Well…feeling a little better today with eating more or the bug is leaving…not sure which but I know I had to come here and do one on the moron first daughter and her behavior at the G-20 summit. First of all, why the hell is she even there? Does she have an degree in economics or diplomacy? Or any relevant experience? Or any role in the government that would need her to be there? The video that has gone viral sees her trying to insert herself into a conversation with heads of state and the head of the IMF and the obvious contempt that these people have for her…with most of them rolling their eyes as she tried to interrupt Macron and Merkel and put in her two cents….exactly the response that they have for her daddy when he does the same thing with his ignorant nonsense. Just like daddy, she thinks that people should respect her for her delusional sense of self importance and she truly believes she belongs on the world stage because she used to design shoes and cheat people when she was selling condos in NYC. God, I can’t wait for these idiots to be gone….impeach…

June 30th
Well…that was a little better with not waking up until almost 5:30 and slept okay….and I don’t feel too bad this morning after feeling like crap all day yesterday after I got the second ride in and I’m not sure why I felt that way…might be not eating enough or it could be that I’m not acclimated to the heat yet but damn, it was really bad…okay, still feel crappy this morning and I’m wondering if I should get out on the bike or take it easy…my guts have been screaming at me the past couple of days and I’m trying to figure out what the heck I ate that would cause that…yeah, it’s as bad as it sounds but I am going to get out on the bike after I do this and have a little coffee….with feeling so lousy yesterday, I didn’t get much done but a load of laundry and I think I’ll be taking it easy today after I get back and I’m not sure if I’ll only do one run or two….starting to feel like I did yesterday so I am going to watch a little Moto GP and take it easy….more later…
trump argrees with Putin…who knew?
Well…the ugliest of ugly Americans is stumbling his way around the G-20 conference this weekend wreaking havoc on everything he touches…and, the idiot trump is trying so hard to please his handler Putin that he threw the whole of Western society under the bus…agreeing with Putin that the “liberal idea” has “outlived it’s purpose” and has “become obsolete”….phrases straight out of the communist playbook of the cold war…and who knows if it is by trump’s ignorance, stupidity, or loyalty to Putin that he agreed, but his subsequent comments that he has seen what is going on in Los Angeles and SF that are run by liberal administrations shows that he has no frickin idea what “the liberal idea” means or that the US and the rest of the west are liberal democracies. He hears something that he thinks will play to his radical conservative fascist base, that anything “liberal” is a bad thing, especially when it comes from his buddy Putin and trump is too dumb to understand that Putin is using his ignorance to attack the US on a world stage to further destroy our standing…some thing that trump does on a daily basis…making the US a laughingstock…and trump grins his way through the insults with a stupid grin on his face like a toddler that just made his first crap in the potty. I wonder how many years the next dem president is going to have to work to fix the trail of destruction that the idiot trump has left across the world? More than one term I’ll bet….impeach…
June 29th
Well…up a little early today but nowhere near as early as yesterday…5:30 is much better than 3:43 but I would still like to get a full night of sleep at some point…I think only going out once yesterday has helped with the pain since I’m not too sore today and I’ll be getting out soon to see how much energy my legs have after the rest…it is already almost 70 out there so the second ride is going to be hot today…not sure when I’m going to wedge the second one in with Moto GP, F1, and soccer on today…one good thing is I don’t have to cook today with running the instant pot yesterday but I do need to marinade some more chicken and make another batch of pickled red onions but that is pretty easy and won’t take much time…I am going to get to my kitchen counters today and maybe even clean the oven once I get started…and the microwave needs attention, too, so I have plenty to keep me busy….don’t want to be too ambitious, though….then I’ll be bored tomorrow…more later….
A surprise fun day….
Well…as you can see, haven’t done one on politics today so far and probably won’t…had a surprise fun day when Tom called to go out and shoot pool and, of course, I’m always in for that…I had just gotten the instant pot loaded to make some chicken leg quarters so I decided to just let it do it’s thing while I was gone…the first time I’ve ever let any cooking go on without me being here…but, it worked out perfectly and I had a nice, hot chicken lunch waiting for me when I got back here and that was cool…had lunch done and cleaned up from it by 1:30 and now I need to watch the US women’s team play in the World Cup here in a few minutes…and probably take a nap at some point since I’ve been up since 4 or so…I may get to a political one later but I doubt it….only got one ride in today and I’m trying to not let the guilts get to me….
June 28th
Well…that really, really sucked…up at 3:43 and then couldn’t get back to sleep until 5:30 and then up at 6:15…ick…so I feel pretty crappy right now but I need to get out on the bike soon since there are storms coming in from the NW that appear will be here in about 2 hours but who knows? There was a huge storm coming in off the lake last night but it fell apart before it got from the lake to here…and that is the second time this week that has happened…I did get two rides in yesterday but almost lost the rear wheel when it came loose and jammed the chain but I got that fixed and I think it will be good today…I wish they would finish up the brush removal on the start of the trail since it is a pain to have to detour every day….not much to do today…I do need to clean some and maybe cook some chicken but that is about it…and watch the women’s WC when the US plays this afternoon…I need more coffee and to suck it up and get on the bike here in a few minutes….even going to skip the news for now…more later…

Well…just ran across a neat little tidbit that I wanted to share before I get out on the bike…during the first dem debate last night, CNN was doing live fact-checking and the team doing it was “dumbstruck” by the lack of lies…and this exposes the difference between the dams and any repubs these days…while our side values the truth and goes out of it’s way to tell it, the repubs are all a bunch of liars that lie every damn time they open their mouths….the sick thing here is that CNN has bought into the big lie that all politicians lie constantly and had a team just to fact check the 10 candidates on stage…when it is just not true…I can see the campaign ads now…if you want the truth, vote dem…and then put up the 12,000 and counting lies that the idiot trump has told so far…maybe a live lie counter in the corner of of the screen every time idiot boy opens his mouth….that would be cool…impeach…
June 27th
Well…that was better…didn’t wake up until around 5 and then just stayed in bed until almost 6 so, with how things have been going, that’s a win….did the grocery run this morning and was back here by 7:11 and that is quite early for that…I did have the top down over and back to Meijers and that was nice…it’s already almost 70 out there and it is going to get to almost 90 today and stay in the 80′s for the next week or so but there are going to be storms almost every day so I wonder when I’ll get the car cleaned and waxed? Maybe tomorrow morning after I get the first ride in…it is getting a little dusty and the glass could be cleaner….I did get 45 miles in on the bike yesterday with no damage that I can feel other than I’m a little sore but I’m not doing that again today….just the normal 30 miles is more than enough with it getting hotter….I did get out to have a couple with K yesterday and that was fun getting out to actually talk to someone for the first time in more than a week…still need to think about how to get out and do some new stuff but I don’t feel any isolation so there really is no urgency….not much to do today…I do need to work on the kitchen some but we’ll see about that…need to work out first and have more coffee after I read the news….more later…
A good day…so far…
Well…just don’t feel like writing about politics today so I’m not going to…I know there are tons of things going on including the announcement that Mueller is going to testify to the House in open session on the 17th of July…and I’ll do one on that later…but right now, I just want to noodle around a bit and talk about some unimportant stuff…first, I got 45 miles in on the bike today and I am beat and my butt hurts…and the bike appears to be fixed from the bearing noise that I worked on yesterday…but the zipper is coming apart on my handlebar bag and that is a little annoying…am trying to glue it back together since the teeth are glued to the backing tape and not sewed on and I have never seen that before…I did get out to the dollar store this morning since I needed some sunscreen and they have tubes of it for a dollar…with the same ingredients that Coppertone has in it and that they charge 9 bucks for…it’s not a spray but that’s okay…and I got bunches of other cool stuff there, too…injector cleaner, dish scrubbers, measuring spoons, and drain cleaner…saved myself almost 10 bucks by getting that stuff there instead of Meijers…and I just love that dumpy little store….and the car is still not leaking after only putting two tablespoons of sealer in it…and that’s been a couple of weeks so that is cool…and that made it a good day…so far….
June 26th
Well…that was a little better…didn’t get up until around 6 this morning but feel a little crappy this morning and I know why….slept okay after the short night yesterday and I think I was making up for that….I did try to get two rides in yesterday but had a problem with the bike that I had to cut the second ride short to fix….had the same problem with the rear wheel that I had with the front a few weeks back and had to tear it apart to fix it…the same cracking noise that I think I fixed with greasing and adjusting the bearings but I won’t know that until I get out in a few minutes…it’s weird that I had to do this on this bike when I never had a problem with the last one…or any other bike for that matter….didn’t get anything done yesterday but a couple of errands and it was nice to get out in the car with the top down…and I got 10 more pounds of chicken for 29 cents a pound that I am not sure what the heck to do with…there is no room in my freezer so I may have to sacrifice my turkey carcass to fit it…I wonder if chicken leg quarters would make good soup?
