Well….yeah, I know, there is lots of crap to write about going on in the world but I just can’t work up any outrage to power it….so, I’m just going to noodle around for a while and see what happens….Virgin Galactic is going to have a powered flight test of it’s new passenger space ship sometime today…think I’ll go out and see if they have a you tube channel for it…be right back…nope, couldn’t find it….I did get out on the bike today and the trails were clear…but, it’s supposed to snow again tonight so it looks like a day off tomorrow and maybe even Sat if it rains….there are only two more Wings games for this season and I didn’t even notice….they were just too hard to watch this year, especially since I can still remember when they were good and expected to win every game…oh, well…maybe we’ll get a better draft pick…oh, one last thing…talked to my daughter yesterday…okay, texted with her…and I am going out to Baltimore in the middle of sept for her husband’s retirement party…and this includes a suite at Camden Yards for a baseball game and then a day trip to NYC…or, the trip will be first and then the ball game…I have always wanted to see NYC and a day trip sounds about right…..we have hard to get tickets to go up in the crown of the Statue of Liberty, too, so that will be cool….okay, that’s enough for now…

Well…running really late today and it’s because I woke up at 5 and then went back to sleep for the first time that I can remember….didn’t get up til 7:05 and I am normally already at the grocery store by then….slept okay last night but still no dreams to speak of….and that is the new normal….but, I’m not too sore today and I think that’s from not being on the bike yesterday…it was just too cold and snowy and I just don’t want to be cold anymore…I am going to try to get out today if it gets above 40 but I am kind of resigned to not riding again until Monday….still going to be cold until then and I can deal with that….I did get the bathroom cleaned yesterday and today will be the kitchen if I decide to do it….but not right now….need some coffee and news to get the day started right….more later….

Well…running a little late today and just can’t get started..and, I have been a little depressed…it may be that winter is still hanging on by it’s fingernails…the car is covered with snow again and I have to go out and clean it off in a few minutes so it will melt when the sun comes up….looks like another week of this cold, ugly weather so I guess I’ll just hunker down until then….I did get a ride in yesterday but won’t get out today…once I got over having to put on the full thermasuit again, it was an okay day on the bike….slept okay last night and don’t feel that badly today…worked on getting my back to crack yesterday and I think it is okay today…so far, that is….didn’t get much done yesterday but I will clean some today….it looks like my upstairs neighbors moved out and I never saw them pack….that is kind of weird since I’m here all the time…not much to do today…just going to veg it out and watch a little soccer this afternoon….more later….

Well….yeah, I know….no political one yet today but I had a thought that I wanted to share…how do you forget how to use something that you’ve used for 15 years? Let me explain….I have been having problems getting the hose on my little air compressor to seal on the bike tires for a  couple of months now and I had even been looking for another one to replace it since I thought the attachment was worn out….but yesterday, while I was airing up the tires on the car in a spring ritual that I do every year when I switch them, it sealed perfectly fine without putting any extra pressure when I attached it…so, when I finished that up, I tried putting it on the bike tires and it sealed up perfectly fine….so, how could I have forgotten how to use the thing after using it for 15 years? Not sure but it was nice to figure it out….oh, the second thought…I wonder why my t-shirts always fail in the right arm? I have a bunch of them with the same hole….it’s popped into my head that my sweat is like the blood from the beast in “Alien”….acid that eats through anything…..yeah, you know I’m weird….

Well….with almost all of the snow gone on the trails, I have a question that popped into my head yesterday…with all of the people out there walking their dogs, and some of them even cleaning up after them…why would they do that and then just leave the bag either on the trail or next to it? I noticed that a couple of days ago…that there are many, many abandoned bags out there and I wonder why they would pick up the waste and then not put it in the trash? After all, there are trash cans along the trail just for that purpose….and the waste would break down easier if they just left it… have always wondered why they pick the stuff up when it is in the grass….hmmm….oh, well…..

Well…running a little early today and I am getting tired of getting up so damn early….one of these days I’m really going to sleep in at least until 7….or even 8…that would be nice…slept okay last night and I don’t feel that badly today other than I’m sore almost everywhere…probably from the long bike ride yesterday….not sure if I’m going to go out today with the temps dropping all day and that will put me into full thermasuit if I go….or I can just wait until it gets warm enough in about a week or so….not sure if I can do that…didn’t get much done yesterday but, if I don’t ride today, I’ll have to do something so I don’t feel guilty….I did get the shower cleaned yesterday so the rest of the bathroom shouldn’t take long….more later….

Well…up early again today and I’m sure I don’t like it….it just gets me started too soon and then I have to try to fill time until the temp comes up enough to ride the bike…I probably should just write this week off with it going to be so cold all week and just hunker down and survive it….slept okay last night but still feel a little off today but I’m not sure if it’s the bug or not…will probably have to wait a while to see how bad it’s going to be…didn’t get much done yesterday but a little cleaning and I’m not planning on doing much today…have an errand to run and Michigan plays later but I wonder why they have to start the game so late….probably won’t get through it but I think I’ll try…I’m hoping my back will reset itself sometime today…it has been pretty painful the past couple of days and that is annoying…more later…..

Well….as you can see from the last part of the last one, I’m trying to figure out why my brain is not working as well as it should be and I think I’ve figured it out….not, it’s not that I’m getting old…although I am…in the past hour I’ve started to feel really warm and have also started coughing so I think it’s a bug….have been really lucky this year so far with not being sick hardly at all and certainly not having the flu…but, I just read somewhere yesterday that there is another flu resurgence that is happening now here in Michigan….sure hope  that is not what this is….but, I do feel kinda crappy so I guess we’ll see where this goes….

Well…almost forgot to come here and do this one today….felt that I was missing something and just figured it out…slept okay last night but don’t feel all that hot today so maybe I’ll take the day off and just veg it out….not even going to get on the bike today since the high is going to be 34 and I am not going to get back into full thermasuit again…I did get some things done around here yesterday and I may continue that today if I feel like it….don’t need to cook anything so it looks like an easy one for the first day of the month…Michigan made it into the championship game tomorrow night so I’ll have to get a nap in the aft to make it though since the game doesn’t start until after 9….not much to do today…waiting for soccer to start at 8:30 and still waiting for the coffee to work so I think I’ll get another cup and read some news….more later…

Well…running late this morning…have been up for an hour or so and I just can’t get going…probably should have started drinking coffee earlier but the couch was just too comfortable…slept okay last night but woke up with a pain in my right shoulder so I guess I slept on it  a little too much….but, it’s not too bad so I can live with it…but, no dreams after two days in a row of having them and that is disappointing…oh, well….I did cook a big ham yesterday and that was pretty good and will mean I don’t have to cook for a few days…forgot to get canned potatoes for my ham and potato dish so I’ll have to use some of the Idaho potatoes I got Thursday…they are so huge that I only used three of them to fill my largest pan….not much to do today…may have to skip the bike ride with the wind later…it’s supposed to gust to 50 or so and that is way too strong to get out on the bike…more later…
