Well…as the whitewash continues about the repubs involvement in the January 6th insurrection, the latest installment of that gaslighting was done just last week by Chuck Grassley on the floor of the senate when he spent an hour trying to normalize the idiot trump’s behavior that day as just “meetings” that all presidents do. He further went on say that every president has a right to talk to his advisors and that is all trump was doing that day and in the months after the election as trump and his minions plotted how to overturn the election. Yeah, Chuck…that was treason and no president has the right to try to overturn the results of an election…an election that was the most secure and accurate in the country’s history…and you trying to defend a traitor make you one, too….these attacks on the investigation are all part of the plan to make sure no one ever understands how deep the repub party and almost every damn elected repub was involved in this crime…and to make sure that trump is never held accountable for his role in it…but that is not going to happen….Nancy is going to get to the bottom of it and I hope that means the end of the repub party…and Merrick garland needs to prosecute every damn person involved…and lock them up….geez….

Everyone opposes Kavanaugh…
Well…after reading the news over the past couple of days, it appears that everyone in this damn country opposes the attempted rapist Brett Kavanaugh being elevated to the supreme court…except for the 51 repubs in the senate. At last count, over 1700 law professors have signed letters saying that Kavanaugh shouldn’t be confirmed…and that is along with two retired supreme court justices and almost 70% of the people polled on the question…and almost two million people who have signed a petition opposing him…making him the candidate with the worst polling and support of any in the history of polling….and yet, the repubs keep pushing forward with this scam that is destroying what little faith the people have in the senate…making the SC illegitimate in the eyes of most of the people and will make Kavanaugh the first sitting justice to be charged with a felony…or multiple felonies of perjury and sexual assault after the dems take back the house and do a real investigation…not the sham that has been perpetrated on the US by McConnell, Hatch, and Grassley. Anyone with any character or honor would have withdrawn with all of the crimes that have been exposed, but in his speech to the senate and yesterday’s op ed in the WSJ, it can clearly be seen that honesty, honor, and duty are foreign concepts to Kavanaugh as they are to every damn repub in this country…and again, it falls to the dems to save this country and clean up the repubs mess as we always do when we get back in control….geez…
The repubs truly are evil….
Well…the true evil of the repubs has been revealed with their new tax scam that they are trying to foist on the American people….I mean gutting everything that normal, working Americans need to make their lives livable just to give $1.4 trillion in tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires is just plain evil…and blowing up the deficit just to justify destroying Social Security and Medicare is just plain evil….and to do it without letting anyone even read the legislation that was written by 6,000 lobbyists is just plain evil. The contempt that the repubs have for the American people were distilled in two comments made by repub senators over the past few days…Orrin Hatch on the children’s health insurance program that he doesn’t think is necessary: “I have a hard time wanting to spend billions and billions of dollars to help people who won’t lift a finger to help themselves and expect the federal government to do everything”….yep, he actually said that low income children that benefit from the program aren’t lifting a finger to help themselves…I wonder if they should get jobs? Then we had Chuck Grassley today trying to justify repealing the estate tax by saying: “I think not having the estate tax recognizes the people who are investing, as opposed to those that are just spending every darn penny they have whether it’s on booze or women, or movies” Yep he actually said that people that work are losers and those who inherit wealth are the ones that need to be taken care of by cutting their taxes….so, working people, why do you still vote for these idiots? Impeach….

Well…with the trump white house and the house trying to sell the spin that the problem with trump and his collusion with the Russians to fix the election is not the actual fixing but people leaking the information that it was fixed…the senate has taken up the mantle of investigating this lawbreaking and we have Chuck Grassley to thank for it…he and Dianne Feinstein have sent a letter to the FBI and justice department telling them they want all of the information they have on the trump collusion with the Russians, the first step in a full investigation that the house has refused to do…trying to protect trumps’s lawbreaking and attacking the people who are letting the American people know just how corrupt trump and his cronies are….I hope this is just the first step in the process that will make this American nightmare go away…and maybe even put trump in jail…we can hope…
The republicans revealed…
Well…have been watching the races on tv but thought I’d better come back here and do another one since the repubs have another piece of hypocrisy that is making me shake my head…to the point of exploding. First, when the heck did the crazies on the right start believing that the government is going to start injecting chips into everyone in the country? Heard that nice little piece of crazy somewhere today but I don’t really remember where…but the second part of that is that, at a town hall meeting, Senator Grassley was asked if he opposed the chipping of people…of course he did, but the answer made my jaw drop…”nothing can be done to your body without your permission”…oh, really? Tell that to all of the women in this country that live under repub administrations that are forcing women to have invasive ultrasounds before they can even take a pill…that is the new law that has been proposed in Indiana…that even with non-surgical abortions, women are going to be FORCED to have a probing before they can sit in a chair and take a pill. I am so tired of these idiots attacking women but I also want them to keep it up…they may be able to do this crap now…but in two years they will all be gone and we can get back to good government and privacy…geez…
Oh really, Chuck?
Well…had to get this one out while I’m still seething abut it…I hope you’ve read about and have the same outrage that I have about comments made by senator Chuck Grassley yesterday about the bonuses that GM is paying out to it’s hourly and salaried workers…they are going to pay out about 400 million dollars since the company is profitable again after the trip through bankruptcy. Ole Chuck is bitching about the fact that they have only paid back about half of what they owe to the US gov’t and feels that there should be no bonuses paid until all of the loans are paid back. Oh, really Chuck? Where the hell were you when the big banks that were bailed out by the TARP program were paying out 20 times more than that in bonuses before the TARP loans were paid back? Not a fricking peep from you, Chuck, because those bonuses went to the rich and connected and just shows your underlying hatred of the middle class and the workers of this country.
Why isn’t this inconvenient fact being reported in the media? I guess it’s now our job to hold these hypocrites accountable….geez…
One last inconvenient fact….the three top guys in the banking industry got more than 400 million dollars in bonuses….that’s three guys, folks…and old Chuck is pissed because 76 thousand workers are going to share 400 million…but, as you know, he was one of the ones on the right who wanted the auto companies to just fail and go away because they have unionized workers…no matter that they are American workers in the middle class..or is it because they are middle class…
