Well…another wasted day yesterday…okay, I did get a few things done so maybe it wasn’t totally wasted….had a weird thing happen to the car yesterday…had a headlight bulb explode inside the housing….had to take it off and shake all the glass shards out….have never seen that before….that’s the second one that failed in a couple of months….and I got some stuff done around here yesterday that will have to continue today…need to run some errands this morning so I can get more work done around here…but, I’m not feeling it right now…it was nice to hear from T yesterday and I feel for her having to go back to work today….I do need to win the lottery so none of us will have to work anymore….okay…need more coffee…more later….

Well…yesterday was a day that I needed to break out of the malaise that I have been feeling lately…I mean, how can you not grin when it is 62 in January in Michigan?  I did get out on the bike in a t-shirt and shorts for a long ride yesterday..but today doesn’t look promising…may have to have a half thermasuit but that will be okay, too…or I may go full and get out early….I do like riding in the fog….I have been almost successful in keeping my weight down this winter but I still have gained over 5 pounds….and I hate that…but, I guess all I can do is keep trying….don’t have a lot to do today…the Wing play around noon so I will have to get out on the bike before then…and I should clean some but probably won’t…just not into that right now….more later….

Well…didn’t sleep well again last night and I’m not sure what that is about…but, I do know that I feel worn out this morning and need to get things done today…okay, I should get things done today but nothing that can’t wait…oh, I did win at pool yesterday and had fun doing it….haven’t checked the Mega tickets yet since I want the possibility of winning to last longer….will do that later today….didn’t get anything else done yesterday but I am going to try to do something today…will be out on the bike in shorts today and I am looking forward to that….riding in full thermasuit is more of a chore than I like….okay, I need to have more coffee and watch some soccer…more later….

Well…woke up to the sun in my face and that quickly told me I slept in way too late….and the reason is I went out to have a couple with G last night…after she told me that the Mexican place was evacuated for a fire…hope it wasn’t too serious since I like the place…didn’t get anything done yesterday and today looks the same…although I do have to go to fedex to send a piece of equipment back to get a new one….and I really don’t feel like it but need to do it….slept pretty crappy last night and feel it today so I need more coffee and the couch for a while…more later…

Well….have already been getting stuff done today with the grocery run completed and getting here early….had some really weird dreams last night with the Miata rusting away and starting on fire when the fuel tank rusted through…hmmm….I think my brain is telling me to wash it later this morning….there were more to the dreams but I don’t remember them and it’s a shame…they were pretty good ones….feel okay today and that is strange, too…..my head is clear for the first time in months and that is without any allergy medicine….so maybe I’ll try to get through the day without it today…I do have a headache, though, but that will be taken care of when I get on the bike today….was hoping to get out in half thermasuit today but the temp has been revised down and now it’s only going to be 44….so that will have to wait….don’t have a lot to do today but I am going to cook some pork chops that I got for 1.19 a pound….more later….

Well…got another bike ride in yesterday but it was a wet one and it took me most of the afternoon to warm up after the ride…slept pretty crappy last night and was up before 6 so there may be a nap later today to compensate for that….but, I feel okay this morning even with that but I am sore…again….and I know this time it’s bike soreness so that makes it okay…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be much the same since I really don’t have a lot to do….may have a little work but I may be able to put it off, too….not sure yet….I should wash the car today but that may wait until tomorrow when the weather will be better…it is going to be in the mid 50′s sat so that may be my top down day or tomorrow…not sure yet….more later….

Well…running late this morning and I think it’s by choice…just haven’t felt like getting going and I think I am going to allow this one to be a wasted day….and I had another equipment failure yesterday…or the same equipment failure I had last week and now I am working on getting it replaced under warranty so the only cost will be shipping to send the old part back…or, maybe they will pay for that, too….maybe too much to ask….feel pretty crappy this morning and I am waiting for the coffee to work so my brain is not working that well….didn’t get on the bike yesterday since I had work to do around here and it rained most of the day…I’m now waiting for the rain to stop so I can get a ride in today…but I’m not too motivated so that can wait a while…more later….

Well…slept okay last night but my lungs are giving me fits today…have been coughing for some reason but I’m not sure if it is a bug yet….don’t have the normal symptoms so I guess I’ll wait to see what happens…it has been nice to be back on the bike the past few days and yesterday was a much  better ride…my hands didn’t hurt too much so that was a good thing…but I am sore this morning and I don’t mind it…and the breaking of the news blackout has been less painful than I expected…still not into the entire news cycle but that will come later….not sure what I’m going to do today…it is supposed to rain the next two days so I may just have to veg until I can get back on the bike….and I do have some work to do around here but that might wait a day or so….more later….

Well…woke up feeling crappy again today and have lung congestion that has been coming on for a few days that is annoying….the pain from the bike ride yesterday has not kicked in yet but it should in a while…my hands are still stiff from yesterday and that will make today’s ride bad from the start…oh, well….I did cook the pork shoulder in the pressure cooker yesterday but the hour was not enough to get the center of it tender….next time I think I’ll go an hour and a half…still came out pretty good and I’ll have leftovers for the rest of the week…not going to do a whole lot today other than the bike ride later…Man U is playing at 11 so that will be something to keep the boredom at bay for a while and I should clean some but I probably won’t….more later…

Well…finally dragged myself off the couch and got on the bike and that may have been a mistake…the ride was pure torture from the first mile to the last with my hands going into full cramp mode as soon as I left here and then continued to get worse through the entire 12 miles….there were some things on the trail that made me smile a little starting with the first almost all black red tailed hawk I’ve ever seen…they are normally brown and white on their backs but this one was jet black….strange…then, heading into the woods someone had put red balloons and a “will you marry me?” sign along with hearts and rose petals spread across the path….then, looking for the last bit of artwork where a hundred chistmas ornaments were hung in the trees…I saw it had been moved about 200 yards from where it was the last time I saw them…at least that distracted me from the pain in my hands….
