Well…just can’t get started this morning and I wonder if I can even get through this one without coffee…nope…need to go get some….okay…I’m back….slept like normal last night so I won’t talk about that now…I did do a battery test on the new computer yesterday and it lasted over 7 hours in normal use….in constant use I would think it would be about 3 hours or so but that is much longer than any other one I’ve had so that is cool….didn’t get much done yesterday but cook and I won’t get anything done today…other than pool that is….I do need to get a bike ride in today but that won’t happen until later this morning…want to wait until it gets to 40 and that won’t happen until after 11….more later….

Flynn lied to the FBI…
Well…the new revelations today that Mike Flynn lied to the FBI and told them he had no contact with the Russians puts a new spin on this whole affair….the FBI knows he did with the NSA tapes of the conversation and there is no way that he can get around the felony for lying to them…unless…they are now questioning him and he is rolling over on ole trump and the rest of his minions….and now the guy who screamed “lock her up” at the repub convention is either going to go to jail or will bring down trump and his idiots….I just can’t wait to see how this one plays out….get the popcorn for this one….

Well…just a shorty on a little bit of news that I just read on twitter….a judge looking at Christie’s bridgegate scandal has found that there is probable cause to charge the idiot for all kinds of things having to do with shutting down a bridge as political payback to a mayor who wouldn’t endorse him…all I have to say is bye, bye Christie….hope you rot in jail….

Well…with the trump white house and the house trying to sell the spin that the problem with trump and his collusion with the Russians to fix the election is not the actual fixing but people leaking the information that it was fixed…the senate has taken up the mantle of investigating this lawbreaking and we have Chuck Grassley to thank for it…he and Dianne Feinstein have sent a letter to the FBI and justice department telling them they want all of the information they have on the trump collusion with the Russians, the first step in a full investigation that the house has refused to do…trying to protect trumps’s lawbreaking and attacking the people who are letting the American people know just how corrupt trump and his cronies are….I hope this is just the first step in the process that will make this American nightmare go away…and maybe even put trump in jail…we can hope…
We’re all immigrants…
Well…with trump’s immoral crackdown and rounding up of immigrants since his Russian fueled election, I have a few thoughts on the day that many cities are seeing an “immigrant strike” where many places that depend on immigrant labor are closing for the day to emphasize how much immigrants contribute to this society. Unless you are Native American, you and your family are immigrants and came here for the very same reasons that current immigrants do…for opportunity and to make a better life for their families…many escaping the prospect of death in their home countries. When my family emigrated to the US in the late 1800′s, we were demonized for being Irish, and were relegated to slums and the worst jobs as were most immigrants at the time…but there was significant difference then…as soon as immigrants set foot on US soil, they were on the path to citizenship and a way to integrate themselves into the US society, something that immigrants in this society can’t do with the current “hate the immigrants” culture that has been fanned by trump and that was instrumental in his hate filled campaign. Over the course of this country, immigrants have been reviled and scapegoated over and over again…and their contributions ignored…I hope this day of resistance does something to end that….
Tired of trump and his cronies…
Well…as part of the battery test, I am going to do a few of these today that you may think are fillers…and they may be but you’ve seen that before so you shouldn’t be surprised…and I am tired of writing about trump and his cronies so I may not do one about him today…we’ll see if I can work up the outrage to do one but I’m not sure I feel like that today…I already have an hour and a half on the battery and it is still reading 80% so I may just get the 4 hours it said I would….and that would be pretty cool but I’m not a huge graphics user so I should…most of my stuff is just text and that shouldn’t take much….I didn’t win the powerball last night but no one else did either so it will be almost 400 mil on sat…will spend another 6 bucks to get a shot at 200 mil cash….need to win…more later….
Oh, and I am already over the goal for the month so this month is going to be a big one….
Got the new battery…
Well…heading out to do the grocery run this morning and I found the new battery for the computer sitting at my door…two days early and that was pretty cool….I’m doing a test run now to see just how long it will last at full charge….it is kind of cool to have a computer that works like it’s supposed to but we’ll see how long the battery lasts…it is a factory Dell piece so I hope to get an hour and half out of it before I have to recharge it…we’ll see….
February 16th
Well….running really early today…it’s 6:15 and I normally don’t get to this until much later…but, I’m already bored after being up for a half hour and it’s too early to do the grocery run….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but didn’t have to so I don’t feel too bad about it….might have to do better today but the place doesn’t look too bad so maybe I will and maybe I won’t…..slept okay last night and had a repeater of a dream that annoys me so I won’t report it here….my lower back is still stiff and part of it is my hip…something that I’ve had off and on my whole life….probably won’t get on the bike today with the temp being 35 but I will tomorrow and it will be a top down ride out to pool with the temp in the mid 50′s….going to get ready for the grocery run now…well…not really….I am looking forward to the coffee after I get back here…more later….
Three provocations in one month…
Well…if you need any more evidence that the world and especially Putin has absolutely no respect for trump, you just have to look at the three provocations that Putin has done just since the idiot was kind of elected…first, he upped his attacks on the Ukraine knowing that there would be no response from trump since he had already promised to remove sanctions from Russia…second, Putin deployed a missile system that is illegal under treaty with the UN and what was trump’s response? Go ahead Vladdie, you don’t have to worry about me doing anything about it…we’re friends, after all. Third, just over the weekend, Putin has parked a spy ship 30 miles off the east coast to listen in on our communications…something that would never have happened under the “weak” Obama…again, trump does nothing about it but say “good job Vladdie old pal”….and goes back to his resort in Florida to hang out with his billionaire buddies….this is just the start…and you, repubs, need to do something about this idiot…I wonder why trump isn’t doing anything about Putin? Do you think it may have something to do with the dirt Putin has on trump? It sure appears that Putin is blackmailing trump to keep him from doing his job….so repubs, do your job and impeach this idiot…

Well…if you had any doubt that the repub house is full of partisan hacks that will do anything to protect a criminal president from their party, you just have to look at the length of time that Jason Chaffetz took to “investigate” Benghazi and Hillary’s e-mails where he found no wrongdoing at all…868 days and 10′s of millions of dollars that turned up nothing…not a damn bit of lawbreaking and yet he persisted in wasting the house’s time and our money…and when three investigative agencies tell him (and he HAS been briefed on their findings) that trump and his cronies broke the law and colluded with the Russians to throw the election, what is his response? That he is not going to do a damn thing about it…and I will keep hammering this home….if Obama had done one of the many things that trump has done and continues to do, Chaffetz would have been leading the charge for impeachment….why not now Jason? Do your damn job….
