Well….running really late on this one today since I have been quite busy with stuff around here and I don’t really feel that hot…forgot to take some painkillers before the bike ride and now everything hurts…but, that’s not what this one is about….I didn’t watch much of the VP debate last night since I went out to have a couple instead and I really am getting tired of politics right now. But, I did read the analysis on all of the news sources this morning and came away with one thing…that Pence is just as big a liar as Trump…with one site showing that over 70% of what Pence said were lies…right in line with the Donald who did the same in his debate…and I do have to fault Tim Kaine for not calling him on the biggest one…that the Trump foundation and the Clinton foundation are equal…as you’ve read here, the Trump foundation is nothing but an illegal slush fund that Donald uses as his personal piggybank while the Clinton foundation uses almost 90% of what they collect to help people around the world…almost half a billion and counting. One thing that did happen is that ole Pence did start to throw Trump under the bus by trying to make the debate all about Pence…and the Donald was a little irritated about that…poor baby….one thing I wish Kaine would have done is to highlight the core of hatred for women that Pence has and his record of promoting discrimination against the LGBT community…really easy hits that should have bee made…geez…
October 5th
Well…it was an October morning, near the carousel…I met a lithe young beauty and we talked there for a spell…yeah, that line from Donald Fagen just popped into my head when I wrote October 5th…kind of an odd day yesterday with C in town and stopping in to chat for a few and then out with G for a couple late…got to use my headlights for the first time in quite a while and that was cool…and leaving the top down out and back was cool, too….did have to replace the bolt in the pedal arm on the bike with the original one since the threads on the new one just self destructed…and the weird thing is that the old one didn’t come loose the entire ride…weird….have lots to do around here today so I guess I should get at it…need more coffee first….more later…
More Trump foundation…
Well….yeah, I know…have been doing too much on Trump lately and I promise this will be the last one this week…or, I’ll try to promise it but he is just so ridiculous and it is fun to pick at the idiot…the latest one that just broke is more of the self-dealing that has been rife in his “foundation” since it’s inception. It seems that to get invited to speak at repub gatherings, ole Trump gave “donations” to the organizations that were sponsoring them….yep, they hated him so much that he had to pay to get to speak in front of repubs….and he got personal benefit from it which is against the law. I just don’t understand why Trump gets to just keep on going when one of the myriad scandals of his would have torpedoed any other candidate….there is blood in the water, though, and now maybe it will mean the end of Trump…I sure hope so…geez…
October 4th
Well…..not sure what is going on but the past couple of days have been a struggle to just endure them….and today looks the same or at least it has started out that way…I did have a dream about cats and goldfish last night and I’m not sure where that came from…it was weird enough to be enjoyable but it wasn’t….hmmmm….and I am sore everywhere again and I am getting really tired of it….I did start saving for the new bike and I hope to have enough by the end of the month to order a new one…but, they are out of the one I want so I have to wait anyway….not much to do today…I do have errands to run this morning and then I should clean this aft and I think I will…need to accomplish something….more later….
Trump Foundation update…
Well…I am laughing just a little with the latest news on the illegal slush fund called the Trump Foundation…just this morning, the AG of NY filed a cease and desist order telling the foundation that it can no longer solicit donations since it has never filed the correct paperwork or financial disclosures necessary in NY. So, here we go again…another shady deal from the Donald to go with the hundreds of others he has done across the world…now, the AG just needs to follow up on the illegal use of the foundation’s funds for personal gain by the Donald….the response of the Trump campaign was typical…not disputing that they didn’t follow the law and then personally attacking the AG for doing his job…this won’t end well for Donald…
October 3rd
Well….feeling like crap this morning and I’m not sure if it’s allergies or if I have a cold…all I know is I have been coughing since yesterday and my head is stuffy and hurts…probably should take some allergy stuff to see if that’s it….it was a big sports day yesterday and that meant I didn’t get anything done…again….and, the way I feel, today will probably be the same….just can’t get going and all I want to do is go back to bed….but, I won’t…need to work out and get the bike ride in or I’ll feel guilty all day….I am sore everywhere today…it hurts to just sit here and do this and that is a new one….I do have some work to do around here today and I need to get that done but I need more coffee first…and I didn’t have enough left in the coffee maker to have more than a cup and a half…I suppose I could make more but don’t even feel like doing that….more later….

Well…the reasons for the refusal of the idiot Trump to release his tax returns just got a little clearer over the past day or so with a story that the New York Times printed yesterday. Someone sent them a copy of Trump’s 1995 tax return that showed that he claimed a loss of over $900 million dollars for that year…and you know what his toadies are saying about it? That Trump is a genius…that he was super smart to lose all that money so he could use it to offset his federal taxes…yep, they actually called the idiot a genius for losing almost a billion dollars in the mid 90′s when everyone was making money hand over fist….and that huge loss has meant he has not paid any federal taxes for over 20 years…not like you and I who have to pay our taxes to fund the roads and other infrastructure that ole Donald uses for free. And, I’m sure that none of the $900 million was even his money…since he loves debt so much…I wonder what that wreckage looked like to the people he screwed over to lose the $900 mil? Pretty sure they didn’t think he is the super genius that Christie and Giulliani think he is…geez…
October 2nd
Well….man, what a long day yesterday with going out to have a few…or more…with G which got me behind for the night…and I feel it this morning…just behind on everything…the paper, coffee, and this and I know that I don’t like it too much…and the prospect of getting on the bike has absolutely no appeal to me right now…maybe after more coffee….other than that, yesterday was pretty much a veg day just watching sports all day and today looks like the same…Man U is on right now and then there are races and football on all day….so that will be my day….not sore at all but I will take something before the bike ride…I did look for a new bike and they have one just like mine for only 350 bucks but I don’t have it right now so I guess that will have to wait until I save some cash…okay, going back to the game and more coffee…more later…
October 1st
Well…it’s another dreaded first day of the month and that always depresses me if I let it…it was a pretty good day yesterday so maybe that will carry over into today…oh, I won at pool bur it was comical how badly both of us were shooting….glad I’m not so competitive anymore…it appears that the clutch bleed has helped…hasn’t fixed the shifting completely but it is much better….but I think I’ll still order a new cylinder to have it on hand…not too sore today even with going hard on the bike yesterday…my back is better today so I think I have that fixed….going to take it easy today and just watch sports all day…need to make a pot of chili, too, but that is so easy that it takes all of 5 minutes to put it together…more later….
Trump signs…
Well…since I’m already at the goal for the month, I don’t feel too badly about doing a short one…not a filler but a short one….out on the bike in the rain today, I saw a Trump sign and immediately a thought popped into my mind…those things remind me of the “I’m with stupid” t-shirts that were a big thing in the 80′s….from now on, whenever I see a Trump sign or bumper sticker, I’m going to think that they are with stupid…and you can take that two ways….
