Well…it’s 9:30 in the morning and I’m already exhausted….I guess this bug is worse than I thought and is going to keep me off the weight machine and the bike today….this one really started to hit last night but I’m not much worse today so I think it must just be a cold…but, I’m freezing and it’s 75 in here so maybe the flu? Crap…at least I don’t have anything to do today but clean…and not too much of that…more later…

Well….feeling pretty crappy today with the bug that has taken hold…have been coughing, warm, and have a sore throat with no energy but it’s no worse than yesterday so I think it’s just a cold and not the flu….I should have realized I was coming down with something on the bike yesterday when I was just freezing for the whole ride….so, I may take the day off the bike today or wait until later to go out…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be the same…I am going to clean a little today if I feel up to it…my lungs hurt….I feel miserable so I think I’ll end here for now….more later….

Well… I was bored tonight and remembered that I bought an LED light bulb for above my kitchen sink so I decided to put it in tonight just for the heck of it…oh, and it was only a buck at the dollar store that I am starting to like…it is really bright for only being a 60 watt bulb…but the weird thing is the longevity of the thing…using it 3 hours a day, it is supposed to last 22.3 years…yep, that’s right…22.3 years…and running it 3 hours a day costs $1.28…per year….now….that is some pretty cool stuff and I think I may get a few more of them if I can get them for a buck….the whole thing just made me laugh….

Well…running a little early today with getting up at 5 or so…I think my allergies are keeping me from sleeping well…and the voltage drain in the car…but, I have a plan for that that I’ll start working on today…after it warms up some…oh, pool was a tie and that was cool…and I had the top down out and back but I think that will be the last one for a while with the cold really rolling in later in the week…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I will work on some stuff today just cleaning since I have been avoiding it for more than a week now…I do need to finish up the ham I bought last week and get the rest of it in the freezer for soup later…more later….

Well….the time change is still screwing me up today but not as badly as yesterday….slept okay last night and feel okay today but I am a little tired….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks the same with pool this aft….I did get out and get a new pair of glasses so I can read this…only 6 bucks so no big deal breaking the other ones…..not sure why I’m sore today with only riding the bike yesterday….it appears that I’m going to be sore for the rest of my life and I’m not sure how I feel about that….after all, I’ve been sore most of my life so why should that change now? Not much to do today….going to clean a little but no cooking today…just going to live on leftovers for the next few days…I do need to figure out some new food since I am bored with what I have been eating….more later…

Well….after constant articles about all of the nastiness in the world and all of the hate, I just came across a little article over on Kos that reminded me that there are still good people in the world….a woman was in the hospital awaiting a liver transplant when she was told that she would never survive the surgery so it was cancelled and the woman was told that she would die soon….of course the woman was distraught from the news…shaking and crying in her bed when a random nurse saw her and held her hand to try to comfort her…the nurse then asked the patient what her favorite song was and gently sang it to her and stayed with her for hours just being with her on her own time….but that wasn’t enough…the nurse came back to her room for the next six days she was in the hospital and sang to her every day until the patient was moved to hospice where she died a few days later….When I sit here and bitch about having a crappy day…this type of story realigns my perspective in a hurry….and my belief that most people in the world are pretty good comes back to me….thank you to the caregivers and the good people out there…

Well…the time change always screws me up and this one is no different….and I broke my favorite glasses and the car didn’t start this morning…what a crappy way for the day to start…slept okay last night and I feel kinda okay today…will be able to get out on the bike in a few in shorts today with it being 50 already but then it gets cold for the rest of the year and I don’t like that too much….just in a crappy mood this morning and I’m not sure how long that is going to last….it is misty outside and I’ll end up wet by the time I get out a mile and I am not looking forward to that…not really looking forward to anything today other than Man U playing at 11:30…and they’ll probably lose and that will really make this a crappy day….oh, well….more later….

Well….got out early on the bike today…was out by 8:15 to beat the rain but had to do a half thermasuit with a stocking hat…but, that’s not what this is about….when I was just getting past the retention ponds by M-6, I noticed that there was a deer in the greenspace between the trail fence and M-6 that took off running along the fence when I got to it…after running about 20 yards down the trail, the deer stopped and watched me riding toward it until I got about 5 yards from it…the it took off and ran another 20 yards and did the same thing…this happened three more times until it decided it had seen enough, levitated over the fence onto the trail, then over the other fence and it was gone….something cool to see along with the half dozen deer I saw in the same area yesterday….

Well…running early for a weekend and I’m not sure why I’m up so early on a Saturday…but I am so I guess I’ll do this…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get anything done….I did get a bike ride in and it was a little cold but with the sun I survived it…I had no back pain at all yesterday and that was welcome….it was a little funny how much it cracked yesterday and today is starting out the same….just walking around here it has been very noisy…to me anyway…not sure if anyone else could hear it…..might have to put a half thermasuit on to get out on the bike today….need to get the ride done before 11:30 when Man U plays Chelsea…don’t want to put a stocking hat on yet but I’ll have to…damn…not much to do today…going to clean a little but that’s about it….more later….

Well….have been feeling too good mentally the past few days to pollute it with thinking about the orange baboon in the WH….so I’m not going to write about him today….but, what does that leave for me? Not really sure….there hasn’t been a lot going on in science that I’ve seen..okay…going to go do a search with the phone and see if a topic may be there…not much out there right now…some scientists have figured out how to 3-d print stainless steel that is stronger than regular stainless….which could mean that just about anything could be 3-d printed….bugs are disappearing….Germany’s insect biomass has dropped over 75% in the past 30 years…not sure what that means since the rest of the article is behind a paywall…okay…not feeling this right now so I’ll stop here….more later….
