Well…haven’t done a trail one in a while and today gave me a topic….when I was on the downhill from my last water stop, a group of about a dozen goldfinches took off out of the goldenrod and flew down the trail right in front of me….they were only about 4 feet in front and flew just in front of me for almost 50 yards…one of the coolest and weirdest things in quite a while….made me smile….more later…
