Well…across this country, the idiot trump’s minions tried to seize and break into voting machines to try to find evidence of “voter fraud” that would “prove” the election had been stolen…and there were lots of people involved in the swing states like Georgia and Michigan…and today, following the indictments of the fake electors a couple of weeks ago here, the first of the people who tried to steal and break into voting machines was indicted…Stephanie Lambert, one of trump’s cronies, was indicted for her part in the scheme that included almost all of the higher ups in the repub party here in Michigan…so she is just the first of many who will feel the weight of a justice system doing what it is supposed to do…bring criminals to justice and these criminals are the wort kind, those who would try to destroy this country just to protect the worst person in the world and their own person power…man, I can’t wait to see who is on the indictment list…probably the head of the party and some legislators, too…get the popcorn ready….

It just may be indictment day…
Well…idiot boy’s lawyers met with Jack Smith’s team yesterday and that last time that happened, indictments came down the next day…or idiot boy announced he had been indicted and the detail was announced by Smith’s team a week later…and the pundits are saying this indictment is going to be for the January 6th case with a possibility of 200 or more charges…and it that is the case, he needs to be locked up until trial like any other criminal would be….should I be ashamed of myself for rooting for this asshole to go down? Nope, not at all with all of the damage he has done…releasing the maga hordes to attack the country and keep him in office like a dictator…. and that movement will be killed if we take out the top traitor…so we need to do that now before pours even more poison into our country…geez…
July 27th
Well…running about on time today but it was a struggle of a day with all the pain and had to take a tramadol just to be able to sleep a bit last night and I did get some so that was cool…but I still have some air in my abdominal cavity that is causing pain and I hope it gets absorbed soon…my incisions are doing okay…nice and dry so they are healing fine…my daughter bought some topical painkiller called voltaran and I just put some of that on my shoulders and neck and I think it’s going to be another help for all the pain…need to start eating more and that is going to start with some toast and peanut butter this morning…going to try to take a shower today since I haven’t had one since Monday morning and my skin is so oily that feel like a greased pig…it was not a good day for the pain yesterday but it was all the traveling and walking I had to do…and I need to get up once an hour and walk around…not much to do today…and that is especially true for me today….going to do nothing but sit here and read and write a bit with minimal movement…it is still weird to not have to pee since Tuesday and I fill the bag overnight so the kidneys are working fine…now just need to get the intestines going with more food,,,,more later….
July 26th
Well…running late with not getting back to here today until around two and the power being off until right now and that is almost 6pm…and I’m in pain that is making me wince every time I move unless I’m sitting still…I thought I was getting better earlier today but I guess I wasn’t….have my friend the bag sitting in a tub here next to me and it is going to be with me til the first…have to figure out how to navigate around here with it…my kidneys are still doing their thing and putting stuff into the bag and that is a good thing but I am just worn out from the pain and the surgery….I know it’s only the first day after it but you know I’m pretty impatient and want to be able to move around right now….but I am going to take care of myself and follow the instructions so I don’t have any problems…they didn’t give me any pain medications at all and i can’t figure that out since I got some for my teeth work and this is much more painful than that….oh, well…haven’t eaten much today so I need to go and do that right now…more tomorrow…
Well…it’s 4:21…
Well…it’s 4:21 here in Ann Arbor and I think I slept about 2 hours tonight and that make for under 10 since Saturday night….but I don’t feel bad so I guess I’ll have to make up for it when I’m lying in the hospital bed today….went to bed at 10, didn’t get to sleep til 11, up at 1:35 and then up for good at 2:36…and I just realized looking in the mirror getting ready that I went too far losing weight…just look too gaunt and not eating for the last 36 hours hasn’t helped…sure hope I’m able to get a lunch today since my stomach is a bit roiled with only having water for all that time…so, I’m going to end here and slowly get ready for leaving in 45 minutes…more Wednesday….
In Ann Arbor…
Well…sitting on the bed in a hotel in Ann Arbor waiting for the surgery tomorrow and need to start the prep here soon and that is not fun…but the time is getting close and only one more night with cancer…haven’t had anything to eat since 6:30 last night and have another 17 hours to go before the surgery is over…really do hope to be able to eat something in the hospital or it will be three days without food and, while I like the weight loss, it’s not good for someone recovering from surgery….it is going to be nice to have the surgery in the rearview mirror even with all the damage it’s going to do……I know what I need to do to recover and have started that a month ago so that should help…going to have to stay flexible and take the setbacks as they come as I know they will….but, I’ve got a good attitude and my daughter helping me so I’m hopeful….
Going to take the laptop…
Well…going to have a lot of time to kill this afternoon after we get to the hotel in Ann Arbor so I’m going to take the laptop with me so I can update here and on Mastodon…and try to find a political topic to do for later as I prep for the surgery….we’ll be taking off in a couple of hours and I am looking forward to getting to the final two days of this process…I know the rehab is going to take awhile but I have been working on the pelvic floor exercises for weeks now…so much that it’s actually sore from doing it so it will be interesting to see when the catheter comes out…a new phase of my life starts in less than a day now and a new challenge that I think I’m ready for…we’ll see…
July 24th
Well…running a little early today and just wanted to let you know there probably won’t be one of these tomorrow since I’ll be in surgery at 6am and won’t have the laptop with me anyway…so the next one will be wed after I get back here but it will probably be short since surgery recovery is hard when you get old and I’m not sure how I’m going to be feeling…so on to the normal stuff…had an okay day yesterday doing the last of the prep work for surgery and getting all the paperwork in…can’t eat anything between now and the surgery but liquids so I’ll be doing water with some of the runner’s electrolytes in it that my daughter got me…had a soup with chickpeas and ginger yesterday and that was the first time I’d ever had them…I think they are going to be a new ingredient when I make soup later this fall…not going to ride the bike other than to take my absentee ballot for the August primary over to the drop box since I won’t be able to do that after the surgery and it needs to go in….not really feeling apprehensive about the surgery but happy it’s finally going to be over and I can start healing….didn’t sleep much last night and probably won’t tonight with the final prep for the surgery happening tonight and then at around 4 am tomorrow morning….then I’ll sleep for the 3 1/2 hours during surgery and probably a lot overnight tomorrow night…so the next meal won’t be til Tues aft and that makes it a day and a half since my last meal was about 6:30 last night….can’t wait til all of this is over….back Wed…
Elections matter, folks…
Well…I still seeing the bullshit all over the internet on the sites that I visit that “both parties are the same”, or “my vote doesn’t matter”….and I wonder if people haven’t looked at the miracle of Michigan where voters put in place the non-partisan election district committee who drew much fairer districts here…and those districts gave the dems total control of the Michigan government for the first time since the 1980′s…and you know what they didn’t do with that control? Tax cuts for the rich and corporations…how about two meals a day for every schoolchild? How about the passing of the initiative that enshrined women’s rights in the state constitution…and protections for the LGBTQ community? That wouldn’t have happened without the dems dragging their butts out off the comfy couch or filling in their ballots and mailing them in….both now protected because we dems turned out and voted to make it easier to participate in our government while every red state voted to make it hard for minorities and college students to vote….so don’t give that crap…voters turning out gave control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court to the liberals in the state where it will now serve as a check on the repub controlled legislature…so don’t make excuses…vote!
July 23rd
Well…running a little late today with not getting out of bed til after 6:30 and I’m pretty worn out after all the work yesterday….but I’m going to get on the bike here in 15 minutes or so after I check the radar…no rain so I’ll get out in a bit…it was a good day yesterday and got a lot done but I’m hoping that calms down today and I can get back to the normal routine of two rides and watching the F1 race…but that goes off at 9 so I won’t get two rides in before that….I really can’t wait to get the surgery done and get to the healing part and get on with my life….my damn teeth started to hurt again last night and they are really pressure sensitive again that I can’t figure out….I did the the lawn done yesterday and my back hurts like crazy after running the string trimmer and mowing….but I can’t take anything for it sine I’m not supposed to take any ibuprofen for a week before my surgery and I’ve already broken that rule….need to do the early check in for the surgery today and make sure I have everything else ready so we can take off around 1 tomorrow ….now I need to get on the bike so I can see the F1 race at 9….more later….
