Well…the WH continues to lie about how many people have died from the hurricane in Puerto Rico….64, that’s how many the WH is still clinging to as the number of deaths…but, a new study by researchers at Harvard put the number at almost 5,000. Five thousand American citizens died from a botched response the the hurricane and it’s aftermath and I wonder if that’s by design…after all, look at the terror that trump and his cronies are visiting daily on other “brown” people that are coming here seeking asylum….and these bigots infest the government at all levels so more and more it looks like this terrorism is a feature, not a bug. And the media stays silent, letting these thugs get away with allowing Americans to die just because they were born with the “wrong” color skin…5,000 people didn’t die in Texas, or Florida last year due to their hurricanes…and that should be the subject of every damn cable news broadcast today…more people died in PR than in the WTC and no one in this administration gives a damn….impeach….

The idiot ignites a trade war…
Well…the idiot in chief did it again this morning when he announced that he is imposing tariffs on basically all of our trading partners including Canada, Mexico and the EU since he delusionally thinks everyone is cheating the US on trade. This is just not true but that doesn’t matter to this idiot…he is so stupid or senile that he thinks that just because he thinks something is true, it is…I really do think he’s mentally ill. While the idiot thinks this is being “tough on trade”, it is just another case of the moron further isolating the US and he’s throwing away our leadership and is getting nothing in return for it. The EU has already responded by announcing tariffs on everything they import from the US and the carnage is going to be widespread here….were talking hundreds of thousands of jobs gone and farmers bankrupt…but, that doesn’t matter to trump…he just doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself and his fawning toadies will be heaping praise on this stupid action….impeach….

Well…running on time this morning and feel good that I didn’t spend as much on groceries this week…I did get some healthy food so there will be salads in the future…slept okay last night but I am disappointed with the storms that came through yesterday…just rain and no lightning or thunder…I need to be entertained…other than that, it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…I think I need to do some cleaning today but I am already sweating with the humidity so I may wait until it goes down some…it should be a nice bike ride today since my back just cracked and the pain in my left leg is gone…have been waiting for that to happen for a few days now and it is a relief….not much to do today…just going to ease into it and have more coffee before I decide what to do…more later…

Well…I’m sure you heard by now, or even read it here that Roseanne Barr had her show cancelled by ABC for some racist tweets she tweeted Monday night…and in the ensuing day, she has been backpedaling furiously trying to stem the damage that has spread to syndicated re-runs of the earlier version of her show with most of the big syndicaters pulling the show immediately. Now, she is trying to make an excuse that she was taking Ambien and that made her make the racist tweets…but, the manufacturer, Sanofi US hit back at her with a glorious trolling..”While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.” That just made me laugh my butt off…but that is the modus operandi of the modern conservative, blame anything and anyone for them being terrible people…it’s never their fault, they are “misunderstood”, or their comments are taken “out of context”, or it’s their right to be a bigot under the first amendment…and that’s true…they are free to be a bigot and make racist statements, but that does not make them free from the consequences that arise from their bigotry….karma is a bitch….
May 30th
Well…running early today with getting up at 6 again…that seems to be settling in as the new normal and I’m okay with that…but, I may have to reset the timer on the coffee maker so it will be ready when I get up…had a pretty nice day yesterday with getting out to have a couple with T and having the top down over and back…always fun conversation, too….slept okay last night and don’t feel too badly this morning but haven’t gotten the back to crack yet and that hurts a little…the bugs are invading this place and I’ll need to spray for them today….huge ants and lots of spiders and that is just annoying….I did get a nice bike ride in yesterday with no shortness of breath so that is a relief…was a little concerned with how I felt on the bike Monday but I guess it was just a passing thing….not much to do today…might run an errand this morning or I might not…not sure yet…and I do have some fish to cook so that will give me something to do…more later…

Well…if you haven’t already heard, ABC has just cancelled Roseanne’s show due to the racist comments she made on twitter yesterday…now, I feel for the other actors and crew on the show who aren’t racist trumpist, assholes….but, this is not new behavior from Roseanne and I’m sure they have seen this before and signed on anyway….nice job, Roseanne…your racism just lost 10 talented actors and a hundred crew people their jobs…maga…
Thank you, ABC for doing the right thing and showing us that American values shouldn’t be racist…and the open racism that trump has unleashed is not acceptable in anyone…

Well…don’t know if I have the attention span today to do a long one on a single topic so I think I’ll do a few short ones…starting with the idiot in chief’s tweet for Memorial day yesterday…have you ever heard anything so self-serving and terrible? Starting with “happy Memorial Day” and then devolving into me, me, me…the tweet has been savaged all across the media since yesterday and it just shows that idiot boy can’t even fake having any human empathy….Memorial Day is not a “happy” day unless you are a psychopath like trump…and stating that the dead would love what he is doing to the country is just a new piece of evidence that he really IS a psychopath and mentally ill….and on Morning Joe this morning, Mika got right to the point in three words..”he’s not well”…and this doesn’t even address the pay for play scandal with China granting Ivanka valuable “trademarks” that she can use to make more money off her sweatshops there…this is a bribe by any other name and, until trump, would never, ever be acceptable..but these grifters just keep on grifting and the repubs do nothing…as usual…impeach…

Well….running a little early today with getting up at 6:05…and that made me laugh…if you know Steely Dan, you’ll know the significance of that time…slept okay last night and don’t feel too badly this morning…just a little slow waiting for the coffee to start working…my back has been a little hinky the past couple of days and I am going to work on getting it to release later this morning…I am still a little geeked that I am getting my second credit card in a week or so and the credit repair moves forward….can’t believe the deal they offered but I’ll take it…not even any interest until August of next year….I may be having lunch with T today if she feels good enough to do it….I worry about her sometimes….not much to do today…the normal stuff and an errand, and then lunch but that will be about it for the day….more later…I’ll get back to politics today if I can come up with a topic…
Good news but feeling beat up….
Well…I think I damn near killed myself on the bike this morning and I am still feeling pretty beat up from it…not sure why it was such a struggle today but I was having problems catching my breath at times…this happens a couple of times a year and I think I may have not eaten enough…just a small burger for lunch and three tacos for dinner…so I may have done it to myself…we’ll see…oh, the good news…just got approved for my second credit card! It’s from capital one and has a 5K limit, no annual fee, 1.5% cash back, and I get 150 bucks back if I spend 500 dollars on it in the first three months…something that will be pretty easy if I stop using the secure one and put all my groceries on it…maybe even a new set of tires…they would be almost free…yay!
May 28th
Well…running about on time today but I am feeling a little slow so the coffee needs to start working soon…slept okay last night but on my right shoulder and it hurts today…but, nothing else does so I guess that’s something…it was a wasted day yesterday with all the races on and that means nothing got done but I am going to try to do some cleaning today…it’s supposed to be almost 95 again today but it was almost that warm yesterday and it stayed comfortable in here so no air again today…didn’t have to cook yesterday but I am going to make some big ribs today and then some leftover tacos later….no pool today with it being a holiday so I guess I’ll just veg out the day and take a long bike ride…more later….
