Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so that was cool…but, it took me over an hour and a half to get to sleep last night and I was up all night again so that wasn’t cool…not sure what to do about it since I have tried everything I know…oh, well…didn’t get much done but today will be better…I think…can’t be worse….I do have some errands to run today….need to find some black silicone to repair an abrasion on the top of the car before winter…and I do need to clean it and get ready for the color tour with the group Sat…hoping for 10 cars or so driving through the countryside and it is only for a couple of hours so I guess I can do that….need to make sure the mp-3 player is charged along with the phone…not much to do today…oh, already talked about that…more later…

Michigan political update…
Well….have been looking at some of the good news here in Michigan on the political front, and thought I’d so a short update on what’s going on. First, though, today is the last day to register to vote to be eligible for November’s election so get out and register if you haven’t already…and then vote…because if we vote, we win…it’s as simple as that especially here in Michigan where Obama carried the state by 10 points. The update has a little good news in it and a little not so good news….first, the good news. It looks like Gary Peters is going to defeat the invisible Terri Land if the polls hold that are showing him up by 8-10 points…it should be more given that she hasn’t talked to anyone during the entire campaign…depending on Koch money to air 6 million dollars of ads that are mostly blatant lies or fabrications hoping that people are too stupid to see the truth….it looks like the Kochs are becoming toxic to the people they are trying to install in their government. The bit of bad news is that Mark Schauer is trailing ole Snyder in the governor’s race and I just don’t know why….are people losing their memories? Don’t they remember that Snyder and his cronies are responsible for the biggest tax increase on seniors in the states history? And, that they gave that money away with no strings attached to the supposed “job creators” who have not created one job but have raised CEO’s salaries by 50%…wouldn’t the workers here like that kind of sweet deal? Don’t count on it….Snyder doesn’t give a damn about workers…and you can see that from his approval of right to work which is just code for killing unions and the middle class jobs they provide. So, good news and bad that can be turned into good if we just vote…that’s all….geez…
October 6th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but every team lost so that was pretty crappy…at least Man U won and they needed it with how bad they have been playing…slept crappy again and feel it this morning but it is warm enough to get on the bike early so that’s what I’m going to do since I have a couple of errands to run today….didn’t get much done yesterday but I didn’t have much to do so I won’t feel depressed about that…right now, that is…have to remember to lube the bike before I go out today since the water and mud have left it squeaking again and it is getting to annoying really fast….not much to do today…have to run those errands and then have to clean around here some but that is about it….more later…
Trying to not get too far behind…
Well…just took a look at the numbers and I’m already 3 down and we’re only 5 days in so I thought I’d better do something….the damn Lions are making me angry again, dangling the tiny bit of hope that they will be a better team and then this afternoon they yanked it away…looking a lot like Michigan and I am tired of it…now all that needs to happen is for the Tigers to lose and it will make it a complete day….yep, a little depressed today with nothing happening on the job front and not making any money…oh, made some last week so I guess I shouldn’t bitch too much….it was kind of funny today going out on the bike and having the computer not work…flashed back to Friday when I told Tom that all of my equipment has been working well and I couldn’t believe it…it was an easy fix, though, with just adjusting the pickup…..okay, the Tigers are going to lose so I need to change the channel….
October 5th
Well….running late again today but I know the reason this time..Man U started at 7 and that has taken my attention up to this point…slept okay and had some dreams about warehouses that I didn’t understand but I am not going to put too much thought into it…feel a little crappy today and I did it to myself along with the stuffed up head and coughing that has been going on for three weeks now…and I am really tired of it…haven’t been on the bike in two days but I am getting out this morning…waiting for the the temp to come up a little, though, since it is only 44 right now….not much to do today…there are races and football to watch along with soccer so it looks like another wasted day…more later…
Lazy day…
Well…when I got up this morning, I didn’t expect this kind of day…have done absolutely nothing today but watch sports…no bike ride, no nothing…okay, I did do one thing…I went out for the papers this morning…can’t remember a day when it rained so much..oh, yeah, Wednesday….I just haven’t gotten my head around the fact that the high today was 44 degrees…even put my heat on today for the first time since April….my brain has been on autopilot all day so there won’t be any political stuff today….I did read the papers but I don’t remember anything that was in them…oh, well…since it is after 6 I guess I’ll just write today off, watch some football, and wait for the Wings to come on….
October 4th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was something…back to sleeping crappy and today I have a pinched nerve in my right lower back that is causing pain down my leg that is really, really annoying…will probably need to take something before I get on the bike…and that won’t come for a while since it is only 44 degrees outside an I am just not ready for it to be that cold….still feel like I have a bug of some sort since the cough is still here and I just feel crappy…and, I didn’t win the mega last night so that is a little depressing….not much to do today…going to just lay low and watch races and football all day…I should clean some but I probably won’t…more later…
October 3rd
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a bunch of stuff done so that was cool…slept okay last night and had dreams of a town I’ve never been in but I’m not sure why I was there…weird….and, the Tigers got blown out last night so I guess I’ll move over to watching the Wings tonight….not sure but I think my skin is getting better… a little anyway so maybe no 500 dollar trip to the doctor….it looks like the rain that is happening now is going to continue all day so I think I’ll take the day off the bike…went out with it misting yesterday and it started to rain about a mile out and continued all the ride…soaked through but it was odd that it was okay…had this weird peace that came over me and it just didn’t matter that it was raining like crazy…not much to do today…going to just take the day off and then go out and shoot pool later….more later…
Politics and other stuff…
Well….just reading about some of the polls here in Michigan that now put ole Snyder ahead by a couple of points and the first question that comes to my mind is why? This is the guy who said, when he was running last time, that he didn’t want any new abortion restrictions to come to his desk…what happened when they did? Of course like any repub liar, he signed them and made them law. When asked about right to work that is decimating the middle class here, he said the same thing…he didn’t want to see it cross his desk. What did he do when it did? Of course, he signed it just like all the rest of the repub liars….when asked about the auto bailout he went along with the rest of the repubs and said “let the free market work” even though doing that would have killed the auto industry here in Michigan…and what is he doing now? Touting all of the auto jobs that have come to the state, taking credit for them when it was none of his doing…just like the rest of the repub liars…so, tell me folks…the voters who have seen this lying and mendacity, why are you going to vote for this liar? I am pointing this at you Dems…get off you asses and vote this idiot out of office before the giveaways to business takes your job…geez…
October 2nd
Well…running really late today and I’m going to blame it on doing the grocery run and then sliding over to Target to pick up a few new t-shirts…at 4 bucks a pop, how could I resist? It was nice to have the cash to buy them since I made a little money this week…slept okay last night and woke up feeling okay but I am still coughing from something…maybe the bug is finally breaking…at least I hope so….there were dreams again but nothing good so I won’t report on them…only want to do the cool ones that look like a Dali painting in my mind….I did get out to have lunch with a friend yesterday and it was cool to have Chinese food for a change…not much to do today…have to look at the radar to see if I can get the bike ride in and if not, I do have a bunch of stuff to do around here so maybe I won’t be bored today….and, the Tigers start the playoffs at 5:30 so I’ll be there for at least the first game…more later…
