Kentwood all the way to 44th street so it could be a week or more before they’re done….had to take a detour on the roads yesterday and I really don’t like that too much….the roads are pretty bad and, even with the suspension on the bike, it beats the crap out of me….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will probably be the same…I do need to run an errand this morning and then the normal workout and bike ride….more later…..

Well…haven’t been feeling too hot today after I got back from the bike ride and I’m not sure what is going on…but, I did want to talk about the miles I’ve put on the bike so far this year…went over 600 for the year a couple of days ago and just forgot to do one of these on it….and over 450 of those are on the new bike in the past month…and that’s with taking a couple of days off with the cold and rain….I didn’t even get on the bike until the third week of April last year and I should be to 700 miles by then this year…so, I’m way ahead of last year and may be able to challenge my top year of 4143 miles….who knows?

Well…not sure what is on time anymore so I guess just getting here is on time…and, having to run the car to defrost the windows on the 8th of April is just wrong….and it was just too cold to get on the bike yesterday and today I’m going to have to wait until the afternoon to get out….I am really tired of this damn cold weather…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will probably be the same unless I can get motivated….don’t really have a lot to do so I guess it will take care of itself….back to not sleeping well again and I am worn out today but that may be that I didn’t get on the bike yesterday…I can really feel it when I don’t get out…just feel off and guilty so I hope I can get the ride in before the F1 race at 11….not much to do today…I should clean the kitchen and I might or I may wash the bike since it is getting pretty dirty…not sure…more later…

Well…running on time today and don’t feel all that badly….slept okay last night but my eyes are giving me fits this morning…I think I must have slept on one of them since everything is fuzzy and it is hard to focus them…I think part of it is my allergies are flaring up since they are itchy…maybe I’ll try some medicine this morning….and my legs are sore with going 3 miles into the wind and uphill yesterday…they we doing tree removal on the trail and had it closed so I had to re route up 60th street straight into the 15 mph wind and that was no fun…won’t be going out today since it is only going to get to 31 and that is just too cold for me….didn’t get a lot done yesterday…I did check the coolant in the car yesterday since it appeared like I had a leak…it was down a pint or so but I hadn’t checked it since October and I think that is normal….and I don’t smell coolant so I’m not going to worry about it…..not much to do today…lots of sports on so I am going to ease into the day with soccer and then Man U plays City later so it may just be a veg day….more later….

Well….didn’t sleep in today so I’m running a little early…and I woke up to snow on the car again and that is getting really, really old….I did sleep okay last night but I am still feeling a little run down…just have no energy but we’ll see how it goes after I have some coffee….I did get a few things done yesterday and I need to clean the kitchen today…and I need to cook, too since I have no leftovers but I’m not sure what I’ll cook…have chicken thighs and a pork loin so that will give me some options…not sure if I’ll get a bike ride in today with the wind coming up to 20-30 mph with some big gusts later and I just don’t want to fight that anymore….but, right now I am going to have more coffee and watch the first F1 practice….more later…

Well….yeah, I know, there is lots of crap to write about going on in the world but I just can’t work up any outrage to power it….so, I’m just going to noodle around for a while and see what happens….Virgin Galactic is going to have a powered flight test of it’s new passenger space ship sometime today…think I’ll go out and see if they have a you tube channel for it…be right back…nope, couldn’t find it….I did get out on the bike today and the trails were clear…but, it’s supposed to snow again tonight so it looks like a day off tomorrow and maybe even Sat if it rains….there are only two more Wings games for this season and I didn’t even notice….they were just too hard to watch this year, especially since I can still remember when they were good and expected to win every game…oh, well…maybe we’ll get a better draft pick…oh, one last thing…talked to my daughter yesterday…okay, texted with her…and I am going out to Baltimore in the middle of sept for her husband’s retirement party…and this includes a suite at Camden Yards for a baseball game and then a day trip to NYC…or, the trip will be first and then the ball game…I have always wanted to see NYC and a day trip sounds about right…..we have hard to get tickets to go up in the crown of the Statue of Liberty, too, so that will be cool….okay, that’s enough for now…
