Well…it has not been a good day today…have felt like crap all day and that has forced me to just hit the couch…stomach has been iffy all day with an elevated temp so I think that means I haven’t been eating enough…it’s hard when nothing even looks good and makes the stomach worse just thinking about eating…or, it may be a bug, who knows? I do know that thinking about political stuff is the furthest thing from my mind today so the chances are small I’ll do one of those…the bike has held up for the third day of riding today so that makes me feel okay…but, when I was out today…I felt like crap with no energy in the legs and I even was having problems getting enough air so maybe it is a bug…or maybe that I only had one cup of coffee before I went out…oh, well….I guess I’ll just write the day off and start again tomorrow….

August 20th
Well…running late again today and I am going to blame it on the soreness in my neck that just won’t go away…and I know it’s bad when I start taking ibuprofen before 8am….but, it may be that I’m sleeping better and hurting it that way…who knows? It was an okay day yesterday but an almost total veg out and that just can’t continue to happen when I do have things to do….so, I’m going to work on that today…cleaning needs to be done and I do need to drive the car since it has gone about a quarter of a mile since Friday and that is not good for it…I do need to get out to the beach this week, too since it is getting to the end of August and I haven’t been there yet…it is supposed to be about 90 on Thurs so that looks like the day if nothing else comes up….right now, I need to get on the weight machine and then out on the bike…more later…
Tennessee repubs are pricks…
Well…just had to comment on what happened over the weekend at a town hall meeting that was held by one of the repub reps from Tennessee…when a 12 year old girl whose father is an undocumented alien asked what the rep was going to do to help her father avoid deportation along with the other millions that are here, and this prick answered “nothing” and then went on the typical repub rant about they are here breaking the law so they should all deport themselves…yadda, yadda….but, the worst part is the crowd turned on this young girl and started to cheer this prick as she stood there crying….where the hell are these pricks from? Who taught them that it is okay to attack even children for political reasons? That is where the repub party is right now…just a bunch of hating pricks who don’t deserve to breathe the same air as those of us who have empathy for the plight of others…I’ll bet they went home feeling so smug and good about themselves that it makes me sick….I just can’t wait until they all die off…geez…
August 19th
Well…running kind of late today but it is nothing but just being in a lower gear to start my day…have had this bad pain that started in my left shoulder yesterday but now has moved into the center of my back and my neck…so bad that I have taken some pain medicine already today…not sure if I can get the workout in but I am going to try…it was just a normal day yesterday and I’m not sure if I hurt my back on the bike or not…there has been a grinding sound coming out of my lower back but that is pretty normal…didn’t do much yesterday…did cook some food that came out okay and then just watched the races….a pretty veggie day…not much to do today…just going to do the normal stuff and keep it low key until the pain subsides…more later…

Well…as I said yesterday, with the clowns being out of Washington, I really haven’t had a lot to write about but I am going to continue to cheat so I don’t get behind and have to do a bunch of these in one day…I did take the bike out with the new repairs and so far so good….no cracks in the fiberglass or looseness so I guess I’ll keep my fingers crossed…it was nice to have a seat that didn’t move around and change every few feet…that just annoys the hell out of me….and I do like the way the chrome seat post goes with the polished aluminum swing arm…I did just notice that the seat has started to come apart at the seams so I do have to sew that back together…probably will do that right now so it doesn’t get worse…so, no political one today…I’ll really try tomorrow…
August 18th
Well…it was a day yesterday and I got a bunch of stuff done…even started to clean and that is something I’ll continue today…even going to cook today…pork loin with mushroom sauce, carrots and potatoes….but, first, I want to get out on the bike and see how the repair worked…it looks like it is a much better job than the last time and I hope it lasts more than a week….slept okay last night but still no dreams so nothing to report…okay, this one is going to be short for now since I am really want to get out on the bike and see how it works….more later…

Well….it has been a day today and I have been trying to find a topic that would mean something but with no luck…so, maybe I’ll just start and see where it goes…I did have to work on the bike again today and re-do the fiberglass since it had started to de-laminate…this time, I did 5 layers all at once so it will be a monolithic block…and, I went out and bought a new, longer seat post that will take advantage of the part of the downtube that is not cracked…and this post is pretty cool…you can adjust the tilt of the seat that I couldn’t do with the last one…pretty cool…maybe it won’t hurt to ride as much…or pinch the nerves for my legs…haven’t heard from T today and that is really unusual with how it has been going lately…oh, well…I’ll live through it…I did get to see the first Man U game today since it was on NBC and not NBCSN…but, I’m not planning on even looking for them anymore…cold turkey will be better since most of the rest of them will be on the stupid channel….I did get to watch a couple of races today so that was cool…and I did get the start of the cleaning done that I will continue tomorrow so I feel good about that, too…not much else to say right now….okay….maybe this one was cheating…but, with the entire government on vacation…no one is doing anything stupid…
August 17th
Well…running normally this morning and need to get this one done before I get out on the bike….it was an okay day yesterday but I don’t remember who won at pool so I won’t comment on that…slept okay but that is all there is to report on that…no dreams to speak of but I haven’t tried to remember them lately…I so need to get going to get on the bike….not much to do today…I am going to watch a couple of races and try to get the kitchen floor done but I don’t have to cook today so that will make it easier…pork loin tomorrow so that will be something to look forward to…more later…
Trying to stay ahead…
Well…it has been a long day with trying to go across town and having it take an hour and a half and a quarter of a tank of gas…but, that’s not what this is about…it is just a short one about a really neat thing that is happening at repub town hall meetings…the idiot repubs are trying to run on and are proud of repealing the ACA….the problem is that the people they represent are having none of it…asking one rep in Florida to stop lying about the ACA and then putting him on the spot with what he would replace it with…nothing but fricking silence from the idiot….so, I think as people get to understand more and more of the benefits of the ACA…the repubs are going to be in trouble…can’t happen to a crappier bunch of folks…geez…
August 16th
Well…running a little late this morning and it is just that I don’t need to be in a hurry on Fridays…it’s a no work out day so all I have to do is get on the bike in a few minutes…I do have to do some repairs to get the squeak out again but that takes about a minute so I can just take it easy…it was a good day yesterday with a long HH with T and lots of laughs and the car has just been transformed with the clutch fix…just so much more fun to drive now that it shifts right…slept okay, too, and that is a big plus…I did get out to Target and picked up an all in one printer yesterday…a wireless printer, scanner, copier for only 35 bucks…can’t even buy the ink for that price…pretty cool but I’ve never owned an Epson so we’ll see how that works..not much to do today…out for pool later but that is about it…and another one of these, too…more later…
