Well…nothing earth shattering in this update…just sitting here waiting for the temp to come up and the rain shower to stop so I can get on the bike so I thought I’d come here as I have my last cup of coffee for the morning…it did rain last night but the water int he tops is no worse than after I drained some of it yesterday so it appears that the top repairs are almost successful so far…now, I just need to have it dry out so I can finish the repairs…I did go over to Meijers to get the turkey breast but they were out of them…grrr….but, one of the people who work in the meat department subbed another brand so I got a better one for the same price and that was cool…and I just checked and I can brine it in the instant pot pot and don’t have to drag out the huge roaster that I use for whole turkeys…and this one is over 7 pounds and still fits fine in the cooker so I can’t wait to cook it tomorrow…hope it thaws in the brine overnight….more later…
