Well…damn, Joe, don’t you remember raising your kids? You didn’t give your kids what they were throwing a tantrum about and you don’t give the repubs what they want as they hold the world hostage to give more tax cuts to the rich. It’s as simple as that…and yet news reports out there say that you are giving in to these terrorists just because you want to look bipartisan…if you do this, you are going to lose the entire dem caucus in the House as they have been begging you to just ignore mccarthy’s threats and let him crash the economy…and I would give up my SS payments for a few weeks if you just put a stop to this right now and do an address to the country telling us that it is the repubs who are going to crash the economy unless we hurt the poor and retired…that would play to the country and make your chance of re-election better…but that’s not even the point…negotiating at all just guarantees that the repubs will do it again…after all, you get the behavior you reward…and you’re rewarding mccarthy by just talking to him….geez…
