Well….didn’t want to make the title too long so I’ll flesh out the thought here…not sure if I’m looking forward to this year or not….we have just survived a year of the idiot trump and the only thing I’m thankful for in that is I have had lots of topics to write about but it has also made me a one note writer…and I am going to try to change that this year…after all, writing about the idiot gives him exactly what he wants, attention, and I for one don’t want to give that asshole anything…and there are lots of topics out there…science and sports for a couple and music, and weather…you get the idea. Have never been a resolution person….and the standard one of losing weight is something that I work on every day, especially in this dead time when I am off the bike…and to create stress by trying to live up to some artificial goal is not something I want to do anymore…oh, I know, I could do one about moving along on the next novel but I don’t work like that…it usually just comes to me and trying to force it is not fun…and writing is supposed to fun…to me anyway, and it comes through in the writing if it isn’t…maybe I could resolve to make guacamole today…would that work…and the second one could be to eat it…now that would set me up for some successes the first day of the year….and that is a good way to start….more later…

Oh, one last thing….you should go over to Kos and read Hunter’s rant this morning…he just kills it with righteous indignation and it made me laugh…and that’s a good thing to start the year…
