Well…darn, another busy day again and I may have to re-think how I’m doing things…three hours on the bike every day essentially takes up all of my free time and I know that has to happen with my big goal on the bike…so what else can go? Not sure yet but it’s pushing 5pm and I’m still doing this when I should be reading and having some relaxation…started the day with getting two rides in downstairs, then straight into making a homemade pizza for lunch on the grill in the garage…then straight out on the outdoor bike in shorts it was so nice…and not having my thermasuit on gave me a bunch of energy and I came back all the way from the beach in a sprint in 24th gear and that felt good…then I had to wash the bike since it was so covered in grit that you couldn’t tell what color it was…I’m hoping the trails dry out by Sunday since that will be the next outdoor day with cold coming in for Fri and Sat…will have to lube the bike in the next couple of days but it has to dry out first…so that was my day…oh, and the weight work and making dinner, too…going to thaw some brats to grill next week when it warms up…but right now I want to read a bit…

Their “witness” is working for Russian intelligence..
Well…with the breathless bleating by the repubs that they are impeaching Joe Biden for bribes by Ukrainians, it came out yesterday that the whole thing and their star witness is part of a Russian intelligence operation to hurt Joe Biden and get the idiot trump re elected…all planned by putin and just the same thing as they did to steal the election for idiot boy in 2016…and the only question that still needs to be answered is how many repubs knew about it and willingly went along since the only thing in their minds is to get the criminal trump back in the WH…they were either used by putin or they committed treason…and that is james comer and jim jordan who are up to their necks in this just as they were in January 6th…when will they be held accountable? Do they just get to continue to commit treason every day? where the hell is Merrick Garland in all of this? these guys should be locked up right now and I don’t care how political it looks…geez…
February 22nd
Well…darn, need to get moving soon and I sure don’t feel like it right now….so damn tired and I forgot to turn the coffee maker on….today is going to be a lot of effort with making a pizza for lunch but I need to get three rides in before that…had an okay day yesterday and got an outdoor ride in that left the bike covered in dirt as I was when I got back here…it was still a nice ride and the trails were clear and it looks like they will stay that way into March and I may be able to transition into only outdoor rides soon…but I will miss watching tv on the tablet downstairs….it’s only 31 degrees out there right now so it appears the outdoor ride will wait til the afternoon….have 14 minutes until I have to get on the bike and I need more coffee…going to do some cleaning in the kitchen today while the pizza is cooking on the grill…need to have a little more discipline around here to make sure I get things done…not much to do today…it starts here in a minute and I’m not sure I’m up to it….I am really craving a day off to watch old movies and just sit here…oh, well,,,more later…

Well…just a little shorty about an article I just read over on Mastodon…it appears that the idiot trump is having a little trouble raising cash for his political campaign…they just reported that they only raised 8,500 bucks for the month of January…yep you saw that right…8,500 bucks for an entire month where Joe Biden raised millions…so, maybe being such a loser is starting to dry up maga money? I wonder what happens when he gets convicted this summer and ends up in jail? Can’t wait to see…geez…

Well…I know we’re all tired of the idiot trump and a lot of us on the left don’t want to hear a thing from him, don’t want see his face, and don’t want to read any of his rants…I know I’m tired of writing about him but we all have to suck it up and keep paying attention…and keep highlighting that while Joe Biden may be old, the idiot boy is just pure evil and will end democracy if he get put in office again…and that is the only way he will get there is if Russia puts him there…again…and look, I know Joe mixes things up sometimes, but so do I and I’m 10 years younger than Joe…and if you have listened to idiot boy lately, you know he’s barely lucid most of the time…but do you ever read that the media is “concerned” about the idiot when he stands in front of his fascist followers and makes no sense at all? No you don’t…hell, it took foreign leaders going in front of the cameras to sound the alarm about the moron promising to destroy NATO to get the US media to pay any attention and grudgingly then did some stories about it…we need to take idiot boy seriously and fight back against the crazy right now or we may not be able to later…geez…
February 21st
Well…I normally look forward to warmer weather in the spring but out here that only means that the assholes will be thumping their bullshit music and that started yesterday….I am so damn tired of it…going to get to 1,000 miles for the year today but that means I have to get on the bike in about 5 minutes to get a ride in before the grocery run…I think the trails may be clear enough to ride on today so I’ll be checking that our today…didn’t sleep well last night but that’s normal so I’m resigned to that…doing the grocery run is going to be a chore today but it’s a chore every week so that’s not new…going to make a pizza Friday or Thursday…not sure which but I have a ton of pepperoni that I want to use on it…and it will be a good change from soups that I have been eating for weeks now…the weather widget says “rain coming” and I don’t mind that…the crocuses at the back of the house are coming up and it’s still February and that can’t be good…way too early for them and I think the frost that is coming this weekend is going to kill them…not much to do today…just need to get on the bike right now so I guess I will…more later…

Well…just read an article by Mark Sumner over on Kos that I completely agree with…that the repub party is now just trump…no ideas, nothing for the people, just fealty to trump…no platform, no nothing…and that’s the thing I can’t figure out at all…I mean 7 years of losses of sets in congress, an extra 200,000 Americans dead in the pandemic…and the culmination of the ruination of the repub party…and now he promises to destroy NATO and turn Ukraine over to putin and make his new term a revenge turn where he will go after his “enemies” who have held him accountable for his crimes…and let’s remember that many, many people who were in his administration and other observers have said that he is barely lucid most of the time and yet the rank and file still support him as if he is a god or something…I guess the modern repub party just has hate to run on these days…and idiot boy is full of that…geez…
February 20th
Well…damn, I sure don’t want to get moving today…not sure why I feel so compelled to get moving every morning…that’s not retirement…I should be able to do what I want when I want but maybe getting the rides in is my new job? I do like losing weight that comes with getting the miles in but it is just so wearing….I did get an outdoor ride in for 10 extra miles yesterday but it was on the city streets since the trails are still snow covered and won’t melt off for another week or so…took the car out to run an errand yesterday and the brakes feel okay and I’m going to let the self adjusters do their thing before I do any more work on it…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but the rides but I need to do some meal planning today with the end of the leftovers coming soon….got to 960 miles for the year yesterday and that means I will get to 1,000 miles before the and of the month…have never gotten to 1K miles this early before and that is an accomplishment at my advanced age…not much to do today…just want to get back to a little routine today and get some cleaning done…and some reading…I did pick up another bag of bird food yesterday but it will probably be the last one….more later…

Well…not sure if you saw it or not, but the idiot trump now has a new grift to go along with all of the others like trump steaks, trump university, trump airline etc…at one of his fascist “rallies” here in Michigan over the weekend, he announced trump freedom shoes…along with trump perfume…yep, shoes and perfume this time…the shoes are basketball shoes painted gold and are priced at 400 bucks a pair…and they are already being used to bilk the rubes with some put out on auction sites for up to 2,500 bucks a pair…not sure if anyone has bitten on a pair at that price but, given how stupid the members of the trump cult are, I’m sure they are going to have some takers…one wag on the internet did the math and idiot boy would have to sell 875,000 pairs of the shoes at 400 bucks to pay the 355 million dollar fine he was assessed on Friday…but that is not going to happen…oh, and they are made in China so there’s that…the perfume? Who cares…just another bottle of swill that the grifter will use to milk more cash out of his cult…morons all…geez…
February 19th
Well…I’m really tired of 4:24…have been waking up at that time for weeks now and you would think I would be able to take a nap later in the day to make up for it but no, I just sleep walk through the days forcing myself to do the rote things I need to do…and that will start here in about32 minutes when I get on the bike by 7…I was going to say I need to get done with the errand I need to run and the rides by the time the race starts at 11 but emby is down again so I won’t be able to see either one today…the pain from working on the car is starting to subside and I can’t wait to test the brakes when I run the errand…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but without the races, I’ll have time to clean and do some meal planning along with reading..it’s supposed to be almost 40 today so I’ll probably try .to get an outdoor ride in just to take a look at the trails…the roads still have icy patches on them so I’m sure the trails will, too…but it’s going to be warm all week so I may be able to get out later…over 50 later in the week and I hope the temps hold….not much to do today…22 minutes until the bike rides and I just saw it’s only 19 degrees outside…ick…more late…
