well…look, I know I’ve talked about this trait of repubs to love trump until he screws them personally and this happened even before the maga idiots foisted him on us again…Kos has a nice series over at his site that highlights the remorse they are having…not about voting for idiot boy but because they don’t make the connection that it is trump that is cutting food stamps, disability pay, Medicaid and his tariffs are putting hundred of small businesses out of business…and every damn one of them say they didn’t know idiot boy was going to do what he’s done to the economy even though he told all of them just what he was going to do and they voted for him anyway…and a theme that runs though all these interviews is they voted for trump for his “morality” of they felt “rushed” to choose a presidential candidate…ha, ha…they had years to figure out who trump is and they ignored what was in plain sight…serves them right and I hope they all starve to death since they voted for that for “other” people…geez…

May 10th
Well…not sure what the heck is going on but I was up at 4 am again today and out of bed by 5:30 and that is just too damn early for me…or for anyone who is on a normal schedule…I think I’m going to have to clean the car out of the garage since it’s just a little too big to get in and out of the doors when it’s in the garage…but I have the glass done and I can put the beach sticker on and be ready to go out and get some swims in as soon as it gets warm enough…not going to buy a new beach chair since it wouldn’t fit in the new car’s trunk so I’ll use the 4 by 4 shipping pad I got from HF for my new beach blanket…but that is not going to happen til way into June…I sure hope the water is warmer this year…only had a few comfortable water days last year and I’m running out of years to swim…it looks like a one indoor and two outdoor ride day today and I need to wedge in the MotoGP sprint race at 9 so that gives me a lot of time to sit here and have coffee with it only 6:05 right now…might even have to make some pour over to get my old butt moving today…not much to do today…I really just want to go out and drive the new car but I don’t know where to go so I probably won’t…still too damn task oriented even at my advanced age and I need to figure out how to just fool around…have never been good at that….more later…
Got the glass done on the car..
Well…after I decided to only do three rides today, that gave me enough time to work on the car a bit so I decided to do the glass and rainx it and then clean the interior and waxed the inner door parts that everyone always misses…then I cleaned the under hood parts of the front fenders and the trunk and I’ll start on the wheels tomorrow if it’s not raining…have to remember to put the registration and proof of insurance in the glove box…there are so many clever little details on this car from the way the top folds to be it’s own cover when it’s down to the soft opening glove box and the little cubbys of storage that are behind the seats and between them…I did get the string trimming done this morning but put the trimmer away with the gas cap pointing down and it dripped all over my bike and made for a long clean up and it still smells in the garage…oh, well…
Impeachment is coming…
Well…here we go again, there are three dems in the house who are going to introduce articles of impeachment against the idiot trump but I’m not holding my breath that the speaker will allow a vote on them…and the thing is idiot boy is even worse than the last time when he was impeached twice so these should pass if any repubs grew a pair and took back the power that is rightfully the House’s that the idiot has usurped…so it will be interesting anyway to see how many dems pile on and present their own…will it do any good? Nope but I say do it anyway…we are all part of the resistance now and need to do our part…geez…
May 9th
Well…damn, it’s only 34 degrees out here right now and that is just wrong for the second week of May…woke up at around 4am today but was able to get back to sleep til almost 6 but that is not making me feel any better…have been trying to eat enough to support doing 30 miles on the bike every day but that’s harder than it looks…and I’m going to try to do two indoor and two outdoor rides today to go over 40 miles for the first time this year…but that means I need to get on the bike by 7am…just looked at the weather and it’s not going to be warm enough to go out til this aft so I guess start time can move back a bit…I really don’t have any big tasks to complete until I need to have blood drawn on the 26th so I am just going to enjoy the lull and take it easy for a change…it’s going to warm up into the 70’s for the next few days and I wonder if it’s time to go into shorts for the year yet? Don’t have any that fit me so I may have to buy a couple new pairs after losing a few of inches off my waist…not much to do today…just an easy wing it day after getting everything done yesterday…so I’m going to pour more coffee down and wait for it to work…more later…

Well…finally got the paperwork done for the car at a cost of almost 700 bucks so I’ll need to stop spending for a couple of months to get some money coming in…was pretty easy and only took about 10 minutes to do all the stuff I had to do so that wasn’t bad…had the top and windows down for the fist time and they really have done a nice job of wind management since there was no buffeting even with the windows down…and the injector cleaner I put in this morning really smoothed the idle out and I’m pretty sure it’s just from a little condensation in the fuel tank…I really do need to eat more…when I don’t eat enough, the caffeine from coffee makes me jittery and my hands shake…so I might need to have three meals today to catch up…okay, I did stop at the library to drop off two books and pick up three more so I think I’ll read for a bit….
Trump screws the people…again…
Well…if it wasn’t bad enough that the idiot trump is hitting the middle class and the poor with his stupid tariffs that are raising prices of damn near everything in this country, now he is going to attack people with student load debt by cancelling a program that paused payments to give borrowers a little “breathing space” during the Biden administration…but now idiot boy and his minions are going to take borrowers bank accounts and even start taking their wages…and a lot of these people are barely getting by now but to idiot boy that doesn’t matter…so as soon as he does this, it’s an automatic hit to their credit score that may keep them from getting car loans or even renting an apartment…again, he just doesn’t care about anyone but himself…there is going to be economic fallout from this when the millions of borrowers have to stop buying anything sine they won’t be able to afford it…this is what you voted for you maga idiots…I hope it smacks you right in the face…geez…
A pretty good life…
Well…as I sit here finishing up the coffee and getting ready to get on the indoor bike, the thought hit me that I really do have a pretty good life as I head to the end of it…I mean I have the house and car sorted and don’t really have to do anything about that anymore…and the new car makes me grin and even with burning through almost 15 grand, I still have enough cash to be comfortable and most people can’t say that…so I’m going to enjoy this day and the rest of them that I have…the idea that I have a car that I can take anywhere that I want liberates me from the trapped feeling I had with the old car failing as it was…not sure if I’m going to do the one lap of America but the fact that it is a choice I have with the new car makes me feel like there are possibilities I didn’t have a couple of weeks ago…so now it’s time to get on the bike and get this day moving…
May 8th
Well…up at 5 am again today and I’m really not sure why…I mean I’m working my ass off to get things done and it should tire me out but it’s not…so I sit here before 6am trying to figure out my day and I think I have a plan…not going to skip the indoor ride like yesterday since it really does jump start my day and gets me going…I had a hard time getting going yesterday without it and don’t want to do that again…going to be eating some bad for me food the next few days and I don’t really care…going to make chips and cheese and some sandwiches with ham and turkey I got yesterday…and maybe some bean burritos…who knows? I do have to be at the SoS office at 1:40 to get the paperwork for the car done and that is going to cost around 900 bucks but then I’m done and I’m going to enjoy getting that done and the car officially mine…then I need to go to the library to get a couple more books to tide me over into next week…I did get the lawn mowed yesterday and I need to run the string trimmer to get the yard finished up but that won’t be til tomorrow…so, not a lot of urgency to get going today and I can have more coffee and ease into it…more later…

Well…you know, I am getting tired of the moron in the WH speaking for the country…especially when he makes no damn sense at all…when meeting with the Canadian PM, idiot boy downplayed the effect of the tariffs on trade with Canada saying that we do “a little trade” with Canada…and he is too stupid to understand that Canada is our biggest trading partner with the US importing 412 billion dollars total last year…and then the moron went on to brag that he “fixed” California’s water problems by flushing water out to sea…I wonder if he made it rain and snow, too? That is why their water problems have lessened not anything the moron in chief did…and he pushed the PM about the whole 51st state nonsense and the PM just sat there looking at him probably wondering why he was wasting his time with idiot boy…geez…
