Well…the damn phone was supposed to be here today but it looks like it won’t come until Monday…grrrr……just checked the tracking and I am a little irritated….and after staying off the bike to be here when it was delivered….oh, well…I did need a day off the bike so I guess that’s something…

August 5th
Well…feel pretty crappy this morning and not having a phone is not helping…it’s weird being cut off from everything…and getting the new one set up is going to be a pain…I will be off the bike today waiting for it to come fedex….didn’t get a lot done yesterday other than getting the new phone ordered and it looks like today will be consumed with getting connected again…..at least my back didn’t hurt much yesterday and it feels okay today so far….might be a good thing to rest it and my legs, too….okay…not feeling this right now so I think I’ll just have more coffee and veg for a while…..more later…
My phone died…
Well….had another phone die today and it is such a pain in the ass….and I won’t get a new one until tomorrow…and I had to pay for it since my warranty ran out on the last one….I did get a nice phone for only 129 bucks…a Samsung galaxy S-7…and the retail price is over 600 bucks so I guess I got a pretty good deal….but, it is still a pain….
August 4th
Well…running a little late today and I just can’t get started….haven’t had any coffee yet and that may be part of it….had a pretty good day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…..was hoping to take a day off the bike but it didn’t rain enough to keep me from feeling guilty…and today looks the same…it’s only going to be in the 60′s today and that is pretty cold for Michigan in August…but it is not going to rain today so I’ll have to get out on the bike later….I did adjust the seat on the bike and that made the ride much more comfortable…not sure why I didn’t look at that earlier…not much to do today…no pool today since Tom has to work so I’ll just hang out and clean I guess…more later…
A new grand jury….
Well…these are the kind of posts that I like to do….it was just reported today that Robert Mueller has impaneled a new grand jury which will start it’s work by looking into the meeting where all the trump campaign bigwigs met with a bunch of Russians to get information about Hillary that would help the idiot trump’s campaign. As of today, they have started to issue subpoenas for any and all information about that meeting which I assume will include testimony from all of the people who were there for it….and that means Manafort, trump jr., and kirschner are all in their sights now….but it doesn’t end there…this grand jury is looking into money laundering that trump and his cronies were part of for years…and it is pretty obvious that they have them on that count given all of the information that has leaked from the investigation….these events tell us that there is there, there, and Mueller is close to indictments for at least some of the parties to the meeting at least, and maybe for the entire trump crime family. It is going to get delicious and I’ll pass on Keith Olbermann’s advice to the entire family…”flee now, while you still can”…impeach…
Lies, lies, and more lies….
Well…is this enough repubs? Is this enough for you to finally rid us of the idiot trump? Oh, forgot to tell you about this first…my brain is out of synch….I really hope you’ve heard the last bit of lies to come out of the mouth of trump and his cronies…it starts with trump telling everyone that he got a phone call from the “head” of the boy Scouts telling him that his speech was the best one that was ever delivered to them…one little problem…the call never happened..in fact the scouts apologized for the hitler youth rally that trump turned the speech into…then we have the idiot telling everyone…again…that the president of Mexico called him to tell him he is doing the “best job” at immigration…again…never happened…no phone call, no praise, just trump living in his delusions and that should worry you repubs…and you should do something about it…he hates you guys, anyway…so why do you continue to protect this idiot? Impeach….
August 3rd
Well…running normally for a Thursday and I feel pretty good today…have slept pretty well and have had dreams for 3 days in a row now and that is really unusual….and my back is still just twinging but no real pain and that is a welcome relief….it has been an annoyance for the past month or so and it is good to have it gone…I know it will come back, probably later today, but I’ll take what I can get….didn’t get a lot else done yesterday but didn’t need to so I guess that works out…did get out in the sun for the second day in a row to try to even out the tan and I am still surprised how much damage 40 minutes will do…..no peeling but I can feel the tightness from it….I do need to get out on the bike here in a minute since there is fog out there and I love riding in it….more later….
Noodling again…
Well…had a few things I wanted to comment on that really won’t support an entire post so I’m going to just noodle around a bit and and see if I can get them out of my head….the fighter planes were at it again today but they were right down in the weeds and many of them were in pairs that looked like a real dogfight…I think I watched them for 20 minutes today….that was a lot of fun….I did have to clean out my storage shed yesterday to make some room and ran across the manuscript for my first novel…written in cursive in ink on yellow legal pads…I think there are 12 of them and I may just transfer them to the computer so I’ll have a digital version of it…don’t have much else to do and the only computer copy was on 5 1/2 inch floppy disks that have long since disappeared…I thought it was lost to me and it was a really pleasant surprise to find them buried in a box with a bunch of cassette tapes….
The White House is a dump?
Well…I don’t think I can be surprised anymore by the shallowness and crassness exhibited every day by the idiot trump. The latest lowest point (and it won’t be the last) has the idiot bitching to his friends that he spends so much time at his golf clubs since the White House is such a dump….now, let’s let that sink in for a minute…our house, the house that is the symbol of the US is a dump? If you’ve been paying attention over the past 6 months, you know that the idiot has no respect for the traditions or laws of our country, and now this…okay, trump, the only reason the WH is a dump is the fact that you live there…that you pollute the idea of the country’s house, living there illegitimatly, after you stole the election by colluding with the Russians…if you hate it so much, just leave, resign and leave…you are not going to be living there much longer, anyway…I wonder what you are going to think about the federal prison that is going to be your home for the rest of your life? What a colossal asshole….impeach….
August 2nd
Well…running a little early today with getting up a little early…slept okay last night and feel okay with being good again last night…my back was good most of the day yesterday after doing some heavy work that fixed it…but, the twinges are coming back this morning and it appears the pain will be back in a little while….oh, well….I did get a bunch of stuff done around here yesterday and I got a good bike ride in…I did adjust the position of the seat and that helped me get comfortable on it again and I did another small adjustment after I got back here so it will be interesting to see if that also helps….I did get out in the sun yesterday and got a little scorched…and only after 20 minutes or so on each side…but, it is helping get rid of the biker tan so I guess I can take it….not much to do today…need to clean more and get some resumes out but that is about it…more later….
