Well..it was just another boring day yesterday that I spent prepping for the interview this morning…have to be there in an hour and a half so this one is going to be short…slept for crap last night but I expected it so no surprise….the furnace in the unit above has stopped making the howling noise it has been doing for the past year and it is just weird that it is quiet…might even be able to not wear earplugs anymore….other than the interview, not much to do today…going to stop at the grocery store to pick up cocktail materials for the Griffins game outdoor tonight and have some relaxation…more later…

Well….it was another boring day yesterday and I didn’t do much but wash the car and run some errands…didn’t sleep well at all and again, not sure I need to talk about that….I did get to watch a lot of hockey and the start of the Michigan game but didn’t make it very far since the thing didn’t start until almost 10:30….and, what I did see, looked pretty poor…haven’t seen the score yet but I’m sure it was a bad loss…I do need to do some interview prep today but that is going to wait while I get the brain working with coffee and couch….not much to do today…just Lions and prep so it looks like another boring day…it was nice to have some of the snow melt yesterday but the temp has already started to fall with highs in the teens for the early part of the week…I am really tired of the cold and snow and we have 2 1/2 more months to go…more later…

Well…just realized that I fell another one behind yesterday so I do need to do a filler since tomorrow will be taken up by interview prep and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do more than two…I did get the chance to wash the car today and put the top down running some errands which was fun…didn’t get anything else done, though, so that is a little depressing….man, just can’t think of anything to say right now….maybe in a little while…

Well…it was a long day yesterday and I lost at pool for the 6th week in a row so that was not good…but okay…slept okay last night but the cocktails last night were a bit much and I feel a little crappy today…okay, maybe I didn’t sleep too well…I am really tired still so I guess it wasn’t as good as I think…didn’t do much after I got back here as you can see so I’ve gone farther behind and need to get it done today….part of the tiredness is the fact that I haven’t gotten the calorie intake right without being on the bike…I think I was under 1,000 cals yesterday and that is not enough…not much to do today..going to do laundry but that is about it…more later…

Well…it was just another normal day yesterday…didn’t do much and slept okay…but now that I sit here and think, I really don’t remember much about the day….didn’t even clean at all and it looks like that won’t happen again today…since it is pool day and I’m just not motivated to start a project this morning…I do need to take some ibuprofen in a couple of minutes since my elbow seems to be getting worse again…and I have other random pains that are annoying me…not much to do today..pool, but then not much else will probably just veg with the tv later and then go to bed early from boredom as usual….maybe something exciting will happen to change that but I’m not holding my breath….more later…

Well…with the drought of news that has been plaguing me for the past couple of weeks, I am still struggling for topics…probably as I should be after doing almost 2800 of these….but, today…I may just do this one on the glimmers of hope that I see on the job front..there have been many more positions to apply for and I even have an interview for Monday…that, in itself, is cause for some sort of celebration but I am tempering all of this with the fact that once they see me, there will be no chance of getting the job…they just aren’t going to hire someone my age….but, the interview should be fun….but, as I said before, it will mean less fun for me for the next couple of weeks until I find out whether the job happens…probably do me some good to take it easy for a few days…I do need to continue to send resumes until then but I think I’ll take today off and continue tomorrow…maybe even try to get caught up here since a job will crimp my time here some…would be nice to relieve some of the boredom, though…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but with going over to K’s for a while and then having a cocktail night, I feel a little slow this morning…didn’t do much other than watch Doctor Who all day and cook a ham that will last me the next week or so…I do need to work out this morning since I skipped yesterday but that is about all I need to do…might go out for a couple with G later but that is about it…just can’t get motivated to do much else right now….so, I will go back to the couch and finish my coffee….more later…

Okay…think this one deserves an update since I did get a piece of good news today…finally have an interview after not getting one all year…for an ME job at a place called Challenge mfg…so I have to be good until after the interview Monday….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I again didn’t accomplish much…I did figure out what program was putting hyperlinks in all of my writing and websites that I read everyday…uninstalled it and all of the problems I have been having just disappeared…pretty cool…slept okay last night and feel okay today even with it being a cocktail night…the newspaper was so thin this morning it took about 5 minutes to read it and that is why I’m here so early…and I’m not sure why I paid a buck for it…I am going to try to get caught up today with three of these but, as always, I’m not sure what I’m going to write about…have all day to figure it out though…I did discover something pretty cool yesterday..was watching the old “Star Trek” series on Netflix and found that they have re-done all of the special effects to make them more modern…I wonder why? Looks pretty cool but the cheesy effects were what made the show…it does make it like a brand new series, though, so that is cool…not much to do today…I am looking forward to the “Doctor Who” specials today…the last with Matt Smith who I like as the doctor…not sure about the new guy they chose…should have been Simon Pegg….more later…

Well….as I’ve done all week, I’ve tried to come up with a political topic that would be interesting to anyone, or everyone, however you want to look at it but have just had no luck…been through the papers twice today and that didn’t help..so, I guess I’ll just noodle and see what happens…I have been exhausted today and I have just figured out that I only had about 1200 cals yesterday with it being a no cocktail night but I was also up at 5 so I guess that’s not a good combo…looks like the same thing is going to happen again today since I don’t have anything in the fridge other than tomorrows food and I don’t want to break into that yet…there was a cool post out on Kos a few minutes ago where Markos put up the holiday pictures of his family from the time he started the site and it was neat to see….and the comments showed what real family is and that it is not what the repubs continually say it is…you can be a good family person and still be a progressive but they seem to think to be a progressive with empathy for others is not possible….the site is an oasis in the hate of the internet and I appreciate having a place to go that all people are valued….okay, the tray from the chicken from a few days back is starting to stink so I need to put the trash out…more later…

Well…if you got past the anti christmas screed from yesterday, I will say that I am feeling better today and not nearly as frustrated…so, there will be no more I hate christmas posts…and the thing is I really don’t hate christmas, I’m just ambivalent to it…it is going to just be wednesday for me…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t got too much done but I’m okay with that…I am going to try harder today to at least vacuum and get the kitchen cleaned up…just so I can dirty it again tomorrow…I did get out to lay in supplies this morning and I won’t have to go out again until saturday…I am going to cook a dinner tomorrow just for the habit of it unless I hear from one of the kids…and, I do like ham so that’s what it is going to be…or not…it will keep until the weekend if need be…not much to do today…going to just veg it out today…I do need to go out and clean off the car and dress the seals so they don’t freeze shut….more later….
