Well… with Liz Cheney losing her primary to an election denying moron and the media still trying to rehabilitate her and Adam Kinzinger…let’s all just remember these are not good people…they voted with trump over 90% of the time and continued their attack on voting rights by voting against the restoration of the voting rights act that the supreme court gutted, voted against disclosure of presidential candidate tax returns, voted against the John Lewis voting rights act…and let’s not stop there, they both voted against abortion rights, transgender rights, and they both voted for cutting taxes on the super rich and corporations while trying to get the ACA repealed so that regular Americans would lose their healthcare….and they both never saw a war they didn’t love and were against getting out of Afghanistan even after we were spending money and lives there for 16 years….these are despicable people who only did one thing right…opposing a violent coup from the idiot trump…so, let’s not get too carried away…neither of these people are a “national treasure”..they can be commended for their January 6th committee service but that is a very low bar to get over…it used to be all repubs would have opposed the fascism on the right..but no more..they love them some trump and the permission he has given them to be the worst people they can be….and these two went along until now…geez…

Don’t give Liz Cheney so much credit…
Well…boy, with all of the credit Liz Cheney is getting for her work on the Jan 6th committee, people are forgetting who she is and that this work is the only thing to like about her. Through her career, she has been one of the farthest right wing repubs there is…and she has made lots of racist comments and has attacked everything that our side has tried to do…so let’s take this whole act with a ton of salt…I appreciate the she and Kinzinger are the only repubs who think our democracy needs saving and she did just call out “gym” Jordan and McCarthy for being the spineless liars they are….but, it’s a veneer over her awfulness and when the committee work is over, she will go back to being the terrible person she is….I will thank her for this work, but that’s it….geez…

Well…it looks the idiot trump and his minions got their way in removing Liz Cheney from her leadership post in the House…but, I think their high fives are going to be very, very short lived…do they even remember who her father is? Yeah, that Dick Cheney…the one who has overthrown governments, approved torture, and lied us into the Iraq war…and that was just on a Tuesday…the Dick Cheney who is still plugged into the old boy repub networks that control the money going into the party…do they really think Dick got the nickname Darth Vader by being a Star Wars fan? Cheney is the guy who works behind the scenes to get what he wants…and you never see him coming as he shivs you in the back…does anyone think that the idiot trump or Kevin McCarthy can go up against him? When he takes slights of his family just like an Italian mob boss does? We saw some of his behind the scenes machinations when he got over 100 former state and defense department heads to put out a letter warning trump about using the military to overthrow the election…and it is well known that he thinks trump is just a washed up game show host who never should have been president….and this diss on his daughter is going to be the last straw and he will use his power to torment trump for a while as he goes after McCarthy too…and he is going to end any possibility of McCarthy getting what he wants, and that is to be speaker of the house. Now, I hate Dick Cheney with a burning passion for what he did to harm the US while he was VP, but if his Vaderishness can be turned on idiot boy, I’ll watch that…
Liz Cheney sticks a shiv in irony….
Well….there was a little bit of welcome news the past week when the tribal nations of the western plains won a lawsuit against trump’s Fish and Wildlife Service that prevented them from breaking the law and removing the grizzly bear from federal protections under the ESA. The only reason Cheney and her cronies wanted to remove the bear from the list was to pave the way for high dollar trophy hunts so some guides could make a profit from the sacred bear of many of the plains tribes…but this lawsuit stopped another huge deal….the lifting of leasing restrictions on almost 34,000 square miles that is made up tribal treaty land that would make it easy for outside interests to come in and mine, log, and graze livestock on this land basically for free while the Native Americans got nothing. In a breathtaking speech that was as ignorant as it was insensitive, Cheney actually killed irony with a shiv when she said ” this suit was motivated by the plaintiffs intent on destroying our western way of life”….which to Cheney, her dad, and the rest of the repubs/conservatives mean that they should be able to come in, gut the area, clear cut the timber, and leave the taxpayers on the hook for any environmental cleanup after the companies declare bankruptcy to dodge any responsibility for their actions. Now for a fake westerner to come in and say that is to deny the history of the country where whites came in and took the Native Americans “way of life” by murdering them and taking their lands for nothing…sounds like destroying a way of life to me….how about you? Poor babies…the courts stopped them from plundering more of the country and their entitled little minds just can’t take it…I feel so bad for them….ha,ha…
