Well…a judges ruling today actually made me laugh out loud…in the 250 million dollar fraud case in NYC against the idiot trump, his daughter Ivanka’s lawyer told the judge that since she was released as a defendant she didn’t have to testify in the case, ignoring the subpoena that the prosecutors sent for her…yeah, that’s not how this works and I really do wonder where the heck they get these lawyers? Look, even non lawyers know that you can be a witness and have pertinent information without being a defendant…cripes, what lawyer would ever try to pull this bullshit out of his ass? So, the judge said she’d better get her butt into his courtroom next week and essentially told her to get better lawyers…yeah, no one wants to work for the trump crime family…can anyone say perjury? Geez…

October 27th
Well…running a bit late this morning with getting up at 6 but then lying back down until after 7…slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of and that is getting to be disappointing…haven’t worn earplugs to sleep in over a week and I’m getting used to it….I wonder if I can go without them forever? It’s going to be over 60 today at the end of October but then the bottom falls out and the highs next week are only going to be in the 40′s with some freezing…should wash the car today and put the hose away but I still will need to wash the bike so maybe I can wait for a while…it looks like I may be able to get on the bike today but the wind is already blowing 15 out of the south so that will make it a chore….just like it was yesterday…didn’t get much done yesterday and today looks the same but I need to clean a bit after I wash the car….and I need to drop my ballot of at the cop shop for the election that is in a week out here…but I need to fill it out first to keep my string of voting in every election I’ve been eligible for since I was 18….more later…
Had an okay day…
Well…it has been a good day today and the weather even surprised me with a 2 hour opening so I could get two rides and and just a little wet on the way back…and I have been passing the time with reading and have just finished the 3rd book since I got the new 30 at the library and I’ll start number 4 tomorrow as I sit here and watch the rain/storms that are supposed to come tomorrow….I thought I was getting over the cold today but the coughing started again and I still don’t feel that hot…and that makes three weeks I had this crap….so it looks like a day off the bike tomorrow and I can use it but that means cutting out calories and I’m down to one meal already to try to lose the weight I’ve gained since the trip started a month ago…oh, well…I’ll figure something out…

Well…damn, where the hell do they find these guys? The new speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, came out with a statement on the mass shooting yesterday in Maine where 18 people were killed and 30 more people wounded and guess what the repubs are blaming for this one? Not the easy availability of assault weapons that are flooding the streets…nope, it can be that…according to ole Mike it’s the teaching of evolution and any other science in schools…and everything can be fixed if they let god back in the schools which is against the constitution…but sine ole Mikey was in on January 6th and the attacks, we know what he thinks of the constitution…so should we be able to ignore the 2nd amendment, too? According to Mikey, we can….geez…
October 26th
Well…man, I’m freezing this morning and I can’t figure that out…it’s 62 degrees outside and the heat is not even coming on and I have the heating pad on my back….not for pain but just to stop feeling so cold…not sure but I may be getting over the cold…finally…not coughing as much as I have been but I still feel worn out but that might not be from the cold….I did finally cook the pork shoulder in the instant pot yesterday and all I can think about is eating too much yesterday…I really think I need to just stop eating all together since I’m gaining so much weight…and I won’t be on the bike today with the rain that is coming in and is supposed to be here all day…I guess I could prep the indoor bike and ride that but I sure don’t feel like it…didn’t get much done yesterday but ride the bike and cook…I did buy some rye bread yesterday that I would love to toast and have with peanut butter but that is way too many calories…so it looks like the ham I bought is going to be frozen and I’ll go into starvation mode today…just an apple for the day and I might feel better….and coffee….more later…
Is anyone surprised?
Well…if you thought the repubs in the House couldn’t get any worse, they did and they loved doing it…last night those idiots called a “press conference” to announce that some yahoo repub from Louisiana was going to be the new speaker and they all huddled behind him for some reason that I don’t get other than they just wanted their faces on tv…but, isn’t the purpose of “press conferences” to take questions from, you know, the press? Not when repubs are involved…once a reporter started asking questions about this yahoo’s role in trying to overthrow the government on January 6th, they all started shouting her down and when she tried to ask a second question about policy…they all agreed that they were not going to talk about policy of any sort…and I agreed with that since they don’t have any policy other than to kiss trump’s ass…I wonder why anyone is surprised by this behavior? After all, in 2020 they didn’t even produce a platform for their party at the convention…again just kissing trump’s ass was the only thing mentioned…geez…
October 25th
Well…running really late today with not crawling out of bed until almost 7 and I’m having a hard time getting going…it’s raining again out there and I don’t mind that one bit…my lawn is getting green after the food I put on it so it should be better in the spring…ha,ha…that’s a laugh…going to need to seed it again in the spring….I hurt like crazy last night and my neck is still stiff today…my whole right side is hurting after the tree trimming…and I need to do the grocery run today…but I’m not sure about the bike rides today…high winds and rain are forecast so I may just be cooking and cleaning today…need to cook the pork shoulder today and I’ll make mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it….but first it’s a three store grocery run today with hitting DD for some stuff…it’s been a while since I’ve been there…crap, it’s 7:30 already and I need to get a post out to Mastodon before I jump in the shower and head out…but I can’t get to aldis before 8:30 so I guess I have time….more later…
Mark Meadows has flipped on idiot boy..
Well…damn I read this this afternoon and it just slipped my mind until now…it was announced today that former trump chief of staff Mark Meadows had taken and immunity deal to testify against the idiot trump…yep, this is the guy that was in every meeting that was held about stealing the election and can testify directly to what trump and everyone else said during that plot…so this time trump really is cooked and this explains the hail Mary filings his lawyers made in this case over the weekend trying to get the case thrown out…that is never going to happen so next year we’ll get the big trial that should put trump trump in jail for the rest of his life…we can hope anyway…geez…
October 24th
Well…damn, it’s 59 degrees out there so I’m going to be able to go out on the bike in shorts this morning for the last time…slept okay last night but I’m pretty darn sore from the work yesterday and most of it is in my neck for some reason…so I just hit it with biofreeze and will take some ibuprofen in a bit after I get some coffee down me…and I have the heating pad on my back to get ready for the rides…don’t have a lot to do today but clean after the rides since I still have leftovers to eat today…have the pork shoulder to cook tomorrow and I’ll do that in the instant pot with some onions and celery…going to use beef broth as the liquid and then make some gravy with it…need to do mashed potatoes and veggies, too…it was nice to get all of the tree work done yesterday but it was a pretty big pain that is causing me pain…it was so much effort that I’m feeling how old I am and I don’t like it one bit….need to cut back what I’m eating to take the pounds off that I’ve added over the past couple of months…not sure if I want to get back down to 160 or so but 165 would be okay…not much to do today…just the bike rides and I think I’ll wash the car this aft…then put the hose away since there is a freeze coming later in the week….more later….

Well…I’m sure you’ve heard by now of the news that the idiot trump shared nuclear sub secrets with an Australian businessman who then blabbed those same secrets with almost 100 people across the world…yeah, he did it…but now we know why idiot boy did it and that has started an investigation of espionage against the idiot and the businessman…and the whole thing keys on the fact that the businessman gave trump millions of dollars and trump wanted the money to keep flowing so he blabbed secrets to him to make sure that happened even though he lost the election…the money started flowing to trump right after the Russians installed him as president and the businessman joined the idiot’s tacky Florida club…and it just kept flowing as the businessman wormed his way into the idiot’s inner circle…and the kicker here is that the businessman knew the entire relationship was transactional…that he knew that he could keep access only if the money kept flowing and even told his friends that he was buying his way in…so now the question has to be answered “what was trump going to do with all of the secrets he stole?” It is obvious he was selling info to this businessman, so who else was he doing it to? I don’t have any faith that anything will happen to idiot boy for doing this…after all, nothing he has done has put him in jail so why would anyone think this time will be different? Geez…
