Well…I was disappointed last week when I read that they were going to move the trail across the point in the condo project away from the water even though they promised not to…but today, I had a pleasant surprise when I read that the developer and the mayor put out a statement that made it clear that the trail is going to go right back where it was and they are going to add a second bypass trail that people can use if it’s too busy across the point…and they made it clear that the whole of the property other than the marina is going to be open to the public with places to fish and just sit when it’s done…not sure how people paying a million dollars for one of the condos are going to react to that…I just hope that we users of the trail respect that this is people’s homes and treat it better than they do up here…so I’ll be riding on the trail by the end of July if they stay on schedule…can’t wait to see it…I did get out today to Menards to get lawn food, weed killer, potting soil, and some seeds to plant to get my garden started inside…not going to rush it like last year…
