Well…the dangerous new covid strain that has been circulating in Asia has made it to the US just as the idiot trump and his minions have dismantled the ability of the country to develop new vaccines against it…and this in the face of new studies that found that children who have had covid have severe developmental difficulties and people with co-morbidities are three times as likely to have circulation problems that result in amputation…so I guess I’ll be back in isolation mode and won’t be going anywhere but the one trip to the grocery store each week and I will be wearing my mask any time I go out…god, I hate the stupidity of the assholes running this country who are going to cause hundreds of thousands more covid deaths and I could be one of them…geez…

Well…damn, one of these day I’m going to take a day off…so worn out this morning that it’s all I can do is sit here and try to get one of these out…up at 4am today but was able to get back to sleep until around 6 but that is not enough…the damn heat is on again for the 7th day in a row and this is not like any May that I can remember…it’s only 41 degrees out there so that means I won’t be on the outdoor bike until after noon…but I need to get two indoor rides in before 10 when F1 qualifying is on…so I can wait a bit and have all of the coffee before I get moving…didn’t get much done yesterday but I do need to get the chicken in the freezer before it spoils and then plan some meals for next week…I do need to make some stir fry but I won’t get to the Masala until next week…need to get blood drawn for a full metabolic panel and another PSA test next week and I sure hope the cancer hasn’t come back…not sure what I’ll do if it has…it’s been almost two years since I had it cut out of me but I know they left some in there…not ready to die yet but if that is my fate, I can live with it…ha,ha…not much to do today…just need to drag my butt downstairs to get the day going but I am going to have one more cup of coffee first…more later…

Well…I wonder when the people of this country are going to get tired of the bully trump trying to control everything that happens in this country? A few weeks back Harvard sued idiot boy and his minions for trying to cut 2 billion dollars in funding Harvard gets to do scientific research as a punishment for not allowing idiot boy to control everything they do…and now bully boy is at it again Thursday saying that Harvard can’t have foreign students and telling the almost 7,000 students they have to immediately find a new school and leave Harvard…and the idiot’s reason for that is that they allow pro Palestinian demonstrations that make Jewish student uncomfortable…oh, and the second reason idiot boy made up out of thin air…that Harvard is conspiring with the Chinese communist party to do something that they are not really clear about…so, this morning Harvard filed a 71 page lawsuit saying how this latest action is unconstitutional and asking a judge to void the idiot’s order…this is how it’s done, folks…you push back on fascists and do your best to make his life miserable….and let’s remember one little thing…you can’t lie in court like the idiot does every time he opens his mouth so they are going to have to back up their claims with facts they don’t have….geez..

Well…damn, I don’t think I ever remember it being so cold so late in May…I mean the heat has been on for the past 5 days and it’s only 42 degrees out there right now…ick….and let’s heap not sleeping on top of that…up at 3:33 this morning and barely got back to sleep and I am damn worn out from it…I know part of that is busting my ass all day yesterday but I’ll have an easier day today to recover from it…the house next door did go up for sale yesterday and leaves me with some trepidation that they are going to turn it into a rental and I’ll have assholes move in that I’ll have to deal with it and I’m too tired to do that right now…it appears that I have cured the other rental problem since there hasn’t been a party over there since last Saturday but I’m sure I’ll have to add to the 20+ noise calls I’ve made on those assholes…yeah, I’m not in too good of a mood this morning and the lack of sleep will do that to you…not much to do today…just need to get on the bike and get the two indoor rides in…going to get an outdoor ride in but it’s not going to be warm enough until after noon so I think I’ll have lunch first…have to remember that I have bacon to make blt’s and figure out what food needs to be in the freezer today…chicken legs, breasts, and brats need to go in but there is not a lot of room in the freezer…more later…
A really busy day…
Well…darn, this has been a really busy day and I am just getting done at 2pm…started out with getting two indoor rides in, then made potato salad, then mowed the lawn, then washed the car while I was grilling some chicken legs, then out on the outdoor bike for a ride and then over to the library since it is going to be closed until next Tuesday and I needed to make sure I have enough books until then…I have 5 sitting here so that should be enough…I hope…I did put the top down on the car for running around and I’m starting to like the 6 disc changer in it…have to figure out how to turn on the automatic volume control just to see how it works…it’s finally Thursday and I can burn some of the good shows I have been saving on plex and I am really looking forward to it tonight…have been watching 2nd tier stuff all week and that is just boring….okay, reading time…
I don’t think they understand…
Well…with all of the lawbreaking going on in the idiot’s administration, I don’t think these folks understand that once idiot boy is gone, they can be charged for their crimes….how many pardons do you think idiot boy is going to hand out at the end of his term? I’ll bet he is going to have to start making them now and make sure that every person who facilitated trumps crimes is covered…and this is the type of crap I rail about whenever anyone says “they all do it” when it’s not even remotely true…you never saw once in the Biden years that they started to plan and give out pardons this early in a term…and I really hope we can take back the house next year and get some real investigations going of these criminals and at least hold their feet to the fire and stop this crap…geez…
May 22nd
Well…damn, it’s still raining as it has been for 3 days now and I don’t think that has happened in the 4 years I’ve lived here…and the heat is still running as it has been for three days and the high is supposed to be in the 50’s today…maybe…and I am going to try to get an outdoor ride in this aft…have never seen a May this cold but there is a warm up coming…I hope…and we’ll be back in the 70’s next week…for some reason, I only had one meal of a blt yesterday and I think it was that I’m not getting enough exercise so I just couldn’t eat…have tons of food in the fridge and have the ingredients for potato salad that I’ll make today…not sure if I’m going to grill today but I probably should do the chicken legs…I think the house next door is going up for sale and that is just going to make more work for me since I know they are going to turn it into a rental and I am going to have to make tons of noise calls when assholes rent it…it’s only 47 degrees out here right now and I am so damn tired of the cold…so, two rides indoors to start the day and then maybe one outdoors but I’m not holding my breath about that…okay, need to have more coffee and get on the bike in 30 minutes…and I need to mow the lawn maybe Sat…more later…
It’s quieter…
Well…as you know today was the first time I drove my new car with the top up since it was cold and raining…and the car is just so much quieter than the old one…had the headlights on going out and yep, the instrument lights are red but they look so cool I can understand why they did that…and it doesn’t leak at all…yay! Last week I put the grocery bags inside the cabin like I always did in the old car…but the width of the new car and the length of the doors made that a pain…so today I used my push button trunk opener and put them in the trunk and that made it much easier to unload them…little things make me happy…oh, and the defogger for the windshield works great and I didn’t have any fog at all…I did get two rides in today but bought way too much food…two kinds of chicken and brats, along with ingredients for both chicken stir fry and potato salad…so the weather needs to get better so I can get back to 30+ miles a day…

Well…the shit is going to hit the fan with the coming trump recession and the downgrade of the US’s credit worthiness has prompted Moody’s to downgrade all of the big banks too since the US is less able to respond to any financial problems with who is in charge…take that in for a minute…Moody’s is saying they have no confidence in the idiot in chief or anyone working for him because they look at numbers and not feelings or bluster…and with the coming middle class tax hikes that are being passed to give the rich more tax cuts, the buying power of the middle class is going to take a hit so that will make a feedback loop that is going to be ugly…on that same note, consumer confidence has plummeted and people believe that a recession is coming so big ticket purchases are being put on hold…and then lets add in the 500 billion dollar cut to Medicare that is in the repubs new budget bill and no one who is retired is going to have a penny to spend…hey, retired magas, you did this to us by voting for the dumbest damn person to ever sit in the WH…nice job…geez…
May 21st
Well…man, it’s still raining out there and I really wish it would be spread out some instead of flooding for an entire day…but the weather is weird out here so I guess that’s too much to ask…up around 4 am today but was able to get back to sleep until almost 6 and that appears to be the new pattern and that’s not bad…I’m glad the up and down all night isn’t happening right now but I’m still pretty tired…and the heat has been coming on for the past day and I still think that 47 degrees for a high in the end of May is still wrong…the website for DD hasn’t updated so I’m going to have to stop there this morning…and I need to hit HF across the street to get some AA batteries since I am out of them and they have the best prices…the coffee is not going down too well this morning and it needs to for me to get on the bike in 15 minutes or so…only getting to 52 today and it’s going to rain all day and tonight for another half inch so it looks like another slug like 16 miles on the bike…going to buy some chicken breasts so I can make a stir fry and some Masala later in the week…might get some chicken legs to grill with some corn on the cob…have a lot of potatoes so I’m going to bite the bullet and buy a dozen eggs for potato salad…along with some whip at over 5 bucks a jar…yow!
