Well…just wanted to do a shorty on an article I just read about a comparison of jobs created by repub and dem presidents…and there really isn’t any comparison…since the end of the cold war there have been 49 million jobs created…and guess how many are from each party…yeah, you know where I’m going with this, don’t you? Of the 49 million jobs net, the dems created 47 million of them or 98%…and that just shows that the dems economic policies are ones that work for everyone while the repub policies of tax cuts for the rich doesn’t do anything but make the rich richer…and we need to shout this from the rooftops since people believe that repubs are better on the economy than the dems when that is not even close to true…geez…

Need to pick on Walker again…
Well…I am feeling considerably better now that I have my Walkman working again and I have played 5 songs without the battery going dead..so, I thought I pick on one of my favorite targets again and his dismal record of job creation that has been mirrored in every other state that is run by the repubs…the latest data from the BLS shows that Wisconsin’s job creation rate under Walker is less than half the national average and trails dem run states by as much as 50%…yep, Walker, the poster boy for the repub agenda of right to work for less, less taxes for corporations, and union busting has basically trashed Wisconsin’s economy by that nonsense…just as Snyder has done here in Michigan…where the only job growth has been in the auto industry and whose assistance by the federal government was opposed by every repub here in this state. I can’t stress this enough…the states are laboratories for repub ideas and by the objective numbers in every measure, they fall far short of progressive policies that serve to protect the middle class and reign in the egregious income inequality that the repub policies are designed to make worse while they enrich the 1%. I will be really interested to see how this idiot spins these numbers…oh, that’s right, they go by gut feel, not no stinkin numbers…geez…
308 days and counting…
Well…just a short one for now…kind of a reminder of what the repubs think is important….they make quick work of the “In god we trust” resolution and other nonsense that has no meaning to ordinary citizens…like the two bills in the house and one in the senate that would instill “personhood” on a fertilized egg and restrict women’s rights to control their own bodies…but not one bill to create jobs or to help the middle class out of the crises that was created by their cronies..so, this may turn into a daily thing…but that would be cheating so I may just include this count up in the morning one….let’s say this together…it has been 308 days since the repubs have taken control of the house of representatives…and not one bill to help the un and underemployed here…geez….
