Well…just got off the phone with 5/3rd to sign up for a new credit card as my old one is being phased out…so now instead of a 1,500 dollar limit, I now have a 7,000 dollar limit and get 1.67% cash back…much better than the old one and, with my capital one card, I now have a line of credit of over 12K to use for emergencies…I did get out and ran errands this morning and I think I found the surgery building I needed to find so I can get the lesion removed on the 29th…now I need to go down and get the 2nd ride in…hope I have at least a couple of books that I haven’t read out of the 5 I checked out this morning…

January 7th
Well…up and moving at 5:40 this morning and I feel like crap with a bad headache and no energy that I’ll have to get over soon so I can get the day started…feel really old today and need to get over that so I can do my busy day and get the grocery run done…don’t have a lot to get but I do need to hit the library and pay the water bill…we are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow so a lot of the snow will melt…and it’s getting to almost 50 tomorrow then the temp will drop into the 20’s by Sunday and I’m not sure if I’m ready for that…yeah, I know…it’s winter in Michigan so I have to get used to it…I do need to put the books aside today and get some work done around here…the bathroom needs to be cleaned and the stove needs a once over so I’ll have plenty to do…my BP soared yesterday into the 140’s and I’m not sure what I did to have that happen…not much to do today…just lots of coffee and then weights and a bike ride before I get going….more later…
I did it…
Well…it took the entire week but I just finished up the 7th book this week so I can take them all back tomorrow and get a few more…so you can imagine that it was not a productive day at all…so I’m not going to get as many books this week so I can get some work done around here…I did put long pants and a long sleeved t-shirt on to ride the bike downstairs today and that seems to have helped since I wasn’t shivering on the couch after I finished and my fingers didn’t turn white so that’s going to be the new normal for me…doesn’t look like I need to cook for the rest of the week since the soup is lasting longer than I expected and I still have at least 4 days of chili dogs…okay, I need to get the grocery list for tomorrow done…
Another impeachment coming…
Well..as I predicted, some dems and even some repubs are preparing articles of impeachment for the idiot trump’s illegal invasion of Venezuela, but for everything illegal he’s done since he started this term…the latest is singling out blue states and cutting out SNAP payments to the tune of 15 billion dollars…and he thinks all he has to do is shout fraud and that makes it legal…never mind that numerous investigations have been done and none of them found any fraud at all…and this violates the equal protection clause in the constitution by treating blue states differently than red ones….and this is just his ham handed way of punishing poor people that live in blue states…this alone will guarantee a blue tsunami this fall but when all of the terrible things the repubs have let him do are lumped in, maybe there won’t even be a repub party…and they brought it on themselves…geez..
January 6th
Well…up at 5:34 this morning and that’s okay…didn’t take anything to sleep last night and slept okay so I can live with that…still feel worn out, though…so I’m going to ease into it this morning and let my body do it’s wake up thing…I was looking at the paperwork from my yearly check up yesterday and saw that my BMI was over 25 and that says I’m obese but I sure don’t look or feel like I am…I have put 15 pounds of muscle on my upper body and that screws up the calculation…oh, well…didn’t get anything done but reading yesterday and I do need to finish the last book so I can hit the library tomorrow so I’ll need to get my butt moving soon….just poured the first cup of coffee and I’m going to pour another one right now so I can get started…it’s warm enough out there that it’s going to rain and I’m happy that I don’t have to shovel snow today…going to try to get through the winter with the 5 year old snow shovel but I will have to buy one this year…not much to do today…just need to get the exercise in and start to feel human again…more later…
Trump is lying again…
Well…of course when idiot boy opens his mouth you and I and everyone else knows he’s lying…after he kidnapped Venezuela’s president last week, he spouted off that the vice president was ready to “partner” with the US but the VP then issued a statement saying sh agreed to no such thing…so of course idiot boy threatened her with “paying a big price for not cooperating” since she didn’t roll over for the asshole in chief…this is blatantly a war crime and the next time trump leaves this country, he should be arrested and sent to the Hague for trial…and that goes for hegseth and the generals who didn’t do their duty to refuse an illegal order…geez…
Just can’t get warm…
Well…as you know, I have been struggling with the cold this winter and today was the worst day yet…after doing the rides downstairs in a t-shirt and shorts, I ended up shivering sitting here on the couch even with a long sleeved t-shirt over another one and my long pajama pants on…it got so bad that I was reading under two blankets with the heating pad on my chest…and my fingers still turned white like they always do from the Reynauds…finally got warm enough to sit up and do this one without the heating pad on so maybe I’ve turned the corner for today…having a hot bowl of soup helped I think but damn this is getting annoying…hope it doesn’t get worse…and no, I’m not turning the heat up from 66 where I’ve had it since I bought this house…oh, well
January 5th
Well…up at 4:30 and out of bed at 6:05 but there is a cost to it…took a benadryl to sleep last night and I feel like crap this morning so I guess I’ll have to stop that and just take my chances on sleep…I did get most of the way through the book that is due back this week and I’ll finish that today…and then I’ll read the rest of the other book I’ve got going so I can take them back Wed and see if there are more that I haven’t read…I know there will come a time when I’m out of books and that is going to suck…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and I’ll try to do more today but don’t have a lot of hope that I will…need to get on the weights now and get the rides in before 9am or so…didn’t snow overnight so I don’t have to shovel and it looks like it won’t this week with the temps over freezing until Sat…not much to do today…just need to do the normal stuff and then figure out the rest of the day….more later…

Well…I really think the media should stop saying that “we” invaded Venezuela…it sure as hell wasn’t the 60% of the country that disapproves of the idiot trump…and I sure as hell don’t want to be lumped in with the thugs and thieves who went along…again, any president does not have the power to declare war himself…that duty falls to congress so he’s breaking the law again…we all know what this about…Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world and trump and his cronies have been scheming to figure out how to steal the oil for years…and now idiot boy says American oil companies are going to “run” the country I wonder how the Venezuelans feel about that? This will be the first charge of impeachment when we retake the government this fall…along with the hundreds of other times he has broken the law…geez…
January 4th
Well…up and moving before 6 today and I’m pretty worn out…again…and I need to get off my butt and get moving since Man U is playing at 7:30 and I need to get the weight work and one ride in before that…had an okay day yesterday and even got some cleaning done…not sure if I’ll do more today but the house can use it…it is going to warm up this week with above freezing temps all week and I’ll take that any time in January…might have to go out and shovel the snow since we got a little yesterday and I want the walks to be clear with the warmer weather…don’t have to cook today with the big batch of soup I made yesterday and I have eggs and smoked sausage to make an omelet so I may just do two meals today….who knows?
