Well…just sitting here waiting for the Manchester Derby to start and thought I’d get this one done….it was a day yesterday and didn’t get the car fixed since the part is not here yet…but, that’s no big deal….I did have an okay day yesterday once I got back home but didn’t do much…haven’t been on the bike in three days and I think it’s part of the whole malaise that I have been feeling lately…will probably not go out again today since it is going to be so cold and the wind is already blowing about 15…not much to do today…I may be shooting pool but that will be determined by how much coolant the car is losing…will check that in a while but right now, the match is on…

Well…up early and getting ready to take the car back in for a 4 hour ordeal….so, as you can tell, I’m not in too good of a mood right now…so, I’m not going to write a lot until later when I get back here…

Okay…I’m back and the car still isn’t fixed…the part I needed didn’t show up so the next date is Tuesday morning….not sure I mind that much…I did find out that the car is very cozy in the wet snow that I had on the way out this morning…but, it is only 8:49 and I have everything done I wanted to do so the boredom is going to come early….I guess I could clean and I think I will…not sure if I can take the car out tomorrow…I’ll have to check and see how much coolant it’s losing and judge from there…but, right now…there is soccer on and I’m going to veg a little and have more coffee….

Okay, just got back and the car isn’t fixed….they didn’t have the part and it is a much bigger job that I thought it would be…290 bucks and they have to remove the intake manifold to replace it…so I have to take it back in tomorrow morning and wait for it for 3 hours or so…it will be nice to just have the damn thing done…but, that price depresses me somewhat…what can you do? So, who knows if I’m going to be in the correct mood to do another one of these today…right now, I’m not so sure…

Well…running late this morning and this time I know why…too many cocktails last night and I feel pretty crappy right now..but, I think I am coming to the realization that I don’t really want to do that much anymore…I like getting up in the morning and feeling good so I think that this weekend will be the last time….okay…I’m only half way through the papers so I’m going back to that and I’ll come back here in a while to finish up…

Okay…I’m back for a few after getting the workout in and reading the papers…I do feel a little better but the lack of energy I felt yesterday is continuing today and I’m not sure what is causing it….probably not eating enough, again, but the habit of keeping to under 1500 cals a day is pretty strong and it is a lot of effort to eat more…I did feel it on the bike yesterday with flat legs but my lungs were giving me fits, too…just don’t want another winter where I’m sick all the time…okay…that’s enough for now I’ll be back later for another one….

Well…another day…more boredom and I am getting tired of it…at least I slept okay…well…not really, but not bitching about that….didn’t do much at all and today looks to be more of the same but I do have to do the grocery run today since I am out of food here except the fish in the freezer and I just am not in the mood for it…I guess I could clean and do some things around here but have not been able to get motivated to do that lately either…I will try today and see where it goes….I did have to make an appointment to have the car fixed Friday and I hope it will be under a hundred bucks…just have gotten tired of working on it and want it to be normal again….I will be back later for more since it is about the only thing I can afford…

Well…up at the normal time this morning and slept okay last night so I am a little motivated to get to this early…and it was a no cocktail night so that helps, too….I am sore today, though, and it is that same neck problem I’ve been having for the last couple of weeks and I think it’s from sleeping on it wrong…or from sleeping better so I don’t toss and turn as much as I used to….still haven’t figured out the car but I am going to look at the last place the coolant can be leaking…but the bad news is that there are 5 things on that small part that can be leaking…at least I’ll take a look to see if there is something I can see….not much to do today…might have pool with Tom but he sounded really sick last night…if he feels like I did, the only thing he will want to do is hit the couch…more later…

Well…it was a long day yesterday but I was good last night so I feel okay this morning…I did get a top down run in yesterday to see if I’ve fixed the car…not sure yet…it smelled a little while I was driving it but not much when I got back…maybe it’s just burning off all of the coolant that was spilled on the back of the engine…we’ll see today…going to take it out for a long run and get some heat in it…then I’ll move on to the next thing if it is still leaking…slept okay last night and there were dreams but again, I don’t really remember them…I may be able to get out on the bike in a t-shirt for the last time today but it is foggy right now so that may have to wait for later…not much to do today…I do need to clean some today and then get some resumes out…….but that’s about it…more later…

Well….as you can see, I didn’t come back for another one yesterday but it is the first of the month and I just don’t feel that motivated right now…I did take the car out for a drive with the top down to see if it is still leaking and I’m not sure if it is…just a small whiff of coolant smell but that may be from all of it that is on the back of the engine…hope so, anyway, but I think I will take the coils off tomorrow so I can see down to the block on the back of the head that the coolant goes into and see if there are more leaks there…other than that, didn’t do too much yesterday other than watch soccer and take a bike ride….it was a stretch to fight off the boredom but I was somewhat successful….and today looks to be the same…I can get out on the bike early today since it is already almost 60 but I will need to wait for the rain to stop…and I will come back for at least one more today but I’m not sure what it will be about….

Well…it was another bore of a day yesterday and I really didn’t accomplish much…didn’t even drive the car to see if it is fixed…think I’ll do that today to get two things done..putting the top down in every month…since it is going to be almost 60 today…that should get me out on the bike in shorts, too…didn’t sleep too well last night but I said I wasn’t going to bitch about it any more so I won’t…okay…the coffee is done and I do need to read the papers…more later…

Well…it was a day yesterday…oh, sitting here waiting for the coffee to finish and thought I’d get this done first…before I get to the papers, that is…I did wait until a little later to do this one but I went over to Meijers already so that is as good an excuse as any…I am sore everywhere today and I’m not sure what the cause of it is…I did work on the car for a while to replace a heater hose that one end had turned to mush…I am hoping that this is finally the solution to losing coolant but how can I be hopeful when I’ve thought that the last three things I’ve fixed…and 19 bucks for a molded hose that is about 12 inches long? Cripes…not much to do today…I am going to take it easy today…I did buy a 1/4 inch ratchet that will make tightening the hose much easier when I go out to do that today…pretty nice little unit for 6 bucks…okay, coffee is done so I’m going to read the papers…more later…
