Well…as of yesterday, it’s official…the impeachment inquiry has started and not a damn day too soon. I’m not sure why no one else has noticed it…even after Jerry Nadler went on both CNN and Rachel’s show yesterday and said bluntly that what the Judiciary committee is doing right now IS an impeachment investigation and that he predicts articles of impeachment will be filed before the end of the year….and he is not hanging his hat on only that investigation but has sued Don McGahn in federal court to compel his testimony to his committee and has also sued to get an unredacted copy of the Mueller report along with the underlying grand jury testimony and evidence. So, it appears that things are gathering speed to get a full accounting of trump’s criminality…and that is in addition to every bank that the idiot boy did business with turning over all of the records pertaining to how and who trump did business with in Russia…it appears that bringing in Bill Barr to protect the moron in chief is rapidly becoming a moot point as the House is getting information that trump has been trying to hide since the Russians installed him…and there is more and more to come…I’m waiting for the meltdown from idiot boy that will happen this weekend with him being on “vacation” and having all the time and adderal he can use…the meltdown is going to be epic…I would end this as I have for a couple of years with impeach….but I don’t have to anymore…it’s happening…about damn time…

Well…I wonder when taking the day off got to mean still doing 30 miles on the bike? Hmmmm…don’t want to talk about sleep today since you know how that went…so, what the hell do I talk about? It was an okay day yesterday and I did get out to get the paint I need to start the interior work on the house today…I am curious how the filler I used for patch work is going to sand out and what kind of surface it will leave…I chose a white eggshell finish for the paint since I really like that and it is easy to paint over it when you want to change colors…okay, enough about that….still didn’t get any cleaning done around here so I guess it will be the project for the weekend…but, soccer is starting this afternoon and I find myself looking forward to the EPL season more than the Lions this year…after all, they lost their first preseason game last night 31-0 and looked really, really pathetic…Man U just has to be better than they were last year but with no addition of a striker and with Lukaku leaving the team, I’m not sure where the goals are going to come from…maybe I’ll do one on that this afternoon…hmmm…again…this is supposed to be about my life but I seem to be unable to think about that right now…is this my life? Thinking about unimportant stuff? seems to be…more later….
Under the radar…
Well…taking the day off the house today and that is really needed…so that gave me the chance to read some news today and found a couple of stories that appear to be flying under the radar of the big news organizations…with the repubs in charge of the confirmation process for Brett Kavanaugh in the senate, they were able to hide almost all of the records of his time in the WH and of his confirmation hearings where it is clear that he lied his ass off both for the SC and for lower courts but the dems couldn’t do anything about it…but now, as the House gets involved, the Judiciary chair, Jerry Nadler has requested the rest of the records from the National Archive….while the repubs in the senate had been able to hide almost 95% of the records as they jammed Kavanaugh through, they can’t do a damn thing about this request and it may just lead to an impeachment inquiry for little beer loving Brett. The other story that is not getting the attention it deserves is the fact that many banks have started to turn over their records concerning trump and his ability to still get loans from Deutsche Bank even after no American bank would deal with him, and his relationships with many, many Russians who were involved in money laundering…and these records are going to both the NY AG and various House committees who are investigating the trump crime family. I’m not sure how long we are going to have to wait to see what is in these records but I have the feeling that, with trump being a criminal his entire life, there will be more bombshells of just how big of a criminal he is…impeach…
August 8th
Well…up at 5:04 this morning and it was another one of those days when you just know you won’t get back to sleep no matter what you try….so, I just got up and got moving…slowly, but moving…and I think I slept okay but I hurt like crazy from working on the stump and getting all of the filling done so I can paint tomorrow…going to start on the interior of the house tomorrow and the new white is going to get rid of the dinginess that is making the place look old…it is old but I know I can make it look better with just a little work…but, not today…going to take the day off other than going out to get the paint and supplies needed to paint tomorrow…haven’t been feeling that hot the past couple of days and I guess when you get old, there needs to be rest periods built in…going to cut back to one ride a day, too since it feels like I’m doing permanent damage and the sores from riding need rest to heal…I am going to try to force myself to clean some today since the shower is looking pretty bad and my stove needs cleaning, too…so, too much work to do so I need to get on it….more later…sure not bored anymore…
What a day…
Well…this has been a day already and I am glad that I am home and on the couch right now…after having a nice bike ride where my saddle sores are a little better, I suited up to go over to work on the house and some moron from the road commission scheduled road repair on 131 to be done during the day, shutting down one lane northbound and backing traffic up all the way to M-6 and it looks like that will be going on all week so I may not be going over there unless I take the long way around…M-6 to 196…so, I think I’ll take tomorrow off…I did finally get the last big stump out of the back yard after working on it for an hour and that wrenched my shoulder to the point where I may have to take something for it…and, on the way over to the house, the tail pipe on my car rusted out and fell off, making it a bit louder but livable until I get a new one that I just ordered…got a cat back from a company called parts geek for only 77 bucks including shipping…I was going to order it from Rock auto who I bought the last one from but they wanted 70 bucks just for shipping…and that last one only lasted 3 years and this new one probably will be about the same but for 77 bucks, that’s about right…more later…
August 7th
Well…running a little late today and I’m not feeling too hot right now…just damn worn out from everything but I need to suck it up and get moving in a few minutes…but, I’m not doing two rides today since I need to maintain some energy for working on the house and I’m not young anymore…I did sleep okay last night and didn’t get up until after 5 so I guess that’s progress…but I don’t think that makes up for sleeping only 4 hours a night for the past couple of weeks…one good thing is that I’m not too sore today but I am having problems with saddle sores from riding too much and they hurt like crazy when I get on the bike…I may have to take a couple of days off to help them heal…have had this happen before but not for a couple of years and it is really annoying when you can’t get comfortable on the bike…didn’t get anything done around here yesterday but I do need to clean the bathroom at some point and vacuum, and clean out the cobwebs so I may have to take a day or two to do that….but not right now…need to get ready to get on the bike and just can’t get motivated right now…more later…
trump screws the pooch again…
Well…just read that the idiot trump has stopped listening to any of his economic advisors when it comes to trade with China and is going to go with his “gut” in announcing new tariffs that will be imposed on sept. 1st…and guess what the stock market did with that bit of idiocy? Down almost 800 points yesterday and China told idiot boy that they are not going to be bullied by the moron in chief and cut off all agriculture purchases from the US since trump broke his promise to not impose any more sanctions if the Chinese would ramp up it’s purchases…as they were doing but I guess someone on fox news told trump that in talking to the Chinese he looked weak so of course he had to try the same type of bullshit that worked with contractors when his casinos were going broke…bluster and bullshit. trump is so far out of his league in dealing with China that I think they are just screwing with him until he is voted out next year and the adults take charge again….I just hope he hasn’t tanked the entire world economy by then…impeach…
August 6th
Well…up for the final time at 4:54 this morning and it was one of those mornings where I just knew there was no point in even trying to go back to sleep so here I am….I did sleep okay, though, so I guess that’s something…and I guess getting up early is okay today since I have to be over at the house by 8:30 for the window guy to get that process started…it does look like I’ll have the house done by the end of August so that gives me a pretty big cushion of two months to get my stuff moved…I did hurt myself yesterday hauling some bundles of shingles to the back yard of the house and that means I’m taking the day off today to plan what more I need to buy to fix all the stuff that still needs to be done…just detail stuff that won’t take a lot of money or time….I hear the coffee is done so I am going to go get a cup….okay, I’m back…didn’t get the chance to cook yesterday but I need to today since I’ve had some chicken marinating for a couple of days and I don’t want it to spoil…and I do need to stop at DD on the way home to get some more boursin cheese spread at 2/1.00…how can I pass that up when it is 4.99 each at Meijers and I just love it…still have two in the freezer but I think I’ll take one of those out today…and they have parmesan meatballs on sale for 1.99 for 2 pounds and, even though I have been avoiding red meat, I may get some just to have in the freezer with being so busy lately and needing to get enough calories to support all the activity…I do need to get out on the bike just as it gets light today so I can be back here by 8 or so and get cleaned up…so, I’ll end here to read the news and have more coffee…more later….
An Adderall addled POS….
Well…sniffy mc sniff face was at it again today when he gave a press conference on the murders in El Paso and Dayton and I don’t know how anyone could believe that he was not high with all the sniffing and the tongue movements that look just like someone who is near the end of a coke binge…and he just finished his 215th golf outing where he crashed a wedding and the pictures of his eyes from that one looked just like someone who has been high for a few days…and then the comments he made today are just more of the same repub bullshit where he blamed everyone and everything but the damn guns that are at the center of all of these murders….I mean, every other country in the world has mental illness, video games, drag queens, and every other scapegoat that the repubs have trotted out…but they don’t have mass murders and the reason is they don’t have guns every damn where…and they don’t have racists in chief who egg on white supremacists to violence against black and brown people every day…and they don’t have a *president who disbands the FBI department whose job it was to identify these terrorists and stop them from murdering…but those terrorists are trump’s base so he can’t have them being exposed…when is there going to be enough to remove this Adderall addled asshole from our lives forever? Today would not be too soon…impeach…
August 5th
Well…as you can see, I didn’t come back for a another one yesterday and I’m not really sure why…I had the time and there are plenty of topics but I just couldn’t get motivated or get my thoughts straight enough to do it…that’s been happening a lot lately and I think it’s from the stress of trying to get the house finished and all the BS that comes with that…oh, and the not sleeping too, and the not eating…you get the picture…and then I try to kill myself with doing 30 miles a day on the bike on top of that….something has to give and I think that will be the two rides a day…after all, 15 miles should be enough to keep me fit and, as K said, I’m not 30 anymore and need to heed that….I didn’t get anything done around here yesterday either and that has to change….I did get to some of the cobwebs that were annoying the hell out of me but I have a lot more to do…and I still need to start getting rid of stuff so I don’t have to move it in a couple of months…I could use a day off of thinking about all of this stuff but I guess that won’t come until after it’s all done…more later….
