Well…damn, just finished putting the hinges on the door to the attic and started on leveling out the insulation and looked at the clock and it had been more than three hours since I started up there…how the hell did I go from a 5 minute job putting the hinges on to spending three hours up there and eating dust for the entire time? I think it was my cordless drill/driver going dead after only two screws were in and having to wait for it to charge up enough to finish…so, while I waited, I decided to get after leveling out the insulation that was just in piles all over the attic…had to start with getting some of the fiberglass stuff an cut it up and stuff it into the openings of the wall between the kitchen and dining room since they were open all the way down to the floor and that wall is always cold….so then I just started stuffing the fiberglass bat into the spaces between the joists and then fill around it with the blown in cellulose that was just in piles all over…got about a third of it done before the battery was charged up enough to finish the hinges and by that time the dust mask I had on was completely plugged up from all the dust up there and I had enough….so now I’ll have to get more masks before I can finish and I think I’ll do that tomorrow since I want to hit Menards for a three paddle led light for the garage they have on sale for 6 bucks to get more light in the garage…but now, I’m done for the day…
