Well…I guess I used up my political outrage yesterday so I won’t be doing one of those today…haven’t been real motivated today but I did get a few things done….broke, broke, broke again but I did take my broken equipment into the store that I use for supplies and they are going to fix it for just the cost of parts…about 15 bucks since I am a good customer…that will help since the new equipment is just not cutting it…one bad bit of news is that the US lost this aft so there will be no more world cup…I may watch some of the rest of the games if only to just root against Brazil and Belgium….now, it’s almost time to shut off for the day and just veg for a while…so, that’s what I’m going to do…

Well…another month goes by and I am trying to have the US game this aft drag me out of the depression that comes with paying the rent each month…and, I spent the last 2 dollars I had for papers this morning so it looks like it’s going to be a hunker down week with nothing much that I can do…yesterday was okay and I did get a few things done so that was good…but, I have recognized that the new equipment is worthless so I have to figure out how to repair the old stuff and make it work again….not something I really can afford right now…not much to do today…going to just hang out and do the normal stuff while I wait for the game at 4…go USA…..more later…

Well…last day of the month and I am slipping into the depression that always comes with this day…slept okay but don’t really care….it was an okay day yesterday but all I did was watch soccer…no cleaning or anything and that is not what I need to be doing but it is hard to get moving right now…and, I do need to do three more of these today to make sure I hit 60 for the month…but, that will be easy with the last decisions of the supreme court being released in about a half hour…so, I will be back in a few minutes to either cheer or rail against the stupidity of this court…back soon….

Well…the wildlife that I see on the trail has been getting weirder and weirder over the past few weeks with squirrels and chipmunks trying to die under my tires….and today, a deer came out on the trail and just stood there until I was close enough to touch it…then, it just turned slowly and walked away…something I’ve never seen in the years and years I have been out there. I guess it’s not a suicide deer…but weird anyway….

Well…it was just another day yesterday…just like the rest of them and they are now running together so I really don’t know or care what day it is…slept okay but I really don’t care about that either….there was some good soccer on but I was rooting for Brazil to lose and they didn’t….there is going to be a good one with Mexico and the Netherlands on at noon so maybe that is something to look forward to? And the 6 hour sports car race from the Glen so at least I won’t be bored….and I need to do two more of these to get caught up so there will be some thinking involved…hope it doesn’t hurt….more later…

Well…it has been a while since I did one of these about the oddities I see on the trail so it’s about time I did…I’m not sure if it is the weather or what but today was a day for suicide squirrels on the trail…must have had 15 of them run out right in front of me…just like the chipmunks that did it a few days back…I even hit one of the chipmunks but he kept on running so I guess he’s okay…there is a human oddity, too…for the past couple of weeks, I have been seeing a guy walking on the trail with earbuds in reading a book as he walks…not sure if that is something I would ever want to do but I applaud the multitasking…anything else?..Oh, only 110 miles to 20K…probably the week after next….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I lost at pool…but, I lost on a really cool shot so I can only smile about that one….slept okay but still feel a little crappy today but that is the cocktails last night I’m sure….they did get the roads completed last night so getting in and out of here is going to be easier…I did get out to see K for another parenting lesson and a beer so that was fun but the rest of the night was just more of the same boring crap that I have been fighting for months now and today looks like more and more of that….there is soccer on at noon so it does give me something to look forward to…not much to do today…going to get on the bike after another cup of coffee so I can get back here for the matches and I do need to clean some but that is about it…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I have already relayed the details of it so I won’t go on about it again today…I did wake up with this general malaise and depression today and I’m not sure what it is about…might be that I’m broke again and that the new equipment might not be working like I need it to….or, it could be that I’m just getting older and there is no escape from that…I feel like I should just go back to the couch and stay there for the day but that would just make it worse…so, I guess I’ll just have this cup of coffee and get out on the bike….other than that, not much to do today…pool, since it’s Friday, but that is about it…. and, I do need to get caught up here…more later…

Well…it has been an interesting day today with quite a bit to do and some surprises…I did get out to the sos today and it was one of the most painless visits that I can remember…they have a new electronic system that texts you when it is your turn and the entire thing only took about 8 minutes from the time I walked in the door…but, the 91 bucks it took for me to walk out was painful….I did meet up with G for lunch and had the best chicken tacos I’ve ever had…and it was over at the mex place right by me…I wish I had the cash to eat there more often….now, I’m just waiting for it to be 7;30 so I can have a cocktail and watch a movie with the free HBO I have this weekend…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t do much…just the normal stuff and some more cleaning around here…slept okay and with it being day 4 of being good, I feel okay today but it is going to be a long one…at least until noon when the US match starts…have the grocery run and then have to go out to the SoS office to get my license and plates renewed…that should take an hour or so and might make it a little tight getting back here on time…going to have to move the bike ride back to the aft after the game….and will be happy or depressed so whatever it is, the bike ride will help….other than that, not much to do today….going to continue to straighten this place out but that is about it….more later…
