Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done…slept okay and feel pretty good this morning with being good for the third day in a row so maybe I’ll have to keep that up…I think my back has plateaued with some pain that I may have to live with and I’m not happy about that….but, I’m not coughing too much anymore so I’ll take what I can get…I did get my printer working again yesterday and got my fed forms printed out so I can get that in today…and that will pay my car insurance but not much more since I took out less from my IRA than last year…a good and bad thing….I did want to get a new laptop but there is not enough money coming back to to that…oh,well….not much to do today…need to get the taxes done and then I need to work on the leaning tower of papers to get them recycled today but that is about it….more later….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I felt like crap so I didn’t get much done….slept okay and feel better today so I hope that continues since I have some stuff to get done today….the bike ride was torture with no energy in the legs and I know it was from not eating enough…not sure if I rectified that yesterday or not but we’ll see when I get out on the bike today….and I was good last night so maybe that will help….and I will be good the rest of the week since I need some time off….my back seems to be better today but it was still crazy yesterday…no pain at all when I got up but the twinges are coming back as I sit here and do this….but it seems a little better so I’ll take it….not much to do today…I do need to start pulling the tax stuff together so I can get them in this week but that is about it…I do have some normal stuff to do around here but that may wait a couple of days….more later…
Ted Cruz is just nuts…
Well…haven’t been feeling too well today so I am getting to this one a little late…but, it is something that I just needed to comment on…that is that Ted Cruz is just nuts…how else do you explain what happened In NH the other day? When asked what he would do about climate change if he is elected, his answer was “nothing”…and then he launched into an 8 minute screed about how climate change is a conspiracy by liberals to expand the government and take away our “freedoms”….now, when I was young and the politics on the right were not so insane, this kind of nonsense would have gotten ole Ted laughed out of the room and the guys in the white coats would have come running with the straightjacket. But, these days, this delusional behavior is a requirement to get their delusional base to vote for them…..if you could see me, you would see me shaking my head with a dejected, resigned look…something like weariness that our country has come to this…geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done so that is cool…even got out for a while to have a couple with K and that was fun….but I feel like crap today and I am running late because of it….one good thing is my back doesn’t hurt and I’m not sure why…but I’ll take it….slept okay but not well if you can understand that….just can’t get started this morning and I think I’ll just have to write this day off and lick the wounds….back to coughing again and I am just so tired of it….I was hoping that it would be over but no such luck….I do have some stuff to do today but I’m not sure if I’ll do it or not….just want more coffee and more couch for a while…I will get out on the bike today once it warms up some but that will be a while…need to work out first and feel better…more later…
Marco Rubio is a robot…
Well….didn’t watch the repub debate last night since they are all the same as I’ve said before….but, there was one theme that came through in all of the commentary…and it made me laugh…Marco Rubio is a robot that had a glitch in his programming…in one three minute span, he gave the same canned answer three times…and the answers had nothing to do with the questions….to me, this shows just how unqualified this idiot is to be president…if he can’t think on his feet and formulate new answers to questions, how would he handle the uncertainty that comes with the job? Is he going to ask Putin to submit his challenges in advance so his people will have time to drill the answers into him? This is one of the problems that I see with politics these days…no one on the right has the intellect to take in new information and synthesize new answers without first running it by their pollsters to see if it will hurt them if they say it…even if it is the truth. After last night, I can’t see how anyone would think the empty suit Rubio is qualified to do anything other than managing a Mc Donald’s….and he would have to have his “people” help him with that…..geez….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made some cash so that was cool….slept okay and don’t feel too bad today with the bug finally starting to clear but I am still coughing and that has gone on for a couple of weeks now and it is still irritating…..didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I didn’t need to so I guess that works out…and today looks much the same but I am going to get a bike ride in and wash the car before the Man U game this morning…I am going to watch the super bowl later today but that will be about it for sports….I am a little curious about the commercials this year and it might even be an okay game and I guess I wouldn’t be a good Ameruuurican if I don’t watch it…I am more excited about soccer since Man U has Chelsea this morning and I hope they come to play today…if they lose, I hope Van Gaal is gone….not much to do today…bike ride then work until 11 when the match starts but that is about it…and two more of these today since there have been a few things happen that I want to comment on….more later…..

Well…it was a long, long day yesterday and I am feeling it right now…it started out with pool with Tom at 2:30 and I didn’t get back here after drinks with G until after 7….then cocktails here and that was just not a good idea….went to bed early since I can’t take the pace anymore…slept okay but still feel like crap today so, after the errand I have to run later, I will be doing a total veg today….I think I’ll start that right now with watching some EPL soccer and finishing my coffee….not much to do today…going to just lick the wounds for now but I may take a bike ride later…have to look at the trails to see how they are when I get out later…..more later…
February 5th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday…I wonder if I should change that up? It was a non descript day yesterday…just like the rest of them….nope…don’t like that….slept okay last night but the Wings lost again so that was not cool….I am still sore everywhere but the good thing is that the ibuprofen works to help that and I only needed to take one so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much…it is annoying, though, and for the first time I am starting to think I’m old…and maybe that’s how I’m going to feel from now on….didn’t get a thing done yesterday and today looks the same with a pretty busy schedule of errands, pool, and then out after pool…I’m going to need a rest tonight for sure…..and then tomorrow I have more to do but I can use the cash…..not much to do today….that’s not true…I will be running starting at 10 and going the rest of the day….it is going to feel good getting home tonight….more later….
