Well…sitting here watching the Man U game and I am hoping they do better today against Arsenal…they have just stunk up the place to start the season and that is disappointing….I did win at pool yesterday but only put one 8 in on my own…drove the car a bit yesterday and there is no coolant leak so that is cool…and I’m not too concerned about the steering leak…so that is off my mind for a while…,made some cash yesterday and am going to make more today so it looks like I’m good for another month or so…and I am going to win the power ball tonight so I’ll be good forever…I can dream, can’t I? Just looked outside and it is snowing which really disappoints me…and that will mean I’m taking the day off the bike today….just too wet and windy to go out and I do need a break anyway….not going to do  a lot today but clean the counters in the kitchen and watch some football…..more later…

Well…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I did go over the car for winter and found some problems…I think the steering rack is leaking a little and there may be a coolant leak…added an eighth of a pint to the PS and a little under a pint to the coolant but I hadn’t checked either in a year so maybe it’s normal….don’t have the cash to have any problems right now….it is pretty nice outside right now and I think I’ll be able to get out in a t-shirt for the last time this year….it is 57 right now and I want to beat the wind that is coming….my back is better today and I hope that continues..it was getting to be draining with it hurting all the time…I am going to make a little cash over the weekend so the car has to not fail me…it is pool day today and it will be nice to get out of here for a while…more later….

Well…there is a part of my trail that runs along 60th street between Wing and Hanna lake that seems to be a deer killing zone….over the course of the summer, there have been 4 deer hit by cars and thrown up on the sidewalk that I could tell were there even without seeing them…nothing like the stench of 200 pounds of rotting venison….but, in the first three instances, some scavenger dragged the carcasses down the bank and into the swamp and gradually ate them over a week or so…but, I think they are either full or lazy since there has been a huge doe lying at the side of the road for 5 days now without being disturbed…..I was really looking forward to watching nature take it’s course and maybe catch a glimpse of the animals that did the cleanup on the first three…yeah, I know, I am so bored right now that even waiting for scavengers to do their job is entertainment to me…oh, well….but I don’t want the damn thing to stink..so scavengers…get on the ball and do your job….

Well…got up this morning to no fog…finally…while I like fog quite a bit, it was just too damn dreary for me…I did get a nice ride in it and it was so thick that I couldn’t even see M-6 from the top of the hill…it was cool in the woods, too…even took photos….made me think of Lord of the Rings….not as sore this morning but my back muscles still hurt  some….not sure what I did but I am really tired of it….it is a little boring in the morning without the papers…coffee and tv aren’t the same as reading….oh, well….it looks like a nice day today with the temps getting close to 70…and I spent 70 bucks on groceries today…yow…but I did get all the stuff for turkey day and stocked up on a bunch of staples so that is okay…should make some cash next week so I can get by until then….more later….

Well…my damn back still hurts and it must be how I’m sleeping…I did get a nice bike ride in yesterday in the fog but was wet and cold when I got back here and it took me most of the day to warm up….and I have the thermostat set at 75 and it still feel cold in here…hope it’s not another bug….it’s foggy again today and colder than yesterday so I may just wait to go out until this afternoon….it was so wet yesterday that my bike computer stopped working when the contacts got soaked…and I really never thought it would be that bad just with fog….not artwork yesterday but a tree filled with shoes but I think that is from the cross country runners on EK’s trail…have a few things to do today but it looks like an easy one so that is cool….it hurts to move so I think I’ll go back to the couch and finish my coffee….more later….

Well….not too much to say about yesterday…I did get out to have a couple with G last night and had the top down out and back…and it wasn’t cold at all….didn’t get much done yesterday and I am not sure what is going to happen today…have a bunch of stuff to do and I’m not sure if I’ll do it…can’t figure out why the muscles in my back still hurt unless it is the wind on the bike…it wasn’t really too bad yesterday so I can’t figure it out….have been under on calories for quite a few days now and maybe that has something to do with the back pain? It has been really hard to eat lately with nothing having any appeal to me…maybe some pasta today may help….still not feeling 100% and maybe that has something to do with it, too…not really sure about anything right now…more later…

Well…have been doing the whole news blackout thing for 6 days now and it is really harder than I thought it would be…just for the topics, that is, and it screws up my morning routine when I don’t have the papers to go with my coffee…and not driving the car every day is bad for it….but, I am going out in a little while to have a couple with G and I am going to put the top down and enjoy it…but I have that damn headache back and that is no fun….one good thing is I have enough money for the next two weeks in the drawer so that is cool…need to get my turkey this week so it will thaw by next Wednesday…..and I need to get rid of all of the leftovers by then and make some room in the freezer…okay, you’re probably bored with this one by now so I’ll quit here…

Well…didn’t get anything done yesterday but the bike ride and that can’t go on much longer…I need to get moving again and get some stuff done around here today…not too motivated still but if I just get going I can build on that….the muscles in my back are still sore and it must be from sleeping wrong since I haven’t been doing anything strenuous….just feeling creaky today and I don’t like it…it looks like the run of good weather ends later in the week with highs only getting into the low 40’s but that is about right on schedule for me to stop wearing shorts next Thursday….5 days into the news blackout and I am getting used to it…..so that will continue…more later….

Well…I was really looking forward to their being a new work of art on the trail today but no such luck…and the stuffed animals that were in the trees were gone, too…just some pretty strange stuff going on…unless I’m just going crazy and none of that stuff happened…who knows? I did neglect to relay that I went over 2800 miles for the year today and that makes the possibility of getting to 3000 ever closer…if I can do that, I am going to try to get this bike to 30,000 miles since I will only need a thousand miles or so next year….and the bike has been working so well since I got the pedal arm repaired that that looks doable…okay, that’s enough for the day…I am going to think up some other topics over the next few days and try to get back in the groove here….

Well…darn…the first day of frost on the car and that depresses me with the weather that is coming late next week…highs only in the 40’s….didn’t get anything done yesterday and today looks the same…the wind was brutal on the bike and my back is sore from it for the first time in a while…I did buy a paper this morning and threw away the news part…just wanted the ads to look at….don’t mind being in the blackout…okay…going to watch the Moto GP race and have my coffee….more later…
