Well…just got done doing 5 miles on the bike indoors and have some first thoughts that I want to share…yow! Sweating like I just did 15 outdoors in 80 degree weather….it is louder than I thought it would be but knew that from the ratings on Amazon that it was not quiet…so I think I’ll use it when my neighbors are gone …it’s no louder than a vacuum when I get it to 15 mph and it does allow you to get into a rhythm so that is cool…I was a little concerned that it didn’t have enough drag to it and it would be too easy to pedal but that is not the case…I even turned it down a bit and that helped with making it smooth…the bike is very stable, too, and I can get on and off the bike just like I would riding outdoors and that is a pleasant surprise for a unit that only cost 39 bucks…and with free shipping that made it even a better deal…I’ll probably wear it out over the winter, though, and that’s okay…I’m thinking that this will be a test unit to see if I like riding indoors and I can get a nicer one next year…and I got it with points so it really didn’t cost me anything at all…and that’s the kind of deal I like…
