Well…haven’t talked about the illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine in a while so, with what was reported this morning, I thought I’d just do a shorty on it…the amount of equipment that Russia has lost is just staggering…I mean almost 3,000 tanks, thousands of artillery pieces, thousands of armored fighting vehicles…you get the point, they have been bleeding equipment almost on a daily basis…just yesterday they lost 8 tanks…and with the sanctions in place, the Russians really can’t replace them with the semi modern tanks they were sending…they really don’t have a modern tank that can match the Leopard 2′s or the M1 Abrams that we are sending them in the near future…so what is Russia’s response? They start sending even older tanks that they had in storage in Siberia or someplace like that…just today photos were posted of tanks that were made in the 40′s…late 40′s I guess but at least designed in the late 40′s….by comparison, if we sent tanks of that generation, we’d have to dig some Shermans out of museums to go that far back….where do you get parts for something that old? I do know that one Leopard or Abrams could take on 30 or 40 of those old relics and come away unscathed…remember that in the Iraq war, not one Abrams was lost to the same tanks the Russians are using in Ukraine…so the ones they scraped off the bottom of the barrel are really not going to do much….but, hey…keep sending them, they will make great scrap metal….

March 22nd
Well…that sucked…up at around three and out of bed by 5:36 and I am worn out….it was one of those times when you wake up, roll over, and know there is no point in even trying to sleep more…so I am going to be worn out all day today….had a good day yesterday and got 31 miles in on the bike but it is going to be a struggle to get 16 in today…I could go down right now and get one in before the grocery run but the coffee isn’t even done yet and there is no way I’m doing that without coffee…so, I’ve got about two hours to kill before I can get going…think I’m going to stop at Menards this morning to pick up the manure I need for the garden so that will be a Sternberg road run today….I can feel the pain from riding outdoors and my back is about an inch from seizing up so I probably should heat it before I get going….I don’t think there is going to be a spring this year with looking at the 10 day forecast that has the highs staying in the 30′s and 40′s and that just plain sucks….oh, well…not much to do today…just the grocery run and then riding but I do need to clean my bedroom today to get rid of all the dust and I hope that helps the allergies… going to be in low and slow mode for the morning to conserve energy….more later…
31 miles in today…
Well…I gave in…went out to check the fluids in the car and it felt warm enough to ride but the wind was iffy…so I thought about it for about a minute, suited up, and took off to get 15 miles in for 31 total for the day….it was nice actually and the wind was blowing out of the south so it wasn’t too bad…there were a couple of hundred ducks off the point today and they were not Mallards so I’ll have to look it up to see what they were….they are putting in the trail detour so it looks like I’ll be cut off from the point this summer and that sucks…it’s the best view on the trail and I’ll miss it…already feel pretty sore after being outside but I won’t be able to get out again this week with the rain that is coming in…crap…oh, well…have almost 700 miles indoors and that is close to what I had in last year before I was able to ride outside every day…and I am not going to take days off like last year…I’ll just ride downstairs….

Well…read an interesting article yesterday that showed that every damn repub president since Eisenhower cheated to get into office…starting with Nixon who sent campaign people to South Vietnam to sabotage a peace agreement that LBJ had worked out between the North and south so Humphrey couldn’t run on that against Nixon…costing another 20K American lives and a million more Vietnamese just to get elected…and Reagan did the same damn thing running against Carter when he sent campaign staff to Iran to get them to hold the hostages until after the election, promising them a deal that would ensure they could get the spare parts for their American weapons after Carter already had a deal in place to get them released…and that morphed into the Iran/Contra scandal where Reagan committed treason and got away with it…sound familiar? Of course the we have Bush 1 who famously attacked Dukakis with the Willie Horton racist ads..and whose operatives fanned out across the country getting people thrown off the voter rolls….and then Bush 2 who used the Supreme Court to put him into office by stopping the vote counting in Florida which a study a little later by the NYT where every ballot was counted by hand found that Al Gore had won Florida by 5,000 votes and should have been president…and of course you know that the idiot trump was installed by Russian interference and paying off pornstars…I really don’t understand why this is not front page news across the country…not one of these repubs were legitimately elected…and yet we still live the damage that every one of them did…and no one cares…geez…
March 21st
Well…up at 6:21 this morning and I still feel pretty worn out…hope that goes away after some coffee…had an okay day yesterday and even got a few things done and I am thinking about trying to get a ride in outdoors today and I wonder if that will be in addition to two indoor rides or one and one? That’s too much to think about right now….I do need to clean my bedroom to get the cobwebs and dust out of it and that may help my allergies that got really bad yesterday afternoon…I do have to get the grocery list together today since I have a lot of stuff to get tomorrow after I made room in the freezer cleaning it the other day….really need to think about my diet and change things up since I have a tomato and cheddar left so I should make some nachos today but I still have ham left to be used and can’t waste that….I do need to check the fluids out in the car today before I run over to Sternberg road tomorrow…the steering on the car is good again and I don’t want to get air in it….and I should wash it again but that will be Thursday since I want to do that in the morning….not much to do today…just the rides and cleaning as I wait for the pain of sleeping to go away….more later….
The stove is cleaned…
Well…I finally got off my butt and got some work done today…it is amazing what I can accomplish when there is no soccer or races on…got the two rides in and the cleaned most of the kitchen including the stove and then put the trash out…and I just had to make another noise call since some idiot to the north is blasting his thumpy assed bullshit that is drowning out my tv….didn’t get an outdoor ride in today since it was so windy out here…had branches down all over my yard so I went out and picked them up and I’m starting to get a big pile to cut up and bag to put them out when they start picking up yard waste again…should go out and get some manure for my garden and work that into the soil but that won’t happen for a while since the highs are going to only be in the 40′s for the next 10 days…ick…

Well…I wonder where the idiot trump gets his lawyers? With the indictments getting closer in Georgia, yesterday the idiot’s lawyers filed suit in Georgia to have the entire grand jury process declared unconstitutional because the jury foreperson went on tv to talk about the investigation…yep, they can’t dispute the facts that he tried overthrow the election results so now they are going to try to get the entire legal system thrown out instead…I’m pretty sure that no judge has ever thrown out an entire legal system to benefit one client and they are not going to in this case…this is just a delay tactic since they know indictments are coming and it is idiot boy’s go to when the law is getting close…file suit to delay and hope for something to happen to pull his ass out of the fire…oh, and it appears that something is happening in NY with the photos of cops unloading barriers to put around the courthouse on the internet this morning…so maybe idiot boy was right and he is going to be arrested tomorrow…we can only hope…geez…
March 20th
Well…running a little late with not getting out of bed til 7:22 and I know it’s going to be hard to get moving today…it looks like it’s going to be indoor rides today with the wind blowing almost 20 out there right now…had an okay day yesterday but didn’t get much done but the two rides…the birds were pretty active on the feeder yesterday and that was fun….going to have to buy more bird food this week but that will be the last bag until fall….my mouth is still in the healing process and slowly getting better every day but I’m still wincing at times when I don’t need to…I guess it’s in anticipation of the pain that is slowly subsiding….don’t have a lot to do today but really should clean the kitchen since the stove has gotten pretty ugly with all of the cooking I do….and my bedroom is so damn dusty…no, the whole house is dusty and I should probably change the furnace filter since I have a spare downstairs…not much to do today…just can’t get going right now after only one cup of coffee so I’ll ease into it and try to get on the bike by 8:30….and that is only 21 minutes away so I better get another cup of coffee and get a post out to Mastodon…more later…

Well…I remember reading about this last week but just forgot about it until after the idiot started spouting that he is going to be arrested Tuesday…that’s not going to happen but this one is…it was announced, I think in NY, that the parent corporation of idiot boy’s failing twitter clone is under investigation for money laundering over an 8 million dollar bundle of money that was funneled to it by the Russians…yep, the Russians again and idiot boy knew what was going on since he and his idiot son resigned from the board to try to distance themselves from this…is there any crime the trump crime family hasn’t done? If he thinks that he is going to get away with all the crimes he’s committed by rousing his moron followers to “protect” him from the coming indictments, I just want them to take a look at January 6th again…there are still 1,000 more people who are going to be charged for that…and their lives will be ruined..for trump? Yep, I said they were morons…geez..
Got some stuff done…
Well…it’s been a busy day so far today with getting two bike rides in, shoveling the snow, and making lunch…all before noon, and now it’s time to get ready for the Man U match that starts in 20 minutes, followed by the F1 race at 1, and then the Nascar race at 3 so the whole afternoon is planned out…I do need to clean the stove sometime today but that will probably get done when the Nascar race is on since I just want to sit here for a bit after running all morning…I will come back for a political one later if I can find a topic and that shouldn’t be too hard today…lots of Bluejays on the feeder today and even a couple of doves but no Juncos yet….more later…
