Well…yeah, doing a political one this early in the morning feels a little weird to me but I ran out of news to read as I wait for C&J to be posted over at Kos so I thought I’d talk about this little nugget that brought a smile to my face yesterday…there has been a grand jury empaneled to look at the evidence that the idiot trump is a crook and deserves to be indicted…and, while that is reason to smile, you have to remember the old saw from a prosecutor from a few years back that stated that he could “get a ham sandwich indicted” since he is the only one that presents evidence to the grand jury…that said, there has been evidence for a long time, including testimony that trump has committed bank fraud for a long, long time and now Cy Vance has the tax returns to prove it. So, I sit here with my fingers crossed that the orange menace will finally have to pay for all of his criminality…wouldn’t it be nice to see the orange menace in an orange jumpsuit? That would make my day…but it will take time…probably the end of summer….

What the hell happened to RFK jr.?
Well….when you are the son of a consistent liberal who was assassinated and spent his life working to make it better for the regular American, how the hell do you end up hanging out with Nazis? That is exactly what happened with RFK jr. and now he is suing Daily Kos to try to get the name of the person that did the honest diary there that reported on Jr. meeting up with ultra right wing neo nazis in Germany…and we can’t ignore the first amendment issues here that the right wing consistently ignores except to bleat about it when their hate is removed from social media and they are “canceled”…not even understanding that private companies can’t violate your 1st amendment rights…that can only be done by a government entity of some sort….and here’s the thing, the right wing judge that got the case ruled that Kos has to supply the name and that ruling is being appealed….it has been reported that the entire Kennedy family is running away from this idiot and I wonder what is he getting by being a terrible nazi lover? Of course, all of this is just my opinion and that IS protected by the first amendment…but, if you were seen at a nazi rally, doesn’t that make you at least a sympathizer? I guess every family has their morons in them….
A republican disease…
Well…just read a really interesting article that proposes that since repubs are not going to take the covid vaccine, the disease is going to turn into an ideological one…with those on the left being immune and the repubs on the right continuing to be in danger of dying even though herd immunity could be reached for the rest of us. This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard…with fox news and the rest of the right wing propaganda outlets still pushing their idiot followers to reject the vaccine for whatever reasons they choose for the day, these folks are setting themselves up to continue to get sick and die for as long as the virus is still circulating…which will probably be forever if it is anything like the flu. But, most of them don’t believe the virus is a problem so I say let them…if you are still so stupid after seeing almost a million Americans die from covid that you can’t do the simple thing like get vaccinated, I have no craps to give for them anymore…and it will be better for the gene pool to eliminate these morons…
Why hasn’t bill barr been disbarred?
Well…we all know that former AG bill barr was as corrupt as they come, but the revelations of this week where he used the full might of the justice department to investigate to try to get dirt on a reporter from the Washington Post in direct violation of the first amendment…and this wasn’t the first time barr tried this crap…he got involved in trying to find out who was behind the parody accounts that went after devin nunes know as “devinnunescow” and others who tried to hold trump’s cronies accountable for their bullshit and lies. I really can’t understand why bill barr hasn’t been disbarred yet and his law license taken away for failing to follow his oath of office and the rules of the American Bar Association…look, I know we are all weary of hearing how bad these guys are…but we need to figure out how to get the Biden admin to hold these assholes accountable or the next ones will be worse and we’ll no longer have a democracy anymore…geez…
Don’t they have anything better to do?
Well….man, don’t these morons on the right have anything better to do? The latest conspiracy that all of the right wing nut jobs have seized on is that Joe Biden wasn’t driving the Ford electric truck that he was shown driving earlier in the week…and they think that Ford made a truck with two steering wheels so it would look like he was driving but Biden is too old and feeble to drive at all…never mind that he walked over to the truck and climbed in on his own…it is driving that he can’t do. There were even blurry photos that these morons say show a second steering wheel when the picture actually shows a camera sitting on the dash that a SS agent is reaching for to keep it from hitting the floor as Joe floors it…look, it these idiots want to compare Joe to the idiot trump, just look at the video of trump sitting at the wheel of a truck at the WH, not even touching the steering wheel but play driving like a 5 year old would…which one shows competency more? I’ll take the guy that gets in a fast truck and mats the gas…grinning all the time since he is not allowed to drive his 427 Corvette since he became president….those are the rules for presidents….and those on the right are just too stupid to know….
This is bad for trump…
Well…as I sit here waiting for the two posts that I read in the morning to go up at Kos, I just wanted to do a shorty on the bombshell announcement from the NY AG yesterday that the civil suit that the AG brought against the trump organization for tax fraud and a host of other charges, is being converted to a criminal investigation that is going to coordinate with Vance since the investigations are covering the same crimes and are using the same millions of pages of evidence that were surrendered when the SC declined to allow trump to escape investigation. Now, this may not snare trump himself since he operates like a mob boss and never puts his name on anything criminal, but his two baby boys are screwed since they supposedly are the ones running the organization…but I think it’s mostly Weisselberg who has worked for trump for decades and knows where all of the bodies are buried…and who is under intense pressure to flip on the orange menace. I know I’ve been talking about this for some time and hoping that justice finally catches up with these criminals, but this time the consensus is that someone is going down for this…and I can’t wait…
Women’s control over their bodies is over this fall…
Well…now we are sure that both Kavanaugh and Barrett lied their asses off when they both said that Roe v. Wade was settled law and that they didn’t see any reason to take any more cases that deal with a women’s right to choose…both of them just signed on to take up a case on abortion from Mississippi that was designed to get to the supreme court and take women’s rights back 60 years….and it will be decided this fall and you can bet with the 6-3 right wing majority that is the court now, that will mean that any restriction that any state wants to make on abortion will be just dandy with the SC…it isn’t even enough that there is only one clinic in Mississippi that performs abortions, these repub assholes won’t be happy until they make sure that women don’t have any rights at all…after all, their bible says they don’t and that is what they use to legislate in that backwater….this is just more of the same bullshit taking of rights that is the only reason for the repubs to exist anymore…just to hate and make sure that they crap on people they don’t like…I hate these people…
All because they couldn’t get paid…
Well…I’m sure you’ve heard about the huge pipeline serving the east coast that went down last week and the hand wringing that went along with it since it was supposed to be cyber terrorism…yeah, not so much…the truth came out yesterday that the pipeline company shut the line down since their accounting system was hacked and they couldn’t be sure to be PAID correctly…yep…they caused the deaths of at least two panicked people who filled their cars with gas cans and cost consumers across the country a billion dollars in higher gas prices all because these idiots couldn’t figure out how to get paid when their automated systems stopped working…there was never anything wrong with the pipeline at all….and, of course, they couldn’t tell the truth since it was not sexy to have their accounting system hacked but it was to have a huge pipeline that supplies most of the gasoline for the east coast hacked and shut down. Of course, no one is going to be held responsible for these lies or for terrorizing half of the country…that’s just not how it works anymore…lying all of the time has become a virtue for half of the country and infests everything that happens….I’m really starting to hate these kind of people….I’m sure they could have asked their customers for their data on how much fuel was delivered since their accounting systems weren’t hacked but I guess blaming a screw up by the company on terrorists makes them feel better…and these days, that’s all that counts…geez…
It’s a trap!
Well…how many of you knew that was a often repeated line from Star Wars? This time it applies to the repub response to the infrastructure bills that the dems are proposing…while the dems have included repealing the repub tax cuts for the rich to pay for it…the repubs have made it a key to their plan to raise taxes on the middle class and poor by instituting user fees that hit those groups the hardest as a percentage of income….and the dems are letting them go on about not repealing the rich people tax cuts as they prepare to go it alone after the repubs will invariably blow up the negotiations over Joe’s insistence that no one making less than 400k a year will have their taxes raised…and that is the trap that has been set by the dems…they know that the repubs will never allow their pet tax cuts for the rich to end and they are going to allow them to whine and bitch about it for a while…as the dems then plan to go it alone to pass this popular bill repealing the tax cuts that the public wants and then will hammer the repubs with it in the 2022 election…all the while emphasizing that the repubs tried to block the plan…pretty subtle and effective…and mcconnell is going to lose this one bigly….

Well…Joe, Joe, Joe…..I know you remember the bipartisanship from your time in the senate a long time ago, but are you listening to these assholes who you are trying to do a deal with? To start, turtle mcconnell has stated bluntly that his entire job is to make sure you are not successful and that any bill that will help the American people will be blocked and the tax cuts for the rich are set in stone and will not be touched…some bipartisanship, huh? Yesterday, after the idiot mccarthy walked out of the meeting you held to try to find common ground, he scurried right to the microphones and called you “corrupt Joe Biden” and promised that he would not even try to help the American people….so more bipartisanship? Look, Joe…these guys have shown you for years and years that they will never buy into anything that you are proposing so just leave them behind…your bigger problem is to get Manchin and Sinema to stop covering for ole mitch and start acting like dems…that is your real problem and is something you need to deal with and right now…or you can kiss your very popular agenda goodbye…get after it…
