Well…I’m not sure if I’m going to make the leap from dems performance in special elections lately to the 2026 general but I will say I think people are getting damn tired of the repubs ruining this country…in a special election in RI for an open seat in congress, in a district the Kamala won by 11%, the dem won with over 83% of the vote to 16% for the repub…and that makes it a 56% over performance which is just stunning and follows up on many other special elections where the dams have won almost every time…even in red districts dems are winning or coming close to winning where they shouldn’t…and with the House repub election committee recommending that repub house members not hold any town halls after the debacles at the few they have held, you really can feel that there is change in the air…but our side needs to get better at messaging to inform the public that the ideas they like; protecting Medicare, Medicaid, and SS are dem ideas and the repubs only want to destroy everything good in this country…should be easy, huh? It’s not going to be and that’s what has me shaking my head…geez…
