Well…as part of trying to get my cholesterol down some, I have cut red meat out of my diet…and that includes both beef and pork…that is, until today…I found a couple of pork chops in the freezer that needed to be used so I made one of them for lunch today…not sure if I feel guilty about it or not but I still have another one in the fridge that I’ll have to make tomorrow…one of the problems with not eating pork anymore is the fact that it is so cheap…they have pork loins on sale for 1.15 a pound tomorrow and I am getting tired of chicken…but, they also have turkey breast on sale for 99 cents a pound so I guess I can live with that….I mean, 6 pounds of turkey for 6 bucks? Can’t really pass that up…oh, and I did have red meat a couple of weeks ago…but, it was venison and it’s so lean that I’m not going to count it as red meat….I DO get to make the rules after all…
