Well….I’ve been trying to find a topic…no, that’s not true…I got a lot of stuff done around here today and none of it had anything to do with a topic for this thing…..at least the stock market is in positive territory for a second day in a row and the bleeding has slowed some….that could be a topic but I’m not motivated to do that right now, I’m still quite tired and I may just go out and lie in the sun and listen to music for a while….yep, a slacker day for me and it looks like the rest of the weekend is going to match it…I do have pool with Tom Sunday but that is about it….I do have to go over to 28th street and get some ribs that are on sale for 99 cents a pound…I may take the weekend off if it rains…so, go rain….more later….

Well…. a night of dreams last night and they were weird ones with monkeys, floods, and broken electronics in them….yeah, I can’t believe it either but that’s what they were….it may be a good thing that they are fading fast and I don’t remember the details….didn’t do much yesterday but clean up around here and watch a movie but I am still exhausted…hope I’m not getting the bug that T had or it may be that I have not taken a day off riding since the first part of May and I might just do that today but I think I’ll look at the weather and see if I can stack it on top of a rainy day…not much to do today…I do have some tasks to finish up around here but that is about it…..I will be back for at least one later….

Well….it was definitely not just another night last night…went out to see Willie Nelson play downtown and had a ton of fun…it was almost like it used to be with a bunch of the old group together again laughing our butts off all night and I was good and came home when I should have so I feel okay today…ran into Sarah from the now closed Kava house and it was so good to see her and talk for a while….so, finally a good night to report here. Not much to do today, though…I did have to have the shifter on the bike fixed again yesterday…broke another cable and had to ride the thing back 10 miles with only two speeds…not fun….I am going to get groceries this morning and then take it easy the rest of the day….I am a little worn out from all of the fun yesterday….

Well…another night but I was really good so I feel okay today….I did make headway here on the cleaning and I feel good about that, too….all of the cobwebs are gone from my room and I got all the clothes folded and taken care of and I hope there are no more spiders since I found about 20 of them….I am going to continue working on the place and getting rid of stuff to get ready for a move if I can find a job somewhere else…there are things to do today…C is coming into town and J got some free tickets to see Willie Nelson tonight downtown so I think I’ll be going out to do something finally….and I made a little cash so I can buy groceries tomorrow….at least I can make it through the rest of the week….more later…

Well….just had to pass this one along since I haven’t done a trail update in a while…today, while out at the end of the end of the ride, I ran across thousands of grasshoppers that coated the trail from edge to edge and that flew up into a huge brown cloud when I went through….and that cloud brought a thought to my head….what if this is a sign of the coming apocalypse? You know, plagues of locusts…from the bible….oh, well….it sounded better in my head than it did after I wrote it….

Well….another night and it was a weird one…out with G for a few and more arguments and I really don’t want to do that anymore….so I don’t think I will….other than that it was just another normal day of looking for work and trying to stay fit….I really did take it easy so I feel okay today other than no sleep….still a little fuzzy so this one is not too lucid at this point….not much to do today….I think I’m going to really get at cleaning here….had some pork explode in the microwave yesterday and it sounded just like a gunshot…when I opened the door, half of the rib had just vaporized…had never seen that before…the mess was nice and even over the whole interior…so even that I just had to stare at it for a while….yeah, I told you…it doesn’t take much to amuse me…

Well….another Sunday but it was better than normal…went out to have a couple with K and had fun….it looks like no waves for today so I’m going to get back to the normal routine….feel crappy today and I’m losing my motivation to work out and ride…I wonder if I can take the day off and just veg here and watch a movie…nope, that doesn’t work for me, as you know, the guilts work quite well for me and I’d be thinking of nothing else…not much to do today…I really should keep cleaning this place up but I’m not motivated to that either…oh, well….I’m already one behind for the month so I do need to get moving on that….more later…

Well…it’s about 7:45 and I am trying to get going so I can get the bike ride in before the fog burns off….not much of a night last night with just hanging out here but I guess that’s what it is right now….so, I’m going to come back later and build on this one….

Okay…I’m back…had to get the bike ride int an get lunch started…making some Texas style ribs in the foil pouch and it smells good in here…even got some work done…had to clean the shower grout and I wonder how they expect you to use cleaners to do that when you aren’t supposed to have them touch your skin….I feel like I did some damage to the bottoms of my feet since I had to stand in the tub to clean…do they make feet gloves? Hey, I may have just invented something new….the fog was already gone when I went out so it was not the neat visual I was expecting but it was a good ride….waiting for the storms to come here in a few minutes but it look like they are kind of dissipating as they come across the lake….I may have to take a trip out to GH tomorrow if the waves are going to be the 8-10 feet they are predicting…even though I’m getting older, I still love to play in them….

Well…yeah, I know, I’m early today but I’ve been up for 15 minutes and I’m already bored so I thought I’d do this before I go out to get the few groceries that I forgot to get Thurs….not much to do today after that, though,….maybe this wasn’t a good idea….I’ll be back in a while….

Okay, got the bike ride in and feel a little better…I think I may have a bug of some sort…I’ve been quite tired lately and only feel good when I’m on the bike….maybe it’s the heat…who knows? I did get another one done and if you’ve been here before, you know that is really unusual for a Saturday…but I had this weird idea pop into my head when I was out riding and had to get it down before I forgot it….looks like another event at the church behind me and there will be noise all day….may have to run the air…more later…

Well….it was a long day yesterday and I do feel a little crappy today…I did get to have a couple with T and that was fun….nope…not feeling it…just too depressed about the economy…going to the couch for a minute or longer and will be back later…

Okay…I’m back…got the bike ride in and feel 100% better…I still don’t have much to say right now so I’m going to start lunch, get some stuff done, and read the online papers….I will be back later with more than this….trying to stay current with the count this month…
