Well…with just watching the news this week, it is very clear that the rule of law is gone in this country with the scandal a day pace that the criminal trump administration has been racking up…and, I’m going to take an unpopular position here…it’s the dems fault. Nancy Pelosi has the tools she can use to hold these assholes accountable but we hear not a peep from her…oh, they talk about contempt and tut tut about how bad trump is, but they never do anything about him as he breaks another law today by taking the whistleblower report that they are never supposed to see and spreads it around the WH for everyone to read…where is the impeachment of Bill Barr for driving this behavior? Where is the impeachment of Barr for breaking the law as much as trump does by inserting the justice department into this scandal when the law specifically forbids them from getting involved? Stop the damn talking, dems if you are not going to do anything about trump and his criminal cronies…and that goes for you Schiff, Nadler, and Swalwell along with Pelosi…I am getting disgusted with your inaction…and with that inaction, you are no better than trump…

September 20th
Well…running about on time this morning with getting up at 5 or so but no luck with getting back to sleep today…and I am a little tired but no coffee yet so that may help…I did get some good news yesterday that the windows will be installed at the house next Tuesday so that will finish what is necessary to get the water on and the condemnation lifted and I hope that will happen next week, too…it has been a lot of work to get to this point and I still have a lot to do but I should be able to have everything working next week after starting the water heater and looking for plumbing leaks…but, no work today…going out to shoot pool this morning and I won’t want to go over to work this afternoon and that is okay…or tomorrow since I am making a run up to Mt. P for some business and that 200 mile trip takes a lot out of me…but, I don’t work much on the weekends anyway so it’s no big deal…and I won’t get anything done around here today but get stuff ready to take over to the house Monday…and maybe some cleaning…who knows? How much bigger of a green light do you need, Jerry?
Well…with the spectacle of Corey Lewandowski lying and refusing to answer questions form the Judiciary committee this week with the smarmy, entitled look on his face, disrespecting chair Jerry Nadler all the while, and Nadler not doing a damn thing about it…Nancy Pelosi gave an interview where she said that Lewandowski should have been held in contempt ‘right then and there”…and my only question I have for Nadler is “how big of a green light do you need to hold these little pricks accountable for their lies and obstruction?” Look, I know that people on our side are still hoping for a return to “normalcy” in the congress but wake the hell up, there will be no normalcy until every damn repub is gone…have you had your frickin eyes closed for the past 30 years? Have you not seen that the repubs will break any law and lie, cheat, and steal to stay in power? Jerry, you have no choice here…you are the one with the power to restore the rule of law and every time you sit on your hands and let these assholes get away with not following the law, you aid and abet their dismantling of our democracy…so, get off your ass and hold these criminals responsible…or history will not treat you well….geez…
September 19th
Well…hey, it’s not my fault…I didn’t come back for another one yesterday and I had a good excuse…my internet was down here from the time I got back from the house until almost 11:30 last night and there was no way I was going to try to do one while I was ready for bed…one good thing with the outage was I found a book that I hadn’t taken over to the house and read almost half of it as I sat here bored last night….but, even staying up late didn’t help with sleeping and I was up at 5:04 again this morning and that means that I hope there will be a nap in my future after I run all my errands this morning…after I started working on getting the hallway at the house prepped, it turned out to be a bigger job than expected to do it right and I still have more work to do on it Friday but I hope to paint, too, and that will leave me with just the bedroom I’m going to use to get done….so only a couple more days of painting and then I can get started on the cleaning which will take quite a while…okay, the coffee just finished so I am going to get a cup and read some news so I can get back on schedule here with a political one later….more later…
September 18th
Well….damn…the battery on the laptop failed yesterday and I need to spend 37 bucks to get a new one…and this one has only lasted 4 years after I had to buy it when I got this computer…or maybe it’s longer than that…not sure…all I know is I feel like crap this morning and I don’t even want to go out for a ride since I have no energy either…I did get out to have a couple with T yesterday and that was fun…got to see her new car and it is pretty cool…and she is averaging 42 miles to the gallon which make me a little jealous since my tiny car never gets much more than 30…okay, just realized part of feeling so crappy is that I only had a half chicken breast and a sandwich for the whole day and did two rides yesterday….nowhere near enough fuel to support that but I don’t have any food here that is not frozen other than pasta so I guess I’ll have that for lunch today….I can make a bean burrito too I guess…I do have that stuff here, too but I am going to hit DD this afternoon to get some chicken…after I go over and paint today that is…if I can muster up the energy…more later….
Okay Nadler, it’s time to lock them up…
Well…I have a message for Jerry Nadler, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee…lock them up, lock all or them up if they ignore you subpoenas or do what Corey Lewandowski did to you today…laughed in your face and refused to answer any questions you put to him…you need to protect the rule of law in this country and it appears the only way to do it is to cause some pain to these assholes who think they are above the law…and if you’re not ready to do that, you might just as well hand over the country to Putin since he already runs trump and you are allowing him to break the law every damn day and you are the only one who can hold him accountable…and yet, you sit there letting these pricks either not show up or lie to your face and you do nothing…you have the power, use it to save this country…lock these criminals up until they follow the law…every damn one of these smarmy assholes deserve jail time…they deserve to rot until you say they get out…it’s the only way to get the truth of trump’s criminality and you are blowing it in front of our eyes….get off your ass and drop the hammer…
September 17th
Well…running about on time this morning even with getting up at 3:14 for the first time but I was able to go back to sleep until the coffeemaker alarm clock woke me up at 6 so that wasn’t too bad…..and I’m not too sore this morning so it looks like a good start but we’ll see when I get out on the bike in a little while….I did start stripping the living room here and loading up the car to start the move last night and it looks weird without my stuff here anymore…will have to do that every day to be able to get out of here by mid October….I did get the living room done yesterday but today is a no paint day since I have more prep work to do and I only have a half gallon of paint left after putting a second coat on parts of the kitchen yesterday, too where the pink was bleeding through…I did get two rides in yesterday and the afternoon one was okay but the damn 5-6 shift that I thought I had fixed is hanging up again so I think I’ll WD it before I go out today…that is just damn annoying when it worked perfectly Sunday…I do have errands to run after I get back here today so it is going to be a busy one but the work at the house is going to be light so that will be okay…more later…
RIP Rick Ocasek
Well…another one of those that I just hate to do…Rick Ocasek of the Cars died yesterday at the age of 75…I know that as we age, this is going to happen more and more often, but it doesn’t make it any easier to take…I really liked the Cars from their first album when I heard “Let the good times roll” and it became the soundtrack of any time that I had to myself when my kids were little and school and work and kids got to be a bit much and I had to get away…and the pair of songs from “Heartbeat City”, “Moving in stereo” and “All mixed up” just spoke to me where I was emotionally at the time…and “Drive’s” protagonist saying “Who’s going to tell you when it’s too late? Who’s going to tell you things aren’t so great? Can’t go on, thinking nothing’s wrong…who’s going to drive you home, tonight?” just ached with the realization that a friend has done everything he can do and needs to let go….I still listen to the Cars in almost every playlist that I have and the fact that both Ben Orr and now Rick Ocasek are gone is going to make it a little more empty when I hear them…RIP Rick…
Trump gets told to stand down by Putin…
Well…I’m sure by now you’ve see that gas prices went up by 43 cents a gallon today in response to the attack on a Saudi oil production facility that cut their output in half…and of course trump’s reaction is that the US is “locked and loaded” and waiting for the Saudis to tell him who to attack…which should be an impeachable offense right there…but a funny thing happened today when the Russians issued a statement essentially saying that heated rhetoric is not doing any good for peace in the mideast…and an hour later a spokesman for trump comes out and says that “locked and loaded” just meant that we are okay here in the US and don’t need to import any oil to meet our needs, not that we are going to attack anyone…kind of a funny coincidence that just after Putin says “heel” trump kisses his ass and does what he says. When are we going to get rid of this traitor? Now that you can see that trump is taking commands from Putin, what are you going to do about it repubs? For the millionth time, nothing….we may just as well just shut down the government and just let Putin run the US, too, since he is doing it anyway…geez…
September 16th
Well…damn…my neck is back to hurting again and I thought that was over with quite a while ago…in exactly the same place as before and it makes it tough to even turn my neck at all…oh, well…slept okay last night even without the sleeping pill so I’m done with those again and I do feel better this morning without it….I’m not sure what happened yesterday but I can’t remember feeling that rotten in quite a while and thought it may have been a bug of some sort….or bad allergies again which I have all the symptoms of….but, the flonase I have been using to help that screws with your immune system so I have had to curtail that use along with no red dots to keep my blood pressure down…you would think that all the riding I do would control that but it doesn’t and that is pretty frustrating….so, I suffer with the allergies and hope the pollen goes away soon…didn’t get anything done yesterday and today will be house work all morning so maybe the kitchen will be cleaned this afternoon? Who knows? More later…
